  1. Playing on a Concentration Sentinel, I could not click the sample to start the encounter while I had 30 stacks of centering. Hit Zen, and it worked. This was both at the beginning and after the fight to recover the Anti-Toxin.
  2. One more voice in favor of eliminating RNG from the core progression path. I want to play knowing I'm working toward OPs ready gear (set bonus, moddable, purple/gold, augment worthy), not the possibility of such. RNG is bad. Don't make this mistake again, please.

  4. The new system was designed because the old one was too confusing. Good grief. BW is so lost.
  5. I'm so disappointed. The grind and RNG have sucked my desire to play. Cut it out and make GC the secondary system it was designed to be. Dang.
  6. I haven't leveled a sentinel in quite a while, but I love the way combat plays as far as overall usefulness is concerned. It's been my one and only main for over a year. However, the AC as a whole is not in a good place, which caused me to level a guardian during this 12x period. That's the safe bet now, but sentinels will be viable again (I hope!) so roll one of each and experience both ACs. Play whatever feels fun, it's a game! 😀
  7. Combat/carnage is my main on both sides. I've played my combat sent for over a year straight, mostly in FPs and Ops. The current iteration is fine discounting the lack of uptime on bosses. The truth seems to be there is no magic bullet that fixes this unfortunate fact. I'm in the camp that thinks damage should be scaled to uptime for pure melee DPS. But the how gets complicated sometimes when (in my convoluted mind) it seems pretty simple to get headed down the right path. I'd like to see precision increased to 4.5 secs off the GCD and bring cauterize back to all specs. That's not a ton of change or a huge damage spike, but it gives us something to keep DPS up for small periods of downtime and a better burst for when we finally get back on target. My experience is probably not unique nor too insightful, but these two small changes would help our viability in Ops and any fight where downtime is an issue (ie. most bosses). Thanks for reading.
  8. I have the same reservations as most everyone else. I main a combat sentinel and a carnage marauder, and am upset about losing crippling throw. It's great in PvE situations when you're chasing enemies the tank is pulling to a spot (and leg slash is nothing in end game content, never used). A loss of utilities will be saddening. Finally, I see fewer bursts and no DoTs as a kick in the groin. I like to be open, but this has me worried.
