  1. YES! I WANT SWG PRE-NGE BACK WITH THE CHARACTER STORY LINE OF SWTOR!!!!!!!! SWTOR is a ok game and I would be lying if I said I didn't have fun playing. The fun has more to do with the people I play with. The game itself has, in my opinion fallen short of even my lower expectations. I came from SWG and yes I am bias. I loved the ability to tailor your class, decorate the inside of your star ship, a much better and affordable housing model, crafter driven economy, and much more wrapped up in a nice little sandbox style of play. I will say SWTOR has a much better story and quest system than SWG, but having smugglers slice your weapons and armor was sweet or group space combat, having your guild on a multi person ship where everyone can work a gun or station on the ship and go town on pirates or what ever. Now we have strongholds which is a start. I did find that the cost to unlock the strong hold rooms is ridiculous. I get EA and BIOWARE are companies and want to make money, Cartel market brings in that money along with subscriptions and as long as people are willing to throw there money at the game they will continue to take it, but dang its pricey . The long drawn out point is this, take SWTOR and SWG and smush em together and you will have a Star Wars MMO that will last for a long long time. PS quit making the ARMOR all goofy looking!
  2. Thanks for that, shouting at the wind would probably bring more results!
  3. +1 and add open space with story archs
  4. I hate to be a negative Nancy but what has happened to the trooper armor. A radar dish on the helmet...really. Yeah I am a vain gamer, I like my character to look rockin. I just keep seeing things in game that look as if they were drawn by my 9 year old. The new fighters for example, the scouts look cool but the rest look terrible imo. My biggest complaint right now is the way the trooper armor is going. The first armor types looked good but as time goes on the worse they get. I am still waiting for the armor Jace Malcom is wearing in the trailer. I am glad to see the game is progressing but taking ideas from sci fi movies from the 50's isn't good enough. I do appreciate all the hard work you guys are putting into the game to make it successful so don't take this as I am bashing the whole game.....radar dish on the head....
  5. Very cool look. Venerable Badd *** lol
  6. +1 No one can tell the future. I came back after being greatly dissappointed and now I am having a great time. Others will come back and as will the addition of new players who want to check it out. Some will leave and some will stay. For the question asked there is no other answer.
  7. I was right there with you brother. I dig the SW universe and really wanted to enjoy this game long term. Played my trooper to lvl 50 also and then started having issues getting groups. I was in a good guild however the amount of guild mates online began to dwindle and I would find myself waiting for far to long to get a group. Group finder will help but now the server I was on is underpopulated. The worlds are really to linear to explore and space...well it was to arcadish for me. I have since shut off my account and am now giving the game time to simmer a bit in hopes of improvement and server mergers. I tried rolling a few new characters but beyond there story lines everything else is the same. I would prefer to expound on my trooper but as i mentioned before finding a group is a quest all in its own. My suggestion check out Lord of the rings online or EVE. Both are great games with more than enough population and openness for a long lasting virtual adventure. Cheers
  8. I had high hopes for TOR. However after playing 1 character to lvl 50 and a few others to mid lvl, I lost interest. The game felt shallow to me. I wasn't the only one in my group of friends that ended up unsubing for the same reason. About 20 plus in our group started out and there is between 3-5 still subbing. We all want it to succeed as all of us are star wars fans but it just felt to confined. Some of the server drop can be attributed to summer weather taking us back outdoors. Unfortunately that is more wishful thinking. I will let the game simmer a bit and try it again down the road. One other thing and maybe it's just me,but it seems every game company that has crawled into the proverbial bed with EA has produced sub par games. Or great games once under the EA influence have started to decay.
  9. I personally chose "all of the above". The reasoning for this is, I don't get much time to play and the last thing I want to do is spend my time trying to get a group for a flash point, heroic, operation. I am in a great guild and group with them when I can unfortunately my play times are a bit off. What would be helpful is the ability to queue up for a FP, OP, or Heroic and choose your roll and go back to playing. When your group fills you get a notification much like you do with PvP. I understand it would not completely and magically fix the time it takes to get a group together everytime but it might make group forming more accessible with out constantly having to spam LFG every few minutes. Thanks
