  1. did you just not read any of what i said? im not debating which of the ones above are better, its clear as day. But all of them operate better than Anni/watchmen. so you just wasted your time making that post. on the other hand did you read it and immediately take it personally? IO operates like Anni. you pop bezerk/supercharge gas you get big DoT dmg. but whilst thats off, or not up you get borderline useless dmg. this is the issue at hand. your swapping "burst" for fluff DoT DMG. its very easy to get kills in games like Voidstar with dot specs, you apply dots. spread dots let em tick. its why dots can get like 40-50kills on certain match types. but you throw Any of those specs mentioned into 1v1, they will come out on top 9/10 where as Anni, just gets fisted. Its got very little to no burst, its DoT's are useless with no Bezerk, its 3% crit heals on dmg is useless, coz you'll heal for 300-800 per tick then with bezerk 1000-4000. yet every class hits you for 20-120k crits. not to mention its a very squishy class and its MELEE so your not escaping. yes i will say it does have the BEST Defensive abilities in the game but now you have to choose so its sorta left feeling empty. i whole heartedly believe Anni needs a rework because it does, its burst is meh, its DoT Is pretty meh. and its survivability.. is quite poor. not as poor as shadow's/sins but its not far above. and im not saying re-work everything.. but make it more viable for 80 pvp content. and another thing, why are you talking about burst specs? Anni isnt a burst spec and i didnt compare anni to any burst specs... so sounds like your off your rocker? Also, it honestly sounds like you havent played any DoT Spec in the last 2 years. Pyro at the moment is VERY GOOD. HATRED is also very good from a dmg perspective yes, they are not META. but they can HOLD THEIR OWN..... I challenge you to sit down learn and play hatred, or Pyro. because they are very good right now. ESPECIALLY PYRO. with the right set up you can get a 80k CRIT with 1 ability and all your dots do like 30k over time with the exception of scorch that does 40k over 30 seconds. and its spammable.... with a range of like 10m

You guys seriously need to take a hard look at the pvp stats out their for class's Because trying to use Anni/watchmen in warzones is just a disaster! yet meanwhile, Innovative ordinance, Madness, Hatred, pyro and lethality and Vengence are all just beating everything, now im aware half the argument is "ooh just swap to one of those class's you'll have more fun" but my argument here is why in the hell are EVERY other DoT spec in the game right now able to pump out so much dmg and win 1v1's yet annilation gets slapped fluff dmg. for example i can go on pyro, leth, hatred, madness or veng and absolutely devestate a Sorc healer. yet i go on a annilation mara/sent watchmen and for the life of me cant get that healer below 60% to allow for fairness i used to same gear across all DoT spec's and this was warzones. my argument and my issue here is Innovative ordinance, vengence and lethality all act the same. where as Hatred, madness and anni act the same. you do dmg, you get heals. great! so why is it a sin or sorc DoT's can out do annih's dmg, do it from range and survive longer... yet ANNIH is melee. my whole argument is shouldnt melee, be able to preform better in melee than range class's?
  3. I dont know about yall, but as a 330 Mara/sentinel, im feeling more tankier then most tank classes including that of the lame shadow and jugg lmao. Powertech tanks are in a league of their own i dare say most content they do could end up running through it with Mara's annilation heals. any possible buff coming or changes to the tank spec legendary items for shadow/sin and jugg? would be nice to have something more useful.

