  1. Hello fellas! Currently in warzones from level 10 to 49 your stats get boosted to what it would normally be in level 49/50 (correct me if I am wrong). Sadly the lower leveled will have a huge disadvantage against a higher leveled due to the lack of new spells the higher level has. What my question is to you is whether you would rather have every character from 10 to 49 be boosted automatically when they join a warzone so they have all abilities a level 49 or 50 would have, or would this be too complicated for the lowbies? Just a thought I have had a while.
  2. The reasoning I'm saying every month is because we have to renew our subscription each month. However EITHER way I would be happy. They need to get the word out somehow, I want to know what I spend my money on. The communication now is completly absurd! My guild has nearly disbanded the last month just because of this.
  3. Sure they do post news when new content or patches is about to come, they are almost obligated to that. I don't find too interesting what I can expect that day after, but rather what they actually are working to get out there! I remember they somewhat said such things before 1.3 (rarely), for an example with the lfg tool. But I feel the staff should let us know what our money is worth, and what we can expect. Too many of my friends has quit because of the lack of communication, teasing, news. Thats is why I think a monthly development letter would do it.
  4. I feel the communication between us players and the developers has always lacked, I'm sure that I am not the only one feeling this way. That is why I would suggest them doing a monthly development letter to the community to tell us what they are working on, and what we can expect! I've seen this been done by many mmo's in the past especially by funcom. For an example http://www.ageofconan.com/news/monthly_development_update_july_2012 . Even though I'm sure many feels/wants the same I've mentioned, I want peoples thoughts/opinion about it. Perhaps it will reach the staff, who knows?
  5. Illum is now a PVE planet, I'm sorry dude. And no, the developers has not given us any information about it what so ever. I assume they pulled the plugg on it, and hope people will leave the disgrace behind and instead enjoy a new planet with a new level cap which is coming soon.
  6. Orbital Strike, just because I am one of the few operatives left playing.
  7. What we have been told is that Nightmare mode EC will bring a new tier of gear most probably, so I assume it will come at the same time as the new operation. Now just speculating, they told us a content pack is coming in august. So I would assume that content will come at 1.4 . And since we are shortly on patch 1.3.5 I assume they will skip all the patches between and make one major one 1.3.5 ->1.4. Meaning we are two patches away from atleast some kind of content, if not EC NiM or the new operation. ye
  8. If you have a tactic planned out and it is interfering with your tanking, then yes she is wrong.
  9. I would trade that skill if they combined it with debilitate!
  10. I agree, no building of hype, teasing or news what so ever
  11. I'm really dissapointed on the lack of communication, no teasing, no news, bad questions etc. Im sorry but i've unsubscribed for now.
  12. 1. How do you think your Operative spec is perceived by other classes? Operative Medic PVP: high mobility, instant heal, vanish, speed multiplier, one of the stronger healing classes. Operative Medic PVE: single target healing, example focusing on tank, one of the stronger healing classes. Operative Concealment PVP: high burst, substain damage, stunlocking, helpfull in RWZ Operative Concealment PVE: high burst at the beginning, bad substain DPS, easily replaceable with any other DPS class. Operative Lethality PVP: substain DPS, not helpfull what so ever regarding anything but DPS/ no CC, Operative Lethality PVE: dies due to serveral game mechanics, capable of substain damage, preferable replacing by another DPS class. 2. How do you perceive your own spec? Operative Medic PVP: time consuming to kill, great heal over time, one of the best healers ingame. Operative Medic PVE: single target healer, trusting heal over time, good energy management. Operative Concealment PVP: helpfull due to infiltrate, high burst over short duration, energy problem accour over long duration fights, bad mobility, cloaking screen is poorly made (should teleport you OUT of combat, not make you go stealth nearby combat), no substain damage/hard to get out of combat to resneak. Operative Concealment PVE: worst dps ingame, no substain damage, bad energy management, non-friendly PVE mechanics regarding melee, no gap closerer, no teambuff what so ever, no reason to bring to raid. Operative Lethality PVP: good on DPS list, dot / switch target (most efficient), cull mechanic is done bad (have to go melee range to trigger a ranged attack), good mobility Operative Lethality PVE: awkward ability mechanics, many bosses (especially Zorn & Toth) requires you to switch target if you get some sort of debuff (example). Our dots will make it almost impossible to not suicide, weird hybrid of melee/ranged with no gap closerer or speedboost if you are out of range. To wrap it up; I've played Operative since launch achieving full War Hero PVP set and Campain PVE set, to give you some knowledge from where i got my experience from. The whole class feels awkward and unbalanced, the Medic side of the Operative is strong but the DPS side of it is unchallenging and dull. Lethality has substain damage but get repeatable. I see the trying of making a hybrid specc for Operative, but there is no reason to act like it, the substain damage in PVP come from spamming dots and switching target. I hope for a redesign on that area. I also hope for a redesign on how the spell Cloaking Screen works. Concealment specc has no substain DPS what so ever, also there is nothing to get yourself closer to the enemy target. My suggestion would be to give Operative serveral new openers. This will might give you an option; substain damage, or high burst over short period. PS: I'm getting this information by my own experience, also pharsers, also others opinion I also want to thank you developers for making a thread like this. I also read this after a while from the OP; Here are the two questions that we’d like to ask (please only post about specific specs that you actively play, and don’t forget to tell us which one you’re talking about!): In my excuse for that, i've played all speccs active to check l if the unbalanced/awkward feel is all around the class. As i said, i've played active Operative since pre-release.
  13. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeee, now you told us everyting about 1.3 in depth.. Only thing which misses are the patch itself going live!
