  1. I would also argue they have become a pathetic speed dial for people that have nothing to say. Go anywhere and mention the prequels. "OMG plinketts reviews" I AM SO RIGHT!!! Let us know when he treats the OT with the same fervor and bias...
  2. How about the 30 year olds that have yet to prgress past the mentality of a 10 year old?
  3. McDonalds sells the most hamburgers. So you would agree McDonalds makes the best hamburger?
  4. So then the "carebears" should get the same amount of valor in the ops ner system. Its only fair right?
  5. Define why this is in the "star wars discussion subform" ?
  6. Of course he is "still defending it" Its his. Its what he wanted to do. He does not owe the whiny petulent fans a goddamned thing. It is not your IP. You do not get your way. Get over it. Over a decade of this sad nerd rage and what has it done? Given some fat fanboys a few heart attacks and thats about it. Move on with your life. No really move on Its not the end of the world. Your childhood has not been destroyed.

  8. We need Maryland servers. We are just as imp[ortant as the Danes.
  9. Funny tidbit. The first Death Star was about 150 KM and took decadas to build. The second was around 900 KM and took a few years. But ya the Imperium have battleships that are wider then a ImpStar and are about 1/3 the length of a SSD. SSD's were supposed to be rare and a drain on the economy of thousands of planets. **** you EU for just throwing them out behind every asteroid in the universe. WH40k actualy has a base and the economy to build these ships. Yet in Star Wars 25,000 ImpStars were built during the Galatic Empire and that was said to strain them. But lets forget about that. StarWars Cap ships have deflactors. Then can absorb/deflect so much energy. They need to have physical shielding and thats not so much better. WH40K ships shoot torpedos designed to destroy ships of equal size... even a near miss can be crippinling. All the time they are shooting their main batteries the out range SW ships by... well its a lot. Dozens of times. I love me some SyarWars and the world built around it. But when stacked up to 40k... it does not work. Nothing.
  10. This Goldan age superman was unlimited in "power" But even then he was weak to magic "is the force magic?" In the golden age Superman could not be hurt in a physical manner. The "death of superman" was showing that suficent physical force could harm him. AKA Doomsday. As for that JLU episode Darkseid gets beaten down by Superman but its Darkseids tactical thinking that wins out. Even tho he is more then a match then Sups. Sups gets the upperhand because he is the good guy and thats how the writers wanted it. As far as this thread is concearned. Golden age or anything after... Superman wins over the jedi. If the force equals magic then Sith or dark jedi would win. If Superman was released of his morales no Jedi, sith, or Dark Jedi would stand a chance.
  11. I thought it was the templates or what ever super rare ancient lost tech was corrupted so it built the corrupted machines? I always did like the twist the the Emperor didnt want to be a god but now that he is worshipped as one he has gained strength from those trillions in the void. Since it is a materailzation of emotions. I would give it to WH40K for this intergalatic smack down. Its a universe built for war and destruction.
  12. No its the same exact ballgame. WoW was measured against EQ at the time and its 5 or 6 expansions that added all sorts of content that people clamoured for.
  13. I enjoyed the "music all the time" part myself
  14. That is 7 years of development, polish, bug fixes and content patches. Oh and 3 expansions. Of course a game with that much time and money thrown at it will have more then one with less. WoW 4-5 years of development and has been live for 7 years. TOR 5 years of development and been live for less then 2 months.
