  1. Wow! Very nice info! I'm going to start reading these guides from now. You're the best!
  2. Before I begin, let me do a little ***-kissing. You guys are all great, smart, funny, and very good looking! Now to my questions. I've been playing swtor since open Beta, and have only ever played DPS and Tank. I have very little experience as a healer. Now, I want to equip my Merc for healing and practice with some hard mode FPs. I'm just not very good at healing though. All I know is to press F1-F4 keys to target a team member to heal them, but how would that work for Ops where you have 8 or 16 people? If any of you can give me any pointers on how to be a more effective PvE healer, I would appreciate it. I also heard that I should have half of my augments be crit, and the other half be alacrity. Is this a good build? If I do have these augments, what are some good mods and enhancements I should slot? Should I even worry about accuracy as a healer? If I do off-damage in Ops, what should my accuracy be coming in at? Again, appreciate you taking the time to read this.
  3. It's good to know that power isn't all that useful for Sorc heals. I'll get crit up to about 40%, then slot alacrity. See how that works. Thanks for the info!
  4. This is something I didn't know anything about. So, there doesn't seem to be any downside to alacrity besides hitting the soft cap. Thanks for the heads up!
  5. A lot of useful info. I'll try the same build. Thanks for the info!
  6. I'm rolling a sorc healer for the 1st time. I usually play DPS/Tank, so I'm kind of new to healing. I was thinking about getting alacrity augments to make myself a faster healer, but that brings up 2 potential problems: 1. If I hit the soft cap, and I buy too many alacrity augments, I'll be wasting the augment slot when I could slot for more power. 2. If I do get more alacrity, and heal faster, I may run out of force points too fast. So, should I focus on alacrity, or just slot all my augments with power, where there is no soft cap, and overall heals will be more powerful? I've always slotted power augments with DPS, and tried to keep balance between shield/absorption/defense for tanks, and haven't had any problems. Your input is appreciated!
  7. Besides the lackluster community online, with the barrage of gamereasy spam in general and our inboxes, and noobish/ignorant players constantly dropping out of group finder FPs, the developer community has been pretty solid. In the past, they have encouraged star wars versions of holidays, as well as poking fun of social media with new emotes. I was kind of looking forward to the SWTOR April Fools joke this year, but nothing. A little disappointing. Does this portend an early demise to our beloved game, or is it a super meta joke that the april fools joke is not actually having one?
  8. Wow, last response was in 2012..... Anyway, found this. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Reproduction Hope it helps.
