  1. Vaylin would make a good romance for pure darkside characters, especially since Jaesa is unlikely to return.
  2. Is it really capture the flag style? Sounds awesome. I know it has nothing to do with their decision but when i last unsubed for a long time i put in the reason why that it would be good if there were more warzones such as CTF and King of the Hill so if the next one is CTF that is great news.
  3. I know nobody cares but i canceled by sub also. I'll be back eventually, hope companions are better when i am.
  4. I'm pretty sure it's only for cut scenes. In the same way that in Mass Effect you never used biotics in cut scenes or weapons other than pistol/assault rifle. It's cheaper for them to just animate one fight for lightsaber users and one fight for non lightsaber users. It's not something new.
  5. Force push has been quite useful to me in PVP, particularly in helping allies. For instance, i see an enemy pounding on an ally such as the healer. I force push the enemy and than jump to him and use force choke, locking him into the place which buys the healer time to set themselves up. I than use ravage once force choke is done to hold them into place even more. If they are not dead, it bought the ally a lot of time to recover. I use it alot to get some heat off of healers.
  6. Have you tried actually leveling yet? I been leveling 3 characters from scratch and it's going damn quick and the story feels nice (only doing purple quests). With the companions being super strong+ability to make your first companion healer i'm plowing through and having no trouble leveling quickly.
  7. I'll join in on the love fest. I've been playing on and off (mostly off) since launch and my highest level character is 50 (confirmed noob). I'm loving leveling characters right now. Love that i can make any companion a healer so can use the ones i want all the time (FU Quinn!). I love that i can just put whatever i want on my companions for looks and not worry about stats. I love that the companion conversations no longer require giving them a bunch of gifts to progress. It feels so much more natural now. I've seen videos of KOTFE story and i'm blown away. Thank you Bioware. Now just let us have black eyebrows and give some love to the PVP community and everything would be perfect.
  8. There is no such thing as a bad story and a good story. The beauty is everybody has their own opinions. For instance: The Trooper story is in my top 3 despite it being towards the bottom for most other people since launch. I also find the Imperial Agent over rated (though still enjoy it a lot). I also think the consular is actually quite a good story.
  9. I think they are saving most romancable companions for later to give the players a chance to get to know/possibly romance one of the new people including Lana.
  10. Try to cancel the entire quest chain so you can restart it. Just re read your post. Why can't you reset the entire thing?
  11. I just recently started playing again and have a couple characters who are lower level but have a good amount of money put into them with adaptive gear that i want to continue but seem to have played them a different way than i want to now. What i mean is: I have a sith inquisitor who has 400 lightside points and 50 dark about to go to Nar Shadda. I want to play a darkside Inquisitor, if i play darkside from here on out would i be able to pull it off or while lightside decisions from Korriban-DK-Bel make a difference? Similar situation with Sith Warrior. Mostly lightside, about to enter NS and i want to play him dark.
  12. For what you haven't done, i've found the Trooper story to be surprisingly really fun. Since launch all i kept hearing is it's one of the bland ones but i really enjoy it. You'll love it if you like the idea of just being a grunt, a soldier and the moral dileme that comes with where do your loyalties truly lie? The commanding officer/ military that trains/pays you with their agenda? The senators/government you swore to protect with their agenda? Or the citizens of the government you swore to protect who are ignorant as to what is really going on but also innocent? It's a constant choice being thrown at you. I like smuggler Chapter 1 but found it bad after that. Inquisitor is fun in an ultimate power kind of way Consular is fun if you like the real idea of being a Jedi and politics/diplomacy. Bounty Hunter i don't like but the companions are great.
