From my point of view, this change is a complete desaster.
It took us weeks to prepare for every single conquest so far and it was a lot of work to do so as we are a small guild. But it was worth all those weeks as we were able to win the contest.
As as small guild, we will now be out of competition as it is technically impossible to defeat a guild that has just one more member (assuming an equal amount of effort in pvp/pve per person as there is a limit of how much you can do in a single day) - never mind the big guilds with dozens of members (who need only a very small individual effort to win thanks to strength in numbers.)
I'm sure that a lot of people will really like this change, but it will simply add to the power of large guilds that are already favoured by the system in general, as they will always win if they have more people givig the same effort.
As such, this change is completely off and, in no way, remedies the problems of Conquest but simply locks out everyone who is not able to run endless amounts of ops or pvp.
If this decision stands, any crafting will be irrelevant and only number of active members will count (while I can see no reason, why a small number of people spending a lot of effort over weeks should be rewarded less than a large number as the effort to win will be the same just on a different time scale)
And no, not everyone likes to merge into a big anonymous guild just to be able to compete. If this change goes live, we can probably expect that only a handfull of guilds will be able to compete at all while the rest of us will not even be able to pick up the scraps...
Sorry, once again you completely butcher an aspect of the game, effectively improving nothing in respect to the problem you want to solve. (Well from our point of you, you are increasing the problem, not reducing it...)
