  1. Me too. Lag makes the game unplayable since this morning with 6.1.1. and I am not sure BW is even aware of the issue.
  2. This tactical doesn't seem to be working. Anyone else having this issue?
  3. The pvp tactical for sharpshooter increases Aimed Shot damage 30% and makes it instant cast when you use your roll or hololocate. Combine that with your 100% crit ability on aim shot and that is how people are getting 80-90k. Those are super crits. Either Foothold or Precise Targeter is viable but it really depends on your playstyle. I prefer Precise Targeter in pvp personally. I like the 3 super crits more than the 15% increase while bunkered. Honestly I think you just need more time on the class. And I wouldn't worry too much about AoE dot spreading stat padding players.
  4. Well I enjoy both classes. Shadow uses a lightsaber and has more CC ability than a scoundrel. Shadow right now also has insanely high burst as deception and double stealth. Why not play both and see which one you think is better. That is all that matters.
  5. Honestly the fastest way to gear is MM flashpoints. Pvp rewards are pretty bad right now.
  6. What spec and tactical are you running? Sharpshooter/MM is best for pvp I think. When sins or ops get on me I dont run. I stay in cover and use my defensive cooldowns. Pop your diversion on them as soon as you can. Use entrench, take your pvp medpack and adrenal once you are out of stun. Use your knockbacks (penetrating blasts can be talented for a knockback and with sniper volley you can reset the cooldown immediately) and remember that you basically have two charges of shield probe and evasion. If no defensives are up use hololocate and run. (Gives 10% heal.if talented) I also play both operative and assassin and yeah they are over performing lol.
  7. I love playing my Bounty Hunter. Jugg not as much. However for tanking Jugg has more active cooldowns
  8. A lot of people run MM (Sharpshooter) in PvP and PvE. I run virulence (Dirty fighting) (old lethality) in both because I'm more comfortable with it and with certain tacticals it can be quite bursty. Nothing is more bursty than MM however if that is how you want to play. MM is probably the fastest for leveling although you might can pull more mobs with engineering and it's higher AoE. Important thing to note is that amplifiers boost your damage considerably. I run periodic intensity for dot specs and armor pen for weapon damage specs.
  9. Those are really just two choices. The real question is do you want to feel stationary and tanky or do you want to have heals? Given that you hate military bros sounds like sniper or gunslinger is the way to go
  10. Your gear drops from all content will continue to rise until you are 306. Then you will need to start taking armors and mods and enhancements you want and put them in the gear set bonus shells. (1 mil credits and 3000 techfrags each)
  11. I'm not a pro player by any means but augments depend on how you want your toon to perform. On Marauder and MM in pve you want 110% hit and at the least enough alacrity to get to 1.4 global cooldown. Then I would maximize crit. If all your enhancements are alacrity then augment crit. If your enhancements are crit then augment alacrity. I dont typically augment mastery. For Tech using classes I still roll the 110% hit and then I augment crit. For Sages and Sorcs I see a lot of people running full on alacrity.
  12. Well, it seems as though less people are playing PvP. I can't blame them, the game is clearly dying. SWTOR is a laggy, buggy, unbalanced, and broken mess. F2P this soon means EA is most likely pulling the plug and this game will go just like WAR did. Shame, as it has a ton of potential but there are too many games out right now that do everything SWTOR does much better.
  13. First off I always enjoy your videos. People think the class is terrible because it is. You have remodded all your gear obviously and it looks cool to kill noob sorcs with 5k crits. However, a PT, sniper , or Mara with that level of gear against those same noobs but be killing them in 2-3 seconds instead of 5-6 seconds. A sniper with 1800 cunning and 800 power would be getting 7k ambushes and 5k follow through on those targets. I don't play a PT but I am sure a railshot would be critting those guys for around the same as ambush. My point is, that after buying 3 full sets of war hero gear you are slightly above average at killing lower geared low armor targets. That is why people mostly quit playing operatives.
  14. Think you would be hard pressed to find a merc or a concealment 700k damage picture.

    nerf snipers

Let me see if I understand this. Snipers do a ton of damage if allowed to free cast on people. (duh) Snipers are hard countered by assassins and operatives. Since DPS operatives are almost extinct and assassins just got nerfed pretty hard, snipers are disturbing the food chain now. Is this your complaint? Snipers are incredibly easy to kill, LOS, and generally render ineffective. MM snipers do terrible damage against tanks and they are super squishy and immobile. Engineering snipers are great at stopping caps with plasma probe (broken really) and are a little tankier with ballistic dampening but are again immobile. Lethality is probably their best overall spec for pressure but they are pretty screwed when facing a team that is competent about dispels. Now, snipers do seem to kill PTs and marauders. So ironic that snipers are "op" because they kill PTs and marauders. The solution seems obvious to me: Buff DPS assassins and operatives. Nerf marauders and PTs so that when they die it's not because of some egregious OP class but rather, they got outplayed. leave snipers alone.
