  1. He did not say the pack was complete, he said the cubes are. I have already pointed out that if they really did not want to put the next set of cubes into the next set of packs they simply wouldn't. They have many different ways they could still get the cubes (since already made) into the game. You obviously have never done any programing at all. It indeed is sometimes exactly as easy as just deleting lines of code with maybe a minor tweak here or there. Especially since we are talking about 4? individual items in random packs that are most likely either preset into various configurations or each category "rolls a dice" for each pack when its opened/generated. If preset configurations, simply altering or removing the presets with the cubes would be simple enough. If random rolls, just messing with the %'s and making the cubes 0% would probably do it. Of course if the packs are not even done yet, which i doubt they were a couple weeks back, they would simply just not have to include the cubes at all. An Analogy with colored bricks, maybe i have seen it all. heh. If they really did care what people thought why not simply do some polls/discussions and find out what people thought b4 going about and pissing a lot of them off? Or if they do try something like the cubes set them up to be a one time thing instead of just saying "Welp if they don't quit the first time we put cubes in they wont quit when we do it a 2nd time. So lets set it up initially to run twice then we can say its already done if there is back lash. " While random packs leave a bit of a dirty taste in my mouth, i have to agree they are very up front about whats in them and that they are indeed random. So clearly not a scam even if they can feel like it a bit after you open your 10th pack and didn't get that 1 item you wanted. heh. Yes i agree about them taking a spot in the random pack being an issue as well. The issue that actually kept me from buying any of the last pack, and if nothing is changed this next one as well.
  2. Hm, i must of missed when they said the next pack was already completed, where did you get this information from? Claiming you need someone that knows code to refute something is silly, as only a person with actual knowledge of this games coding would know how much work not putting the cubes in the next pack would be, if any. There is only one thing you need to know about programing, EVERYTHING can be changed. It just comes down to how much work it would be, sometimes all you literally have to do to remove something is delete lines of code.
  3. Are you trying to say they have to be release in cartel packs? So your saying that they couldn't just add them as a drop to some ops/fp boss rewards, or even as something you can buy for say 50 basic coms? My qualification would be common sense. Did you not read the response from Eric stating that they did this in order to test the waters to see if they could get away with putting it into the market. That if it had been okay they then would of taken it a step farther and if that was still ok, keep pushing it to the point of subs having to buy every single piece of content thru the market? Most people are not upset about this because its a tiny cs from a small cube, they are upset with it because if permitted it sets a precedent for more and more content to have to be bought above ones sub fee. Content that we were promised we would always have access to with no extra cost when f2p went live.
  4. There is no reason they have to be released in cartel packs again, assuming they don't want them to be. We sure don't. I am starting to feel like a battered wife, coming back after he promises he wont hit me any more. You know, until next time that is.
  5. Right.. because they would just hate the idea of making another 25 or 40-50 based on a players whim. Why do you think people will just be server hopping all willy nilly? In the us we have 8 servers with only 2 being of the same type on the same coast. People could get bored of one type or just want to try another, (or like myself now be permanently closer to the coast we didn't start on) but when the alternative to this could just be to simply stop playing why shouldn't there be a affordable legacy transfer? The guild mates i've talked to about this feel the same way, they could never just up and leave behind a dozen or so characters that they have taken time to level and customize. Most assuredly they will never plop down 200-300 bucks just to change servers, we would simply quit playing first.
  6. Your reading comprehension needs work, I didn't saying anything about it being a bad server, I said that the server is now permanently on the wrong coast, and who wouldn't rather have 40 latency than 110?
  7. While just that many cartel coins for a single toon may not be too bad, since it has taken so long to implement I now have nearly a dozen characters on a server that is on the other coast. (Didn't bother putting new ones on a now closer server because "Soon" may never of happened) Since legacy is only server wide just moving some would be cutting my legacy in half an idea that seem unfathomable to me. So my question is for 2x or 3x the price are we gonna be seeing full legacy, server to server transfers at any point? Because nearly 2k cartel coins times nearly 12, is a hell of a lot. too much in fact. Or at the very least are these going to be items at some point that can be bought off the gtn?
  8. If i was wrongly called a liar and a cheat, i would view 3 free days, (about 1 dollar) as an insult added to the injury.
  9. The simple truth is that if it wasn't for the cartel market cool things like the upcoming content wouldn't have made it into the game this early, and quite possibly never. If you happen to not like it then simply don't use it, but i don't see how more options are anything but good. As for the updates timetable personally I would much rather they tack 2 weeks on to each of them than go live with glaringly obvious bugs. To me id much rather have to wait a bit more than have deal with annoying bugs like the current useless crafting mats or the augment glitch. Having to work around things can really drain the fun of what should just be a carefree game. While i quite like the gree event and love the Xeno and world boss fights, it is starting to feel a bit over used. They need a few other well flushed out "keep busy" events like this one in the rotation.
  10. I wouldn't be so sure this will lower prices, it could just as easily increase prices by making things much more desirable. Having to only buy 1 of something and have it account wide could drive up prices of some things.
  11. Don't think they actually went down till like 20m after. Also i don't think i've ever seen them go down for less than about 1.5 hours on a scheduled 2hour maint.
  12. What exactly are people agreeing with? you know this is incorrect right?^ and nothing is currently being fixed.... This is just a scheduled maint.
  13. Didn't you just comment on the augment exploit??? how short is your memory?
  14. So bolster is fine you say, did they fix the augment exploit that people use in ranked matches while I wasn't paying attention?
