  3. Yeah..right.... Have u seen the 1st page or even 2nd or 3d? People already wrote all kinds of threads asking for revert action. Some of them ended up with actual actions like unsubbing (one would think this is the most persuasive way to make EAware do smth) but still no reply from devs. They and are the ones who kill any hopes players have. I agree with some of the statements above about Communication (or to be more concrete - absence of it ). This is one of the main problems between players and implemented game changes/devs. Personally , I have no idea what Musco is doing every working day. I guess it's his part time job here.
  4. EAware, Bioware - to me it's not that important. And it definitely doesn't influence my point. Whiners in the title - well, how else to call such ppl?
  5. Well, at least when the game is shut down(with patches like 4.0.2 this time may come faster than expected), people will know whom to blame. First a minority whined about companions being OP. Their main arguments: - The game is not challenging anymore. - Casuals are so bad, all they do is try to protect their OP comps from nerfed, when instead they should L2P Some news for you guys : - Class story content, planetary solo content, H2 was NEVER A CHALLENGE in the 1st place. Why should it become after 4.0? IF you wanted challenge - you'd do HM FPs, OPS, PVP(ranked in particular) - L2P has nothing to do with people arguing against comp nerf. Strong companions simply make repetitive gameplay routine FASTER. Thus enabling players concentrate on and enjoy STORY more. Pay attention - I don't call these players casuals, because it doesn't matter if u are a long playing veteran of this game or just started it. With strong companions you can follow the story, level different classes,collect more achievements without unnecessary long GRIND. Your skills don't grow while doing all that like they do if you actually go for HM challenging stuff - so why making the grind longer? Then Eaware almost in a secret (here I should say Thank you "dataminers" for posting info on forum before the patch) kills companions' healing/dps output. And they do it releasing so-misleading and full of lies statement. Some of Musco's points: - "we definitely saw the community be divided" Well this would kinda make you think that community is divided into somewhat equal parts. NOPE, so far those who cried for the nerf seem to be a clear minority. Game devs for sure knew that majority liked new companions. But they still chose to hit the Nerfhammerer - "Ultimately, this decision came down to our own goals for Companions" Oh really? Looks like another lie. Devs, you tested companions before 4.0. And you definitely didn't need 4 weeks to see how they perform. Simply admit it - you listed to crying minority, maybe being afraid that they would leave the game. Funny, how so much more ppl already left and unsubbed following your last patch. - "There isn’t a flat % that healing was reduced by." What a tricky choice of words. Maybe the % does depend on level, Influence, level sync, etc BUT you can safely say it's AT LEAST 60% lower now. People already tested and posted numbers - go check 'em. - "Will your Companions feel a bit weaker than they did when KotFE launched? Yes." No, no, no.... there is no place for "a bit " in this patch. They are nerfed to the ground. Why lying about it?? IF Eaware really did what they said - tuned comps down a bit, the whole Toxic situation would be avoided. Why they tend to kill/nerf things to the ground - I don't know. I don't really care that much about comps myself like new players. I mostly PVP (since we wait for new story content for ages this is the main thing that keeps me in game) and it doesn't involve companions. But new players may not like the grind, unnecessary deaths that contradict the in-game image of their HERO characters are not fun. They may leave the game for good. Result - swtor's profits fall. Result of that - less resources put in game in future. And that just fastens the circle of quitting-cutting resources and finely shutting the game down. English in not my native, so I apologize for possible mistakes.

  7. LOL, what a pro! Cmon show em all how tough u are. There WAS NEVER ANY CHALLENGE in going thorough story or H2 content. If you wanted challenge u joined HM or Ops or PVP. There is plenty of challenging stuff to choose from. Instead some were simply whining about the thing that was welcomed by majority of player base. Of course eaware did what they always do. Now many do cancel subs -> the game suffers. As profits fall do u think eaware gonna spend more resources on it in future? English in not my native language. hope I made my point clear enough.

  12. sure, this is all fun but, but better fix ur bugs first, so that we could have fun in game, just as we 're supposed to ... Instead of investing so much time and money on media entertainment, they should spend it on the game.
