if all pvp gear had the same amount of expertise on it, peop-le would simply use what ever gear they wanted and have the expertise taken out of the pvp gear and put into reg raid gear

i noticed about a month ago... I get hit for 7 to 9k sometimes in WZ. Its not often to be killed with this kind of hit and see it in the combat log but... I have seen it./ also, while me and friend go wz, I am buffed and healing . He has GUARD on me, I hae HSIELD on both of us. I get attacked by 2 players @ the same time and I am killed in literaly 1 second. I check killing blow and it says 8k! this does not happen opften but i have seen it atleast 3 times a WZ match. how can someone be hitting me for 8k physical when i have 2/3rds WH and rest BM gear (expertise) and I have guard with my sorc shield up on me? I have 1 point in backlash too! though I have never seen it work. So am i gettin ghit for like 20k or what? I am actualy going to test this thought with my raid gear in a WZ

i play the game ONLY from home. i have dsl 2m and i often flush my dns and renew ip but the game didnt seem to mind..... but now all of a sudden: EVERY time i log in i am asked a security question. This started 2 weeks ago.

pvp in swtor is hit. Check this out: WZ about to start. I am a healer sorcerer. my gear is basicaly all WH with some aug. I have a tank put guard on me. the WZ starts and incredibly somehow within 3 seconds an enemy jedi is already on me.. no clue how he got over here this fast. he hits me 1st time and I am half dead. he hits me second time and i am dead. i check combat log. I have been hit 3 times for 7k ea. now i ask.. where is the mitigation? unless he actualy hit me for 10k each time... this goes on for the duration of the WZ. I ask for help and try to stay with the group but the same guy keeps getting on me within seconds and killing me in 2 to 3 hits. again.. I have nearly best gear

that is someoen who has no skill and is scared someoen will be ahead of them with a macro!

yeah i thought that things would be better after patch even though I got nerfed but... I Have 3/4 BM gear and some WH and the rest is still pvp gear. I am schooled from wow and have been playing (pvp'n) since vanilla wow. but in this game even though i have decent gear and good expertise... there are classes that not only hit me for up to 6k...they also stun for so long and interupt so many times...even with my shield.. this is what happens. I get attacked, i shield, I try to interupt.. .I am stunned, I am hit, I am stunned again, I am hit again, I am stunned, I have full resolve bar yet I am still stunned and I am hit for extreme amounts and I am dead. (about 5 sec sometimes). so.. its liek there are 5 diff classes of rogues running around. Its very hard and not fun. I have almost left this game 3 times but i keep trying thinking that BIO would fix issues..

Maybe this will help someone: Alot of people have trouble downloading patches due to data corruption. esp with high amount of mem. MOst people who have this issue simply take out all but one stick of mem and replace it after the patch. The first time i had this issue- i manualy entered my mem timings via google and changed them in my bios. once i did this... the patch went through without a hitch. upon 1.2 release.... i had the same trouble. however- changing mem timings had no effect. I ran mem test via microshaft and I had a bad stick of ripjaw. I googled this and ALOT of people have bad sticks of ripjaw! I replaced the stick with a new one and guess what.... it was bad out of the package! I exchanged it and the replacement was good. Hope this proves to be good info for someone. : )

I must say i am shocked. I am use to this kind of thing being that I played wow pvp since vanilla and man was I good @ it. BUt in this game as a sorcerer I am consistantly getting ganked in WZ by spawn lingering rogue type players. BUT... I have no gear as I just turned 50. I knew this would happen and I did not want to turn 50 for this reason. My question is...how are we to get gear when just the act of Q'n for a match puts my team in loosing battle just from my undergeared tooon being there? I am killed in 3 seconds or less by 1 single enemy. I can not do a single thing about it. NOTHING! I dont mind getting ganked when i know I am undergeared but being that I am a healer and fill a role on a team.... instead of healing my teammates, I am leaving spawnzone only to be stunned, trinket - stunned dead. over and over and over and over and over again. needless to say... I won 1 single match since I turned 50. Out of 18 games!!! Troll write here: L2P get some gear you just suck

this is what I do. My companiopns are ALWAYS doing something. you dont have to learn ALL the trainers patterns. Once you have pattern that will generate xp- make it, reverse eng it. You get some of the mats back and you have a chance to learn a better pattern (blue) . make blue and rev eng that too.. if you have say, TH, ARC, and artifice, you can get mats all across the board. sell your items to vendor ( crap and crap armor/weapons) and use auction for lower level mats that will not generate xp if you craft with them. I also auction certain weapons and armor. And most important... make sure you are always doing something... i.e. questing, dailies, pvp. anythign that generates money. I have yet to have a $$$ issue in this game. I am lvl 45 and i Have only run FP 3 or 4 times. I mostly work on quests (esp class quests), lvl my arc/tre/artifice and do WZ. While I am sitting in the rediculasly long Q for WZ, I am questing and sending my companions out.

If SWTOR starts using multi server Q system for warzones and flashpoints/raids... I think the game will survive. If not -.... I fear the end may be near. You can't tell me that the suits in bioware just assumed there server population was going to be of such a population that we could Q in minutes... I have sat in Q for WZ for half a day without a single game and even then its not us vs them... its us vs us in huttball! For the love of Darwin.... PLEASE make it happen!

that is crazy of you to say! you are not playing the tape all the way to the end! We DEFINATELY need that gear! esp since the game is gettign dangerously close to being a failure. I will say.. there are some very OP situations in pvp and I agree changes need to be made but none of it matters unless SWTOR allows transfers and there are cross realm/server pvp-wz AND FP/raid Q'n. I fear the end is in site!

i dont think that its just unbalance issues. I also dont think sorcerers are OP. I do think that the game is really un-responsive and broken. there are too many glitches and problems with the game. I have died many times due to a tab out that I didnt enitiate or i have been removed for no reason only to load back in and have the same stuff happen. not to mention that I Q 18 out of 20 huttball matches! I am thinking that bioware will not leave the game this way as too many people will be unhappy. I have also been hit for more health than i have... and I have had a full white bar and been held in the fire in huttball!

There is a single mob on Hoth in the icefall plains ( not sure on that name). When you ride past him, he always agroes you and knocks you off your speeder. He then inflicts you with some sort of crowd control. But there is no visible debuff. you cant move. it looks as if you are disabled and it says. " you are not in control of your actions". you can however cast and sick your companion on him. Once you kill him... the cc does not wear off. You can not get out of it by casting... you can not move, you can mount, you can use fleet pass or quik travel... all it does is move you to a new location and... you still cant move. the name of the mob is: "talz scout" sorry so long. any thoughts?
