  1. Yeah, I just hit 55, so I'm going for accuracy to 100%, then crit and surge. Rotation seems to be flawless here and very smooth...Pyrotech is a blast to play
  2. Dumb question, but this seems like the place to ask: what are the stat/gear priorities? It seems like with talents like Firebug, crit and surge should be the best stats after Aim, but I've never been a huge number cruncher Seems like crit > surge > power for me (52 with some decent gear).
  3. Deception plays almost like a Wrath Enhancement Shaman with stealth than a pre-BC paladin. I mean, we have way more than Seal->Judgment Our GCDs almost resemble a current Frost DK or a hunter where we do something every 1.5 seconds or suffer.
  4. I'd rather have a purple light saber anyways. Not because of Sammy LJ, but because it looks a lot more ****** than red or yellow.
  5. Spike if it's a non-boss/PvP or Voltaic Slash on a boss (Discharge if I have a few leftover charges of Static Charge left).
  6. She doesn't like much from female Inquisitors (what I also rolled)...I was getting +44 from Tier 5 gifts, but dailies on Belsavis are the real way to go to get affection with her (never have to take a side choice, and you can gain almost 1k a day).
  7. This. She can't go back to the Jedi Order since she killed he masters (with you) along with her fellow padawans. She's confused: she wants to be a Jedi, but is also very passionate and action-oriented. She's essentially Anakin Skywalker 3000 years prior.
  8. Do Belsavis dailies and you can get about 500 affection a day. I got her to 10k/10k over the weekend that way (not fun, but the hard part is over).
  9. I went from 33-50 using Ashara as Deception. She's very well geared for me, and does some pretty sick DPS. Xalek is almost useless (he's a worse tank than Khem from my experience), and Talos is awesome if you're going Darkness.
  10. I had no issues leveling as Deception, granted I started using Ashara as soon as I got her. She does incredible damage, can take some hits (unlike Andy), and I was already pulling aggro off Khem, so his mitigation wasn't a factor. Too bad they couldn't swap when we get Andy and Talos...we get a healer FAR too late.
  11. Yeah, I was typing that at 3AM and got my rotation and priority mixed up Yes, Maul (EW up), Discharge, and Shock with 2x Induction/VS buff are the three best DPF attacks Deception has. VS is filler, but you want to have Induction/VS up to 2 ASAP to use Shock as soon as it comes off cooldown. So yeah... 1. Assassinate 2a. Discharge (more stacks of Static Charge, the better, though you need 3+ stacks to make it better than Shock [from what I see for numbers]) 2b. Shock (2x Induction/Voltaic Slash) 4. Maul (Exploit Weakness...but since the ICD is so long, you can time it so you'll still get 2x VS in before Shock refreshes and still have time to use the proc) 5. Voltaic Slash 6. Saber Strike
  12. Considering your most-used melee attack is actually 2 attacks(Voltaic Slash), it's a bit more effective than it looks (you only use Maul every 10 seconds at most and Assassinate is very limited). Nowhere near as good as Darkswell/Blackout or Recklessness, but it's a good button to push when it's off cooldown. It would be nice to have Recount here to see what the overall damage of attacks is
  13. Khem is ok for an assassin, but while I don't have any issues with him, I prefer using Ashara. I have her lead the strike on an elite, wait until she's close to death, Mind Control->Sacrifice->Deflection and kill pretty much any elite without any real issues (at 50, geared in orange gear with mostly blue level 50 mods, Ashara is in greens with light sabers modded with blue level 50 mods, so I'm between decent gear and crap gear). Threat is the only problem I have with Khem and Xalek. Talos is fun, but killing is too slow. I never really got into using Andy.
  14. Great for standard NPCs, but not for strong/elites (Shock anyways). As Deception, what I do for priority: Assassinate Voltaic Slash x2 (always in pairs) Shock (only with 2 charges of the VS buff) Maul (with buff) Discharge Saber Strike (if you're low on Force) Use Blackout when it's off cooldown (Saber Strike hits like a wet noodle), pop Recklessness when you can get off a chain Shock->Discharge combo. It's pretty easy to figure out...use your best damage:force attacks and keep Shock and Discharge on cooldown, but always make sure you'll have 2 charges of Voltaic Slash up BEFORE Shock is ready (by far the most powerful attack you have, especially if you go for the Chain Shock build).
