  1. It does seem when Harbinger gets FULL it crashes and then the rest of the servers get FULL when people log in to them after being aborted. Look at Asia and Europe, not much use at all. Like it or not I'd throw another west coast and east coast PVE server in the mix. PVP is not as popular and can stand on their own for now. RP servers are very heavy but not FULL yet. Harbinger is down right now. Bergeren went up to FULL, folks are getting frustrated and playing a different server. Jedi Covenant is full as well. PSTs will play on the ESTs PVE if they have no other choice. Still the PVP servers haven't changed, east and west coast show HEAVY. OK, Harbinger is back up. Probably took 15 minutes for a total restart. Begeren Colony went down to VERY HEAVY in just a few minutes. It's RP PST. That's it, no more FULL servers. So much for watching, I'm going back in. It's a fun game, give us room to play it.
  2. It works much like WoW quests where you operate some moving construct of sorts like a flying balloon dropping bombs or on a flying creature. I think the final quest in booty bay had a flying sequence of some sorts, worked very much like space combat in SWTOR. If BW went backward then what lies forward? SWTOR gets you to the action with plenty of options where to shoot. You could not fly to the hotspot any quicker nor navigate any better once there. I think asking for free style navigation is too much because of the extra dimension in space. Obviously space combat was made to look like the classic battle at Endor and it does. You just couldn't duplicate those maneuvers, it would be dumb. If anything take away the need to fly around asteroids and other obstacles.
  3. I was born here, an I was raised here, and dad gum it, I am gonna die here, an no sidewindin' bushwackin', hornswagglin' programmer is gonna ruin me starship by wipin' my nose like my ol' mother. Dad gum it my other companions don't go spout'in off like a yard full'o jaybirds why should he unless o course someone else might want 'em to.
  4. One client cannot create things and work the galatic network kiosk very easily. Managing a guild might prove having a 2nd client. I see his point in this. a second client does make it easier.
  5. I think we already know that dual boxing means running two machines. dual instancing means running two clients on one box no follow? try using WASD on one machine and arrow keys on the other i stagger my keyboards about halfway from each other and run both mice on a big pad to the right. my left hand does the wasd chr and my right the arrows the other chr. I probably will always run the wrong way sometimes, usually not into trouble though. sometimes you don't stay on the same path but it's not too bad. once you get going like on speeders it's ok, you'll drift a little. two monitors obviously a must. doing heroic 2 got to be difficult past taris but every class quest and all normal quests can be done without looking for a group. Some heroic 2 seemed way harder than others like the one on nar shaddah in the 1st area. there were 2 yellow star and 2 white star and I just couldn't get past them. I didn't really try to hard though, couple times. level 40 now and it's the same as it was back at level 10. doable I mean, fun. I'm just playing the game. I dual boxed nearly every mmo. it's fun challenge.
  6. I tried this mission with a fairly good machine and completed it. Sliver of health. I tried this on my machine with lesser processor and memory. Failed every time. Does your ships blaster lag after continuous use and start going slower? My lesser machine's does, but the blaster does not lag on the newer machine. As far as the mission on the slow machine, I always lose a second or so after it comes out of the asteroid area. Some kind of bug due to computer's horsepower? Every other space mission within my level on both machines I win just fine, so far anyway.
