me? yes, legally, I have stargaurds disease, a form of juvenile macular degeneration. It's not correctable with glasses and I've had it all my life. I'm sure that by the time I die they'll have a cure but for now I have to use what tools I can find. My visual accusatory 20/300 in both eyes so what I see at 20 feet you see at 300. And to make things even more fun, I have reverse tunnel vision as an added bonus but it's the kind of thing you get used to after having it your entire life. So ya, I kind of need stupid large fonts in games. In wow I got them through an addon called "fontain" that lets you make them pretty much so large that it would break the game for normal people. In forum posts pre launch there were roomers that Bio Ware was going to allow addons so i didn't worry about font so much but now that we've gotten all the way to patch 1.2 I am really getting nervous. The built in Windows magnifier makes teh game playable but I really dont' like having to continually zoom in to read things. please Bio Ware, stupid large fonts (24+)!!!!

Oh, but good news, if what i saw was correct, it looks like font scales with UI size, so there is hope

in windows 7 and vista (not sure about vista) open the start menu and in the search space type "mag" it will bring up a built in magnifier option. XP and earlier do not have it.

I have had to use the built in windows magnifire so far, larger font sizes for UI would be amazing!

I posted something like this before and during the bata but I'd like to go ahead and post again because I haven't' seen it specifically addressed. I am a person that suffers from macular degeneration and would be incredibly grateful if the upcoming UI changes would allow for larger font, sizes 24+. I'd like to see swoop bike races like back in KOTOR and I'd like to have the ability to bet on the winners. I'd also like the ability to place bets on hutball matches. Finaly, if arena type matches are available, I'd like the ability to watch them as a spectator and place bets on them.

I think it could be an interesting addition to include some sort of investment option or lending. A play could put up a sum of money to be lent for other players and it could be paid back with specified interest from loot. Or perhaps one play could "invest" in another player who is making or gathering goods and selling them on the GTN. The investor could perhaps get a percentage of sales or something. I Odin' know how it would necessarily work, but I would like more passive type options for making money. Something that gives larger rewards for those who spend the time doing the work and rewards an investor for up fronting the money but with built in protections for both paties involved.

Well, look at the flip side of that. If I'm going up against 2-5 operatives in a WZ and they are gibbing people before I can heal them, whats the point of healing at all? There needs to be some balance, not just a gib fest. And with over 74 pages of complaints, apparently I'm not the only one who thiks so.

I'm a decent healer and operatives are killing people before I can get more than a single heal off. They need to do some math to tone that crap down.

With wins as hard as they are to get against the sith, I've had this happen to me and it is very anoying!

I'm seing something developing that seems almost destined to happen in MMO PVP. Those who had the most time to grind to 50 and get geared are dominating pvp. Transpacific on Dark Reaper, I've begun to encounter full groups of almost completely geared opponents. I am completely unable to comment on one class or another being OP becouse the gear is so disproportionately high on the opposing side that I don't know if I am getting two shotted because of OP or my relatively poor gear. There needs to be a gear matching system so that the teams are moderately well matched. Personally, I would like a win loss ratio component to this as well so that people of relatively equal skill face off against one another but that other fantasy MMO never did that so I don’t' expect it. So, bring on the trolls, yes, I'm not that great, no I probably never will be, but I enjoy pvp. I would just like to play against people relatively close to my level not the hard core pvper's. They are the best and they should be playing against the best.
