  1. Story bosses usually have a powerful skill that you need to interrupt. Once you get the hang of interrupting those, the fights become trivial. I'm not sure why people recommend getting help from others. That's just the easy way out and you'll never learn to play your character properly.
  2. You can add and remove characters to the tree anytime. So nothing to worry about.
  3. All 3 series have pointer quests on the fleet. Finish your class story and return to the fleet as asked and you will see all 3. Some can be started before that but I usually just wait until class story is done. The Ilum one is actually a decent length planet story arc.
  4. People say this in every gear progression mmo. I wonder why. "Low level PvP is super fun! I can stomp casuals, re-rolls and level 11s! But now that I have to play people with gear it's horrible! I don't want to take the time to acquire the gear myself so I'll just complain on the forums!"
  5. Go in to the keybinds section, movement tab, and see what key you have bound to auto run. Switch it to something else.
  6. Send the item to your next character. He can use it at level 14.
  7. Legacy is about building a family tree with multiple characters over a long time. So yeah, for your first character at low level, there isn't much. Press Y and check out the perks if you want to unlock something. Although I dont think there is anything for legacy level 1.
  8. Seen it twice. Happened to the tank in our rated team. (who definitely doesn't hack). Every time we passed it to him it registered a goal. He was just as confused as everyone else. Opposition starts yelling "nice hack" of course. I think he got knocked down in the endzone and the server just had his position stuck there for some reason.
  9. No, they don't. This is seriously in your head. If your whole team sucks and is getting camped, it isn't because they see you in your recruit gear. So you had a couple bad games against teams that obviously out-geared your team by a lot. So what. Both sides have recruit geared players and a lot have players in PvE greens and random quest blues. Stick it out for 3-4 days and you're in full battlemaster.
  10. Lineage2 for me as well. I didn't play DAOC but it sounds similar. Giant castle sieges with siege weapons. Guilds and alliances working together to defend or attack. Lineage 2 sieges were at set times so basically the whole server showed up and went at it.
  11. The term has been stretched and misused over the years in MMOS and now it's often used as a player type. A 'DPS' is a class with the primary role of dealing damage, as opposed to tanking or healing.
  12. The stuff you get from the vendors before lvl 50 is the same as PvE gear. The level 50 and up PvP armor has an extra stat called expertise on it. This stat is a direct increase to damage and reduction to dmg received during PvP. The gear still works fine in PvE, but the expertise will do nothing, And because some of the item's stat budget is used for expertise, the other stats will be lower than a pure PvE piece of the same item level. (typically)
  13. 7 months and hundreds of thousands of warzones later. No one has ever captured proof of being stunned with a full resolve bar.
  14. Lots of schems on the GTN. You need to start with the green version and then RE for the blue one. Then RE the blues for the purple.
