  1. Now that is awesome. On an older server I had used T7 the entire story line so his gear was always up do date, making the final fight super easy. On my new server, playing a guardian, I use Kira mostly, and my T7 is hurting for gear. Its great to know that they had this in mind when they created the story line, however completely pointless if you have to rezone to even get the items in the box. Now I can focus on gearing myself/kira instead of T7 and hopefully my puzzle doesn't bug and I can just use that gear. Also, not to continue this off topic trend- the emperor is easy. I've seen the force leap bug before. But like I said my T7 was geared and all i had to do was aoe and make sure I had my dots going.
  2. I agree with the OP. With the addition of better gear, the achievement doesn't hold the same value post 1.2. I don't have the titles, nor have I even attempted any ops (I've been playing since launch), but I feel that we should recognize those who have before new better items were implemented. Also its a nod to those who were there from the start (like our Founder title). So yea, get rid of them, and let the ones who got it keep theirs. *edit- Also, they should definitely add new titles to newer ops so then everyone can get a chance at "EPIC" titles up until the next wave of new gear/ops.
  3. I do think that more outfits should have more gender options. I notice with the force users especially that some chest pieces show the belly off on the ladies. How 'bout a few that show the chest off on a male? A male's slave set would probably be the best vanity option. As far as body types, there should be a "fatter" female body type. 1 and 2 are really close to each other. And as far as obese being unreasonable- you can totally be a smuggler who never actually does the labor or a sith who indulges a little too much and uses the force to lift the remote. If you eat more than you burn in calories, you're still gonna put on weight. So, I vote yes on a fatty, and yes on objectifying males.
  4. I play a defense/vigilance spec (14/27?) and I think i do alright in both dps and in tanking. However going full spec either way- I'd probably do amazing. In the end- its the style of play and story you want to really consider. If you like throwing rocks and politics around- sage. If you like leaping into battle and screaming "come at me bro!" go knight.
  5. Watchman spec heals you when you crit on your burns. So when I play mine, I usually do crit/surge. But I've only played Watchman. I'd imagine the other specs (especially Combat) would rely more on power. But again this is speculation.
  6. Another player asking for handouts. The first 50 I had was always 2 or 3 levels above each planet I went to. Even as I leveled up an alt- that one ended up a level or 2 even after skipping planets. So this time around- I don't do space missions, I skip most of the side missions and just do War Zones, Class quests, and the planet's main quest line. Now the game is actually a challenge (I've died so much more as an at level guardian than as the smuggler and sentinel combined).
  7. What I found disheartening was that it wasn't implemented at launch- the really wanted to play a gay Jedi T_T I don't feel a connection to any of the characters personally. I've been playing since launch and have yet to try any real romance stories because I'm just not feeling it. Also if I have to pay for gay- I probably won't and just never come back. don't make me do that.
  8. They might had wanted to stay away from 10 guys beating up 1 mean baddie but then they realized they would be making a 1 player game- not an MMO. There are a few world quests where you get to fight hordes of enemies or one tough one. They're in there, its just not to the level we like.
  9. I just wanted to know if there was more to him because I just need to KNOW!
  10. I found this class to be pretty awesome. Smuggler =/= han solo. Han solo == smuggler. To me the smuggler class is exactly what its suppose to be. Han solo might not like being sneaky in a gun fight, but his job is to SNEAK the system to get contraband from a to b. Which is really represented by the stealth mechanic. The cover mechanic (I rebound some keys around and I never have a problem with it) really makes me feel like I'm in a gun fight avoiding flying rocks, lighting and bullets. So i like it. I liked the story. It doesn't really force you into the pure LS or pure DS aspect like all of empire story lines do (and the two jedi story lines). The companions are some of the most unique (Gus is hilarious, Wookie!!!!!) So as for story- Its up there. I really don't see your problem. If you hate the smuggler don't play the smuggler. I don't like the Empire's story so I avoid it. I can't stand the BH story... there's nothing really amazing about it. Ooo i can shoot tracer missile and go boom (which is kinda cool but gets old) But smugglers- they become privateers!!! How awesome. Play the style and story you like- don't come here and complain about it making it sound worse. Its not bad, just not your style. Go play empire.
  11. Yea- theres the nerf. Also- you aren't playing your op completely right in huttball. You can stealth so either go around looking for people who are running around solo or are waiting for a pass, if not that you can sneak ahead and wait till the BC is near you so that when you unstealth he passes to you and bam easy score. Stop complaining- everyone complains. PVP ruins the game.
  12. Any idea how much buying a race would cost? I would rather buy one than level up anything empire (I just want a chiss but hate the accents and the BH class to bring it up to 50) however... if it comes down to me buying one and its expensive- i might just level one up.
  13. the only time i've seen it changed colors is during the transition of combat to out of combat (vice versa). I'm not too sure but maybe even from attacking to not attacking. But like it was mentioned it has to do with the cell you have turned on.
  14. No that is a wrong move- when you buff the enemies you end up with huge dmg spikes which is alot worse. Do you want to see tanks go from 100% to 30% in just 2 hits?