The Master mode flashpoint regarding group finder is active however whenever people get flashpoints such as Objective Meridian, Spirit of vengeance, ruins of null, Nathema, a traitor among the chiss, groups tend to leave individuals get locked behind a 10minute window and forced to wait even longer if they stay. i am not saying remove them, because you guys put a lot of time into them however it's clear that nobody wants to do them yet were forced to do because of the weekly, I propose, if at all possible, to allow one to select certain flashpoints that they want to do, and it still count towards the weekly Yes, this will bring about the spam station but certain people Quing for the weekly then leaving when they get a flashpoint, they don't want to is affecting those that yes don't like it but want to farm the gear but don't have guildies or friends to jump on with to carry them through

  6. For maruder/sent - 2 Piece: Dual Saber Throw or Twin Saber Throw increases power by 5% for 15 seconds. Cannot occur more than once every 30 of seconds. 4 Piece: Reduces the cooldown of Frenzy or Valorous Call by 15 seconds. Additionally, activating Berserk or Zen increases all damage dealt by 4% for 15 seconds. 6 Piece: Dealing melee damage will grant Weaponmaster's/Challenger's Critical Bonus making one of your next Vicious Throw, Furious Strike and Annhiliate or Dispatch, Concentrated Slice and Merciless Slash critically hit. This effect can't occur more than once every minute. For Jugg/guardian 2 Piece: Smash and Raging Burst or Force Sweep and Focused Burst increases power by 50% for 15 seconds. Cannot occur more than once every 30 of seconds. 4 Piece: Reduces the minimum range of Saber Throw by 10 meters. 6 Piece: Enrage or Combat Focus will grant Vindicator's Critical Bonus making your next Impale and Furious Strike or Overhead Slash and Concentrated Slice critically hit. Assassin/Shadow (DPS): 4pc: -15s cooldown on Recklessness and undefined (should be Force Potency, appears broken) 6pc: Voltaic Slash/Clairvoyant Strike and Thrash/Double Strike make your next Assassinate and Maul or Spinning Strike and Shadow Strike critically hit. (60s ICD) Basically what i am listing is the old 3.0 gear set bonus's Of course i know some changes will be made and i understand this'll be a pipe dream but well, Vindicator, weaponmaster/challenger were the old school kings of the game during the mash monkey days!! would be nice to see them used.
  7. They don't but all im saying is... people know if your going to tank in PvP environment just run a guardian its easy mode and insta win.
  8. Hey, is there any Word on possibly making a Set bonus that is actually dedicated to shadow/sin Tank? every other class has one...and they're pretty OP? Where is ours guys? because the one that gives like a 10% damage reduction per spinning kick. legit is kind of bad when compared to the likes of a guardians when they get like a 17.5% for every taunt and pair that with that grit teeth tactical... and heavy Armor.... just making them more OP. Are we going to get anything decent soon? Because. i am genuinely wondering here is all. I have a few possible ideas im willing to bring up that wont break the game nore make Shadows/sins "OP"

First off I wasn't asking for a nerf, I suggest you re-read it again. second thing, this is for the changes they are making. not how it is currently.... so I again suggest you re-read it. third thing, if you bothered to click the links and read through everything, jugs get, guardians get and sorcs. then read what shadows get you will understand.... that their is whole new playing field that the game devs arnt paying attention too.... Smash monkey never went away, maras/sents have always be strong. in the right situations... no matter how good you are as a shadow/sin you will. 9/10 struggle to beat any other class in the game.. unless your A on darth malgus fighting some mug whose played the game for like 3 days and used a token. our damage is less, our damage reduction is less. phantom stride spends more time glitching, then working. Lacerate/whirling blow does more damage then most of your Rotation, and backstab crits probably around 40% of the time.
  10. You understand that tanking a deception sin in a 1v1 isn't a hard thing to do right? given how bad of a spec it actually is..... specially given an experienced shadow/assassin tank is almost unstoppable lol... This is for 6.0 and the changes they are making to every class but shadows...
