  1. Do I just have some really old cookies stored for swtor.com or are the pics in the "Latest Screenshots" section on the front page from Summer 2012?
  2. Is there a reason why all the lvl 50 NPC protectors weren't upgraded to lvl 55? While doing my Seeker droid and Binocular quests on Tatooine I keep seeing lvl 20s inside their quest hubs being ganked by lvl 55s because the NPCs can't kill the lvl 55s. Is this working as intended?
  3. Seems a little steep to me considering I can get 10 RWZ comms for 30 WZ comms. Was this an oversight or is this a disincentive to get gear while leveling up through warzones? And yes, I am aware the old gear is still available on the Capital worlds. It would have been nice to have more options with PvP though.
  4. Player kills have not always been tracked. The statistics tracked by Pre-Season One didn't begin until months after release. Should we ever get out of Pre-Season One I'd assume they'd reset as well.
  5. Feels kind of weird. Never seen an expansion (for a game with subscribers) released this way. Not sure if Bioware could have made this process anymore unclear and complicated.
  6. A couple questions Amber. 1) Since when have missions and schematics been tied to character level? and 2) I can not purchase the Advanced Crew Skills (which are at 400) and I've purchased the expansion. However I purchased it in March so I do not have Early Access. Do I have to wait until the 14th to start working on my crew skills?
  7. I'm not asking for details of the contract. Something in between full disclosure and completely ignoring the topic would be nice though.
  8. Valid point. I guess I am asking to be mollified but I'd rather not sit in the dark now, while I'm attempting to enjoy the game, than feel betrayed later. I'd prefer a more open discourse on the future of this game.
  9. Thanks for trying to derail this thread but there is a valid concern that needs to be addressed by the producers of this game. They've been quiet for months since Disney purchased LucasFilm. Now that Disney has taken the provocative move of basically shuttering LucasArts (the division of LucasFilm that EA/Bioware was directly involved with, please check the bottom of this page for their logo) a request for a public statement regarding the going concern of this product isn't out of line.
  10. I have always had hopes for a SWTOR2 with something better than the Hero engine. SWG limped along for over a decade, so yes, I do.
  11. Spelling it correctly would be the first step to understanding it. This is a company (Disney) that fired their CEO in order to maintain a partnership with Pixar. Having to spend a few million to cut ties with EA/Bioware is nothing to a company the size of Disney.
  12. Unless they think this game is damaging the intellectual property they spent billions to own.
  13. Right, because Lucas didn't take the license away from Sony so TOR could be the only Star Wars MMO in town. It is business. If they think they can make more money with something else, they'll do it.
  14. What if Disney wants an MMO based in the New Republic and not the Old. Do you think they'll want competition for that MMO?
  15. I'm not demanding a response from the Devs. I'm merely suggesting that its time the Producers made an official statement regarding the acquisition and now sacking of Lucas Arts by Disney and the on going existence of this game. There's some uncertainty in the TOR community (well, at least me) about the future of this game. I've been a subscriber since Early Access in 2011. I'm concerned and I'd like to know if the Mouse is going to shut down The Old Republic.
