  1. I think SWTOR probably represents the strongest disinterest in hardcore raiding or general competitive behavior in the market. Raids are currently relatively overtuned in terms of numbers, but the difficulty of most NiMs or rather Master Modes are fairly easy. In addition, most raids are already very old and well known. I have a hard time imagining a person who finds SWTOR too elite/challenging. For such people, the way to work would even have to be a death struggle.
  2. cross-class tactical items: - Permanently increased movement speed by x%. - Permanently increased vehicle speed by x%. - Permanently increased jump height and range - Strongly reduced character size, reduced damage values, reduced defense values, greatly increased movement speed Madness: - Affliction also applies Creeping Terror - The Area of Effect radius of Death Field is increased by x%. Targets hit by Death Field receive 20 charges of Deathmark. - The Area of Effect radius of Death Field is reduced by x%. The damage is increased by x%. - Recklessness becomes Dread Mastering. Besides applying a damage over time effect Creeping Terror and Affliction are also dealing x damage on impact (the overall dot-damage as an additional instant damage). Lightning: - Crushing Darkness can be applied while moving. The Casttime is reduced by x%. - Chain Lightning hits up to x additional targets and the Area of Effect radius is increased by x%. Damage is reduced by x%. - Chain Lightning becomes Concentrated Lightning. Concentrated Lightning hits one target for x to x internal damage. - Force Lightning can be used while moving. - Force Storm hits x additional targets for x to x damage up to 6 times. The time to channel Force Storm is increased by 100%.
  3. After a very long break, I have now returned to this game. I've been playing Sorcerer as main character since release. In many periods of the game I decided to distribute my stats contrary to the usual meta. In most cases I was right with my decision. Especially at the Progress time of Ravergers and Temple of Sacrifice I led almost every leaderboard until my departure. Since 6.0 will be released soon, I don't want to open a big barrel at this point. I usually assume that the proposed "best in slot" stat distributions are based on pure dummy dps or no movement single target dps. At least that's how it was in the past. If this is the case, the stat distribution is not optimal for mechanic-heavy encounters or nightmare rading in general. From release until my big break around Revan HC, i.e. over several patches, it was always better in practice to collect as much willpower, force power and attack power as possible besides the accuracy cap. It was always wiser to decide for enhancements and modifications with high ap / low secondary stat roll. The same was true for stims, augments and so on. Since I am quite fresh on board again, the complete itemization of the available items is not yet completely familiar to me. My first questioning thought refers to the alacrity cap. I am quite familiar with the theoretical benefits. However, my questioning again refers to the more practical side. At first sight I see a dps loss when it comes to encounter, where you can't strictly follow your rotation. Especially while working on new encounters on nightmare/master. Every movement, every repositioning, every kind of interaction with a mechanic makes alacrity weaker compared to other stats. My second questioning thought revolves around the selection of the stim. This topic has appeared in every patch since release. According to my "bonus damage first" hypothesis, you should always prefer a stim with mastery or attack power. It was also more bonus damage friendly to get the accuracy cap via enhancements. Everything else like modifications, augments were completely geared towards bonus damage. I would be very happy about detailed knowledge of real good practitioners. May you enlighten me! Edit: It's all about madness...
  5. in this parse i was running 13x willpower augments and 333 or 414 crit rating. I have tested a few different setups, so i am not sure which crit rating i had exactly.
  6. The first release of this game (p2p) was pretty bad. Bad marketing, bad services and a bad bugged game. After 3 months the game was nearly dead. A rescue was needed: decreasing costs, increasing gross. The born of the actual state of this game (pseodo f2p).
  7. Indeed. My crit anomaly parse do not proof anything and it is not representative. I got this parse in a 6 or 7 hour dummy marathon after the nerf. if you have so many tries in a row, some anomalies will be present and in the most cases really bad ones. My average dps was ~4675 (exclusive any kind of anomaly) in full 198 min maxed except hilt. But sorcs and sages are still strong and viable for the current and upcoming content.
  9. Its not only a question of your own performance, its a question of your groups performance. As example, it is a major difference if you are alone or with 2-3 strong aoe classes in this bossfight. The movement/positioning of the tanks is quite important for a good and effective aoe dps as well. A sorc/sage with 5750+ before the nerf, should be able to get 4900+ dps now.
  10. If you run high critrating / critchance, your dps becomes pretty volatile. It is possible to outperform everything, if you have a really good critluck (like me :-P). On the other hand, you can get pretty unlucky and underperform everything (in the most cases). For dummy anomaly hunters, its a nice stat :-). The higher the critchance, the higher the chance of a critluck blessed parse.