  11. So ill just kick it off and get to the point. Shadow Changes for 6.0 Are laughable... honestly I have yet to actually meet a Shadow/sin main who Pvps and has read the changes being made and actually agreed with them We are glad that changes are being made however for those i do speak for, my friends and myself. you guys are making the wrong changes. I Know SWTOR is not a PVP game however it does Have PVP in it, and i myself like many other people have been pvping since ranked season 1. back when expertise was a thing. back when Shadow could actually run into a cluster of opponents and be able to get through maybe 6abilities before it was forced on the defensive AKA stealth or Phase walk Now it was OP and changes were made, you guys took phase walk and it did hurt though we kept going, you lowered our damage and gave us phantom stride. it hurt yet we still kept going. but to add insult to injury or pour salt on a open wound you gave Phase walk to a Sorc/sage... Which many of us shadow players still find annoying. You giving a range class MORE range....and NOT ONLY THAT....you are also giving it to a Slinger and sniper? Theee Most Overpowered classes in the game. and expect Shadows and Sins to combat that when we have no self sustain and now very little to no damage, when they have heals. Rolls, AOEs and now a Phase walk and some of the most Overpowered combat utilities this game as to offer. And that is just 1 of the classes with a very minor change. however you have Guardians and Juggs getting faster cool downs on there Focused defense/enranged defense. getting 2 leaps and being immune to stuns, multiple Damage reduction buffs. and various other changes. and tie that in with Sorcs with their multiple AOEs Free casting and amazing force/energy sustain for lightening spec, force bubble that can heal with the correct utility and if you put it with another utility it will also flash and stun the opponant. with 2 other stuns and phase walk + Alacrity buff multiple heals. As for the Dot spec, it slows opponants, spreads dots. increased damage by 10% and various other changes that reduce cooldowns of its main DoTs and so on.... Whilst you expect a Shadow/sin with various Minor changes to actually Combat that? To be able to do more damage and sustain when it has very very awkward and bad defenses No self healing capabilities and a very fragile stealth that Literally every class in the game can get you out off.... with either a lucky AOE or a well placed AOE or 3 deppending on the class So lets discuss the changes we know off so far that sin/shadow has so far. Assassin - Shrouding Guard – Force Shroud also applies to any ally you are guarding. = Whoopsie F***ing DO...useless. Reckless Shadow – Recklessness increases your Force regeneration greatly for a short time. - Again Useless infil/deception has great force management and Hatred is to broken to be actually used. Multitrap – Mind Trap can now affect up to two targets at once. - USELESS.... Shadow Step – Phantom Stride now has 2 ability charges. <--- Yea ok sure its meh at best Darkness Shadow Shroud – Using Force Shroud while Dark Ward is active consumes it, but extends the duration of Force Shroud by a quarter of a second for each Dark Ward stack consumed. - Meh not great. Shadow Ward – Dark Ward gains 5 additional stacks and Phantom Stride resets its cooldown. - Phantom stride? really? now your just trying to make a glitched ability seem useful. Redirected Wrath – Wither generates Redirected Wrath stacks per enemy it hits, increasing your damage reduction by 2.5% per stack for 10 seconds. - 2.5? thats it...thats allll you can give? for 2.5% everyone should go guard/jugg then get a better offer then a 2.5% LOL Deception Discharging Voltage – Severing Slash causes your next Discharge to arc to multiple targets. - Pointless given how Deception is a 1v1 Burst spec...with NO DAMAGE... Burning Bolts – When Reaping Strike hits, it causes its target to burn. - OHHH a DoT just what we need..... LOL High Voltage – Using Voltaic Slash and Lacerate with 2 stacks of Voltage deals additional damage and finishes the cooldown of Ball Lightning. You assume we will live long enough to get 2 stacks of voltage before we are destroyed.... ITS PVE at best. lol Hatred Hungering Blade – Critically hitting with Leeching Strike resets its cooldown and increases the critical chance of the next Leeching Strike. Stacks up to 3 times. - Sounds decent and fun. might help fix the Dot Exhaustion Field – Death Field does 10% more damage to all targets, additional damage to Force Slowed targets, and spreads Force Slow’s effects. - Again with the SLOWS...its a shadow its a MELEE class.....THEY DONT NEED SLOWS..... as your going to be within 1-6 meter distance as thats the range of shadow lol Thrashing Terror – Creeping Terror has a 10% chance to tick an additional time whenever Thrash deals damage. - Useless...really is... 10% to tick an additional time when thrash deals damage.... i had to repeat that because Thrash? IS TRASH. I think the best place to do it is the new flashpoint you can pick up on oddesson has a few nods around and you can just repeat it, ive just farmed my way around zakuul swamps 4 times and i didnt get anywhere with it just a bunch of grade 9 so it seems it just hit and miss so the patch 5.2 stuff is true, either iokath or odessen fp
