  1. I really like the ideas of bringing in Crafting/Gathering Professions into this. So at least the PvE'ers can still give in to something even if they are just glorified Slicers. It can be pure chaos when trying to keep and defend a node. I love this idea!
  2. I didn't think they would sensor Get out the heck out [replace the heck with your favorite F-word]. According to the patch note it is an immobilize not a stun. The knockback had some situations that it was useful but it required delicate placement because the knockback itself was pure garbage. Smart melee know to stay in the middle of a ramp to avoid the knockback as much as possible from a talented Rocket Punch. Yes you might get an easy kill every now and then with a well timed knockback but you still get the AoE knockback. With the immobilze I can drop down and heal myself or get me that extra Tracer Missle + Railshot to kill them. With the Old Rocket Punch I would not be able to do that because they would have closed the distance in heartbeat.
  3. The QQ is simply amazing about Rocket Punch being a immobilize instead of a knockback. You do know that the knockback freaking BLOWS and it gives the enemy resolve? The knockback was like 3 feet and hardly any vertical uptime. It was basically our interrupt for healers IF they didn't have a full bar of resolve. I'm glad it is an immobilize so it gives me time to ****.
  4. Well if Bodyguard spec doesn't Powershot become free to cast until you run out of the buff? Granted the armor debuff is awesome but maybe some weird spec of rocking Combat Cells to proc off the free Powershot spam when they boss has full armor debuffs would be good no...? This is coming from a VERY noob perspective so please forgive me.
  5. Oh no of course I'm going to have a shield generator on. I wouldn't imagine doing so much like a Warrior tanking with a two-hander or a Druid tanking in Cat Form. Although I do understand where you are coming from in terms of resource management. Perhaps I'm feeling a bit meh over how a Sith Assassin tanks since they don't get any cool defensive cooldowns compared to the other classes. That Dark Ward thing seem rather lacking compared to the juggernaut and power tech defensive cooldowns.
  6. This is of course concerned about flashpoints grinding while leveling up.
  7. I blame this on WoW's Druid class a little bit and to an extent Paladins. But how important is it to be Tank specced while leveling up? I can only talk experience between my Juggernaut and Assassin [no clue how Powertechs work] but a simple stance switch seems like it would be enough to tank most flashpoints and having a good healer should be enough to stomp these instances. Granted I know this changes at 50 where mobs hit like trucks carrying nukes and tank spec is important to have but general leveling... how important is it to be tank specced? Can I get away just fine switching to stances and be in a dps spec?
  8. It seems like I'm sticking my hand into a garbage disposal whenever I fight them. Is it that their defensive cooldowns are better to deal with us? They even get a mini-vanish that I lose targeting from time to time unless I slapped a DoT on them. Is there something I should look out for aside from their glowing crap that makes them take 50% less damage? Any tips on how to approach them or specific specs that are good against them?
  9. I LoL'ed at "where are my healz?" part... ohhhhh man LOL
  10. @miliways: Way to be unhelpful. I didn't see anything in paricular in the class forums. Mostly people QQ'ing about Sentinel having too many buttons to press. @damolawler: I have noticed that as playing melee. Freaking snares blow.
  11. I'm curious as who gives them the most problems in pvp. I haven't come across any too much but I'm afraid that its because they are so bad or I'm a team player and move with my group. But is there a class in particular if I get singled out would just womp on me? This is mostly towards the Jedi Specialization.
