You should be more worried about Accuracy than Alacrity for Form 7. You cannot afford to miss a DoT in that form or your dps goes way down. In PvP, Accuracy is still important to Form 7 users because most form 3 and Shadows/Sages have high defense values. So you need more Accuracy than you think for PvP. Form 7 "will give up landing a powerful blow, for an accurate blow". If you truely want a better understanding of the Forms we use in this game, seriously read up on the lore about the forms. If you do youll see the forms in a different light than the traditional MMO dps specs everyone on these forums are trying to make.

form 4 is all about speed. You want to attack blindingly fast. So that your enemy is overwhelmed by the value of strikes and slashes he leaves himself open. Form 4 concentrate on Speed with power. In this game you can recreate lore with Alacrity and Power or Alacrity and Crit. Howerver ive notice that splitting your stats up into 2 or 3 categories isnt always the best. Sometimes its just better to stack one. The stats in this game can be misleading like that. In lore, you picked a form based on what best suited you. This being a game a lot of people want to spread their stats across the board to be a balance dps by min/max stats. In lore you went with just one 'stat' and you used it or you switched into a different form for the situation.

Form 5 is all about breaking ones defense through sheer power and strength. In this game thats represented in Crit and Acc or Power and Acc. Even Acc i believe is misleading for a form 5 user in which Acc works. Lowering ones chances to guard vs an attack. That really doesnt work for a form 5 since if they were blocked parried or missed an attack they auto counter it. always pressing the attack. So missing was not always a problem since they follow up a miss with another quick attack. However, landing a powerful blow to knock an enemy off balance is up their alley more than making sure they scored a hit.

W/ 186 gear I have 15% alacrity. All enhancements and augs. With power mods. With my alacrity, my MS is 16.6 CD w 2.62 channel. If I zen, my CD 12 sec CD 2.06 channel. However using, TsT,FL,Cyclone,ZS,PS,CB,BR, MS, DIspatch. I don't need zen if I wait for aturu attack animation to trigger. Thar 15% alacrity allows me to maintain that rotation and use Trans instead of Zen.

You can buy defense enhancements on your fleet. I believe they are lvl 39. You're at the point where the game starts to give you options for your class. Should have been getting some upgrades from certain missions you've completed also. The posters above are correct that you don't get many options to upgrade. If you do you're stuck with low lvl mods and enhancements for lvl40+ content.

Shien: Force Leap, SunderingStrike, Plasma Brand, Overhand Slash, Force Sweep, Saber Ward, Master Strike, Blade Storm, Dispatch. Rinse and repeat. Soresu: Saber Throw , Force Leap, Sundering Strike, Plasma Brand, Overhand Slash, Force Sweep, Saber Ward, Masterstrike, Blade Storm, Riposte, Combat Focuse, Repeat rotation. You do that you aren't waiting on CD if you don't try to spam the crap out of the ability.

I just reference lore when it comes to augments. Power being your ability to use the force, Might is melee and so on. Try connecting augs, mods and class to lore and building your character is easier than you think.

If your 2nd is going deception than he should be a single target dps. They should wait in the shadows until you are ready for them to start dps. At lvl 38 in using Force Charge, Smash, Force Scream, Aegis, Crushing Blow. Using riposte anytime before Crushing Blow then after it to keep defense buff up. Master Strike, Unleashed, Disruption and Force Choke I keep for CC/breaks or finishers. With Quin I can Solo anything using those 4-6 abilities. Allows me to easily keep buffs and debuff a up.

I'm ok with it being on the GCD. It's our spam attack with a buff. Just don't see why it needs to be free. We aren't focus deprived. Once you start using attacks For dmg purpose / zero benefits you're getting away from tanking and into dps.

i think Riposte should be changed. I don't think it should be free since its our attack. Shien should get free riposte when they miss to continue to press the attack but we use it every time it's up for buff. We have plenty of focus to burn.

It's so you can time your Force Push. Gives you enough time to ready yourself before the mob is ready to attack. Start using Force Choke/push combo.

Lvl 32 so I don't have all the abilities. This rotation seems to work for me, like to see a high lvl try it and obviously add to it. Force Leap, Cyclone, (Riposte), Warding Strike, Guardian Slash, Saber Ward, Force Sweep, then I go into a single target attack. Slash, Riposte, Blade Storm, Master Strike. (Riposte) = if up. You should be able to string those together and even get another AoE rotation in without Force Leap. Haven't been in a fight that required another single target rotation yet. I think I'd do Force Leap, Freezing force, cyclone, (riposte) , warding strike, guardian slash, saber ward, force sweep, slash, riposte, blade storm, master strike, hilt strike , stasis, force push, saber reflect.

Question: do you guys think it's better to use Percision with Master Strike or 2-3 abilities to up their dps instead?

I give you credit for looking for a Master. Only thing here you'll find is insults and false knowledge.

Lol. Thanks for the insult. Gotta love people who dislike being confronted with change. Never said replace riposte with one of your abilities. I said, look at the change they made. If you miss you can use it to make up the dps you loss. I said also, Acc is isn't a prime stat you should be stacking. If you feel Acc is key for Shien/Djem So you're wrong. If you're stacking Acc over Power Strenth Crit or Surge go play a Juyo/Aturu user since they require it. So many people on these forums using the wrong forms and cry about dps and its know wonder why. PS. Grand lord who said anything about Focus tree? Post is Vig. Thanks for calling me an idiot.
