  1. Someone in this thread mentioned a game that used a bleaching system. What if crafters could craft a dye extraction kit that would allow you to keep your dye upon extraction? This would consume the kit instead of the dye. You may get a pay cut because nobody will pay for the kit if it's more than their dye, but you may be able to make up for it if you price the kits to be higher than low cost dyes (ugly purple green dyes) but cheaper than, say, black black dyes. people with black black will surely pay for many extraction kits if they change armors often and don't want to spend millions on a dye every time.
  2. I tried this myself because I needed mine inverted, but the problem now is that the target cursor moves without moving my camera because it's not locked. When steering my ship I want inverted, but I'm thrown off with the cursor because that is inverted too. The targeting cursor is like point and click which is almost always down is down and up is up. A lot of people are use to inverted cameras, not inverted point and click.
  3. What if there was an option (keyword here, before you all flip out) to do like a mini GSF on your way to each planet. It would be similar to the current space PVE, except instead of being on rails you're "guided" along a path that you can freely move in. You can only travel so far in PVP, so the same would work here. The route to get there is predetermined, but you can freely fly within your "tunnel" (for lack of a better word). This could provide a little extra Exp for those that want it. You can even leave little bonus items like a minor exp boost consumable tucked away somewhere that requires you to actually take advantage of the free roam aspect. Maybe place one behind a giant asteroid and you can only see it/get to it by turning around because the asteroid is too big to see the item behind it. Then make it so you can only get X amount from this method in Y amount of time so that people can't just farm these religiously. It's not a perfect plan, but something along these lines would be kind of cool. Especially if the load time for this "mode" is shorter than the planet load time and have the planet begin loading as you travel there. Making it so it's your phase only would make it easier to load the planet since it doesn't have to stream other characters as they appear.
  4. This needs to be in the market http://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/original/8/80647/1629053-687852_starkiller_of_soul_caliber_4_1_super.jpg
  5. oh i was under the assumption the OP didn't even think permission systems were possible so i mentioned WoW's as a reference of how it should work.
  6. i think wow did this pretty well. they can just do it that way and i'd be happy.
  7. yea like they did with the crystals. it's working fine for those. if that's how it turned out for the armor i'd be ok with it. the crystals weren't a "major" thing they did. it was more of a "hey they probably still want these so let's just put the ability to craft them along with the other stuff we're doing right now."
  8. i didn't pick my assassin because he was melee. i chose him because of the mix of sweet lightning moves and saber attacks. however, the latter is more prevalent and i'd rather have a sorc so i can use lightning all the time. for some people it's about having fun and not about whether a class is melee or ranged.
  9. that's just it, though. you're absolutely right when you say it doesn't have to be a major thing. and i agree with you that it shouldn't be. and i agree about bringing them back in general. but i just have this nagging feeling that it'll be a major feature in some major patch and treated as "something new and exciting." i'm not against your idea at all, i just don't trust the devs to treat this correctly.
  10. The arguments against this are ridiculous. half of them are people who are just always going to be against making things convenient, the other half are people complaining "i don't want to deal with people not knowing their class." what if we met in the middle-ish? what if you can only switch your AC if you already have the faction mirror version of what you want to switch to within x amount of levels of the character you're switching? using myself as an example, i have a 50 sage and a 50 assassin and i would love for my sage to instead be a shadow and my assassin be a sorc. legacy already tracks which "story class" you complete, maybe it can log which AC too to allow this.
  11. In my opinion the only thing that makes Revan overrated is how his story ends up in the end. everything from the first KotOR, and even the little bit from the second, makes him one of the best characters in my eyes. The novel just ruined him. They should have adapted Revan from the games instead.
  12. I can go without this. Chances are it'd be an excuse to not come out with new designs and just re-release the old designs as a major thing.
  13. it's probably safe to say you'll run Teral V about 10 times before you leave the range to be stuck in it for a random. that's a little over a third.
