  1. Story: The story itself was somewhat decent. I didn't time it precisely, but around half of the so called 9 hours of playtime (easily doable in less time) was watching the cut scenes. Combat zones are too small and too easy. Build your Alliance: Nothing but a ripoff of WoW's current garrison/follower system. Not an exact copy but pretty close. All flashpoints having a solo mode/tactical mode: Yet another push for players to never properly learn their class and role for real group content.
  2. Yay, yet other system that screws over people who have been playing for years and already have maxed out characters. Cuz you know that we all just love "progressing" through old content.
  3. No point in providing feedback on what we want for our class when it is consistently ignored. Seems to me that the only purpose of these feedback threads is for the devs to know what they're up against in defending whatever changes they've already decided upon. Or possibly asking this in every class thread is just a pathetic attempt to distract people from the complete lack of new end game content. It certainly isn't about integrating our ideas on how the classes operate. I'll offer this feedback to you: You have done absolutely nothing to convince me that you care about what we all think.
  4. "Focus on something the customer wants, and then deliver it." - Sam Walton Perhaps you should try this philosophy devs. I hear that it works pretty well.
  5. I saw about a 200 dps loss on the dummy this morning without changing any gear out. Resource generation is garbage. I had to use force charge on cooldown to avoid delaying dots and annihilate so mobility in boss fights is going to be more difficult. Shorter dot uptime per application is less dps during downtime forced by mechanics. It's next to impossible to fit in a full ravage without delaying dots. The only time I see that you can get a full ravage after the opener is when you've done annihilate and rupture back-to-back which is rare unless you re-apply rupture over an existing application.
  6. Do not underestimate the response of experienced knowledgeable players leaving the game or stopping to help you improve your game due to your insistence in continuing to move in a direction that goes completely against what your players want. Dialog on your end that has an insulting tone to it has not and will never improve anything. I'm going to remind you that it was your experienced, knowledgeable players that saved the Annihilation/Watchman spec from being completely unplayable in 3.0 testing. I am 7/10 in the current tier of HMs on my annihilation marauder and the only one ( at the time of this post ) from Harbinger with decent HM Torque kill parses on the Parsely leader board site. The force rend dot spreading direction needs to go away. In Ravagers and ToS, there is rarely a good opportunity to dot spread and when I do, it interrupts the flow of the rotation and has next to no effect in the outcome of the fight. This is nothing new. The community has told you many times. Focusing the spec around force rend and dot spreading only stands to hurt it. Who in their right mind would want higher difficulty for worse return? It’s completely absurd. I don’t know…maybe you'll finally wake up when you've lost all community support and the game has been run completely into the ground.
  7. More and more often in satellite matches, bombers are embedding themselves so far into the satellites that they can't be hit from all but one point. That one point is filled in with mines and drones, so that they are completely shielded from all damage on all sides. It is next to impossible to kill such bombers. Close range fighters can't survive the stacked mines and bomber primary weapon laser. Gunships, even if you get them into position, take at least 6+ rail shots just to eat through the mines and drones. Even then, the bomber is pumping out replacements while the rail gun is charging. By the time you actually eat through all the mines and all drones and force everything for the bomber to be on cooldown, one or more the bomber's teammates has taken you out or at minimum forced you to move giving the bomber the time to reinforce the mine barrier again. You get matched against a team with 2 or 3 bombers doing this and there is no possible way to beat them. The satellites need to be modified to prevent this embedding and force these coward bombers to fight for their wins like everyone else.
  8. The data packets from the rare spawn grophets need to be at least white quality so they can't be accidentally sold by the "sell junk" and companion sell item features and not be recoverable.
  9. I had to take a break from full time raiding back in August due to real life work/college schedule. I did some filling in as an alt since then so I'm not super rusty. I'm now looking for a new HM/NIM progression raid group. I want to be in a group which every one does their research on fights and consistently shows improvement in clearing content. I've spent too much time running with individuals that hold back the group from not knowing their stuff. Previous nightmare content progression preferred. Not interested in transferring servers. I have an operative healer that I'm comfortable with for alt runs in difficult content if needed. I do starfighter matches regularly. I have all imperial side ships mastered (excluding the CC bought ones). 10. The problem is not the difficultly of the fights on any mode. The real problem is what I've highlighted in red above. Successful groups that kill bosses are the ones who play together on a regular basis and by what you said, you don't want to make the effort. While there is discrimination against dps shadows and assassins, the class changes for 2.5 will help remove the incentive to stack sentinels and marauders. You don't need to be in a top end raiding guild to clear operations. There are plenty of semi-casual to semi-hardcore guilds in the middle. You just won't clear them as quickly. Your attitude of no commitment, skip as much stuff as possible as quickly as possible that you give off in your posts is the only thing standing in your way. Edit: My guild's raid groups have alternates assigned to each group. They simply fill in if someone is gone and if they are online. We don't obligate them to be on for every raid because they are alternates. Of course if an alt ever wants to become a part of the main group then they have to prove their loyalty and reliability. Perhaps to meet the playstyle you seem to want, you need to find a guild on your server that will accept you being a causal alternate for one of their groups.
  11. Yes....going into Kabal Station Defense, you should be able to destroy the first wave of 6 bombers with just blasters with improved power conversion module set to blasters. For the first time tonight, I could only get 3 down without using missiles. Afterwards going through the frigates and second wave of bombers the damage taken was much higher than normal and even with shield regen boost and my usual dodging tactics I was dead. There was no issue doing Far Cradle Strike last night....no idea on Kabal Station
  12. I've recently gotten Jaesa on my sith marauder. I have enough Taris commendations to get her a new double lightsaber, but can she use either one? Each one is restricted to either Light III and above or Dark III and above. While I turned her to the dark side via the story, character page alignment points show as neutral 0 like every other companion. So the generic question comes to can companions equip gear with light/dark restrictions?
