  1. This would be amazing if they could implement it. I think guildships need to offer incentive that personal strongholds don't have to encourage people to actually use the guildships instead of simply using their own personal strongholds.
  2. I totally agree with you OP, I hate the "comic relief" abilities Scoundrel's have that are part of their main rotation like blaster whip for dirty fighting and sucker punch for scrapper. The scattergun is the iconic weapon of the class but we barely use it. If there is one simple change I would like to see it's an animation replacer for blaster whip, changing it to a scattergun animation. I simply don't play scrapper because of the sucker punch animation. I doubt it will ever get changed though, and some people prefer the silliness. Personally I don't like the silliness since Scoundrel is the only advanced class to get "comic relief" abilities as part of their rotations. I don't appreciate having to be the joke class simply because I want to play a dps smugger that isn't a gunslinger.
  3. I actually totally agree with you. That's what I like most about the Scoundrel actually, the whole fighting dirty aspect, and think it fits the Scoundrel much more than it does the Gunslinger. Sadly, I very much doubt it will be changed at this point in time.
  4. Really disappointed that they're trying to push blaster volley for dot spreading. It's a clunky ability that costs way too much for what it does. Especially when you consider how Shadow/Assassins spread their dots. Otherwise I'm happy with the changes to dirty fighting/ruffian. This is my own personal preference I guess, but I was hoping that blaster whip would be replaced with a scattergun blast ability. I don't care for the "comic relief" abilities Scoundrel has- blaster whiping a giant rancor seems like it would do nothing to the rancor and would probably have a much higher chance of damaging your blaster. Our stun I can live with since it's not part of our rotation at least but blaster whip is a core ability and it just looks so silly. And for a class that's advertised as using a scattergun we really don't use it all that much.
  5. I actually like the current color. However I definitely would like the multiple hood taken away, along with the "shoulder rolls" I don't think I'd care for a cape either, as that would clip with everything. Just my opinion.

He didn't mean the Commando would be guarding and taunting, he meant that the Commando would have a 70% reduction on top of being guarding by a tank who is taunting anyone who attacks the Commando. Thus the taking 5 damage comment. Edit: As to the general topic I play a Scoundrel but I do feel for you guys. At the very least you guys should have an interrupt.
  8. So much false information in this thread. If an Operative is concealment specced he can knock you down for 1.5s, but has to be in stealth to do so, and then he can stun you with a 4s melee stun. That's it, hardly a "10s+ stunlock!". That's all the stuns they have. And it's so easy to spot someone in stealth and force them out of it in this game. Once out of stealth they have no way of getting back into stealth without blowing a 2 minute cooldown if specced for it. They are completely reliant on their stealth as well; without it they can't do any real damage. In comparison a Powertech can stun you for 4s from 30m and they also have a 2.5s aoe stun. And yet no one complains about stunlocking Powertechs. I play a healer and I assure you it's not dps Operatives I fear.
  9. Dude, what? She's the perfect companion for a heal specced sage. If you were DPS specced your statement would make sense. But as a healer she's great. You bubble her and keep her healed while she kills stuff for you. Besides, why would we have 3 tanks? And 2 melee tanks? That would make no sense. And then we would have only 1 dps companion and no melee dps companion...makes no sense.
  10. She can aoe. You keep her alive with your bubble while you open with a forcequake and she runs in and does her aoe. Goes through packs of mobs really quickly. For tougher, single targets you need to switch between healing and bubbling her and dpsing down the target.
