  1. I keep seeing command level from information on the site and from others that display it, but I have no idea how to access it within the game, or even if they decided to get rid of it. Can anyone point to me how to access it (if it's in use) or give some information about what happened? I've been out of the game for a couple of years and just came back. Trying to enjoy all parts of the game that are available.
  2. I started a new character on a server I don't normally play cause I wanted to start over my Legacy from scratch. It's been kind of fun to be a noob again. However, I would like to bring one of my characters over (with tons of my opened pack stuff as I don't play on the old server any more). But last time I moved over a character, it turned the Legacy from 5 to 50 almost instantly, as well as all of the reputation and anything my other legacy had accomplished on the previous server. As I'm trying to start that stuff over, I'm curious if there's any way to just bring the character and stuff rather than its Legacy and reputation as well. Part of the fun has been starting that stuff over.
  3. I'll have to check those out. Thanks for responding. Like yesterday, I was doing a mission on my trooper where I was having clear out an imperial ship and I started to notice that there were huge areas of the ship that the mission didn't focus on, and I started wondering what was in those areas. So I ran around and found a couple of enemies that were doing all sorts of assorted things. Nothing fascinating, but at the same time it was a part of the ship that the game doesn't really give you a reason to go to, other than to kill enemies to rack up numbers. And I also noticed totally unused areas of the ship also, which just kind of got me to wondering if there was originally a purpose for them that they didn't use, or if they would have been used had I chosen a different path in the dialogue spoken to npcs before getting into battle.
  4. The one keybind I would like (and macro) is one where I can say my signature phrase, like if I have a Jedi character say something like "I am a jedi, like my 14 characters before me!" Stupid stuff like that.
  5. For those who may remember, I used to make one of these threads every now and then, designed to find out secret areas in the game people have found, strange interactions with npcs, or just anything interesting that you weren't expecting. So, as it has been quite some time since I've seen one of these threads (or made one), and the main threads all appear to be nonstop complaint threads, I thought I'd put forth another one, and see if perhaps people are finding new things. First off, there have been a bunch of expansions and new planets since the earlier ones of these threads were posted. So, we have numerous areas that are quite capable of having little off the beaten path little areas that might be of interest. Now, I know a lot of people play this game specifically on the rails and don't venture out too much, so maybe this sort of thing isn't for you. But I know there are a lot of people like me who like to explore and find things that just seem a bit odd. An example: I was running around in Quesh the other day, and I was kind of bored, so I was wandering around the palace of the main bad guy when I wandered into the pit area (that's pretty similar to the pit area you run into when on Hutta). Only, this time I discovered there was a ramp going down under the pit. And there's a huge area with more mobs you can fight your way through until you end up on the other side of the palace, where there's a tunnel that takes you back out onto the main map again. I don't know how many times I've been on this map and never realized this little spot was here. I'm guessing it was here as an alternative way to break into the palace, but who knows? Any finds from some of the new spots in the game? Or want to share any of the older ones you've found and still like to check out?
  6. I tend to agree. I am personally having fun in the game and generally don't have a lot to say on the boards because I don't have that many complaints. There are a couple of things I'd like to see improved, but that hasn't stopped me from playing each and every night when I get home from work. For me, what the game needs is more reason to do things that aren't the same grind over and over again. For that, you need events. One thing I always thought would be interesting to add to the game is exploration missions where they hide certain thing in the game and you get decent rewards for finding them. Perhaps even add clues throughout the universe that lead you on a bit of a scavenger hunt to find these things. That sort of thing would keep my interest, especially after I've maxed out and geared yet another character.
  7. Look, I understand the botters cause all sorts of problems, but at the same time slicing is fun for those who do it. I know I love it because there's a certain sense of both profit and instant gratification that comes from slicing a node and then knowing you're getting a bit of money for doing it. It's not outrageous profit, but it's like playing the slots in Vegas and coming out slightly ahead. It creates its own sense of fun. Unfortunately, there are those creating systems to completely profit from this which takes away from the instant gratification thrill that those of us are achieving by doing this sort of thing. As others have pointed out before, there are much better ways to profit in this game and those have their own fun modes built into them as well. There does seem to be a sense of "if I don't like your fun, then it needs to be nerfed" attitude on these boards, which is really sad.
  8. The legacy transfers over, but you have to unlock everything again on the new server.
  9. A few days ago, I noticed the amount of people trying to get sicing nodes on both Yavin IV and Zakuul to be outrageously ridiculous. I was on Zakuul actually doing mission stuff, and there were people driving by me towards nodes that were right in front of me CONSTANTLY. This isn't really a complaint or even a call to action, but wow it was extremely annoying with the amount of people who were trying to get at each and every node.
  10. I was on Yavin IV last night and was shocked at the number of bots that were literally invisible until a slicing node appeared, to which they would then reappear, slice it and then disappear again. I was running around a short area of the grounds and just kept seeing it over and over again with different bots. I managed to get one slicing node (only because I happened to be right on top of it when it appeared) and got it a second before the invisible bot reappeared and tried to slice it right while I was slicing it. What needs to be done (if anything) is attention being paid to the bots that are camping these areas. I mean, how hard should it be to see that one character has been in place for hours and doing nothing but slicing the same node? Nerfing the nodes only hurts the players who are actually there playing the game.
  11. I have one character who found Noc Drayen's fortune (he's famous for that find...you may have heard of him), so I would imagine he's gotta be pretty rich.
  12. That's why I said you have to watch him. He's doing nefarious things on ships he shouldn't even be on....
  13. I always thought it was Blizz doing things when no one was watching. You really gotta watch that little guy.
  14. I opened 30 packs, and oh my god, I got so many grand chance cubes and almost nothing else. All that has done is convince me that I will buy no more cartel packs going forward (and I used to buy a LOT of them).
  15. I was glad I did my legendary leveling all the way through on each character because it really felt like an accomplishment. Some of the stories are more involved than others. My favorite story is still the smuggler's, mainly because I love how sarcastic he/she is with every encounter.
