  1. The bug was described perfectly in this thread many years ago: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=62987&page=84 Why hasn’t it been fixed? I’ve literally had my character killed when walking on bridges because my character decided to randomly do a 90 degree turn. It’s extremely frustrating
  2. probably tank specced shadows/assassins. When most people play one spec its bound for nerf.... And when this happens i will have no more reason to play this game. shadow is my fav class, and as it stands now, Kinetic combat is their only viable spec. Inf is wayyyyyy too squishy, and the increase in damage is not large enough to warent the loss of self heals and damage mitigation.
  3. Balance gets a talent which has a change to launch TWO projects at someone. I would say you should keep using it.
  4. trust me, it just gets worse from there. On my Inq i had to wait till HOTH to get a healing companion. It was a nightmare. As soon as i hit voss i just hit the ground and couldnt take it anymore. I swapped to tank spec and died like twice going from 45ish-50. Something needs to be done about self healing in this game (and i dont mean remove it). All specs should have some way of self sustainability. It is ridiculous the amount of difference between the two specs. On inf spec you have issues soloing normal quests. On darkness/KC spec you can solo 2 mans and sometimes 4 mans if your lucky. Also the difference in PVP is amazing. In Inf spec you gotta pick your targets (usually people sitting all alone) but with KC you can pretty much just run into a huge battle and out survive the rest of your team. In addition to this you basically can get 11 medals every game just with proper taunt timing. You can 1v1 every class (except for healers, just walk away from them they take too long to kill).
  5. if your looking for a good story, roll: JK (has the best story in the game imo if you want to feel like someone of any importance at the end) SW (pretty awesome, but not as good as JK) OP (everyone ive asked says it was a great storyline) The inq storyline is terrible, so far the consular storyline is pretty bad (im level 36), its not as bad as the inq story though.
  6. the fact that it shows the entire bare shoulder on MALE characters is what makes it so bad. Thats something my GF would be caught wearing... not a jedi shadow....
  7. "I love assassinating assassins, they always look so surprised." It's from an imperial quest on nar shadda
  8. The JK storyline is legendary. The consular storyline is lame. Same thing translates over to sith side. The jedi knight, sith warrior are the iconic saber users of starwars, so bioware put all of their talent and development time into these two classes. I hope that in the future bioware pulls off some sort of class storyline revamp, or continues the class storylines into the end game. Perhaps even allow us to go back and play through our storyline agian on hard mode or something. But as it stands now, the consulars and inquisitors are shafted big time on story, the consular gets it the worst, at least at the end of the game for inquisitor they make you feel somewhat important.
  9. I rerolled my assassin as a shadow. Things I have liked better so far. -nicer looking gear. It's good to have actual Jedi robes rather than having to farm for a supreme inquisitor set. - ship is *********** huge. The fury class has like 4 rooms, this thing has 2 floors in it! - the story line feels more mysterious and suspenseful so far, I got sick o tomb raider storyline - project is far cooler than shock even with the delay. - republic seems to win more in WZ - consular stealth effect looks better (misty as opposed to "b I t c h I'm fabulous") - republic double blades saber hilts are nicer and more detailed. I love the blue light coming from the hilt Things I miss: - sith pure blood race - cooler companions (I miss Khem and xalek) - the consular voice actor makes him sound like an old man - the charge effects on the saber. Now the saber looks so bland - the visual of discharge. Force breach visual effect needs to be brighter, it's barely noticeable
  10. Imo deception either needs a substantial damage boost or to have some health leeching added in to make up for our lack of damage mitigation. We're also out of force more than the other specs. Darkness never runs out of force yet they get a 30% force regeneration boost, why? Darknesses' sustainable damage is also close to deception. I've been more successful as darkness than deception. damage wise and survivability.
  11. I always thought that the original loot system was suppose to give everyone in the operation loot, so that people wouldn't be left feeling like they spent 3 hours in an op for nothing. This was a brilliant idea, and the same idea guild wars 2 will be using. Why was this removed? Why were all the cool features in the game removed? Whoever decided to remove features such as the following should be fired. - hoods + helmets together - group summoning feature - clothing color matching - removing the cool gear models from the class previews - the list goes on... I dont know about everyone else, but I would much rather see twilek lekku sticking out of hoods then remove the ability to have a helm and hood together. But back to the raid loot system, Why would tokens be randomly assigned to players? That is by far the dumbest idea I have ever heard in my life. I really hope some of these changes kick in soon, because guild wars 2 is going to take a big hit on this games population if things don't change quickly.
  12. My advice to you is forget about all these crazy keymqpping techniques and buy a razer naga mmo mouse. It's 100x easier to get used to.
  13. I have been watching a bunch of shadow and assassin pvp videos. For some reason in all of the shadow videos they are rolling off **** load of 6k+ crits like mad. In all of the assassin videos ive seen the largest crits ive seen are around 5k. These classes are suppose to mirror each other. So i dont know why this is happening. Im just assuming that the shadows are all in battlemaster gear and the assassins are in champion/centurion.
  14. Because in PvP the classes with the most weaknesses die. People learn to exploit these. Mobs on the other hand are not intelligent enough to do this, so people wont really notice that a class is gimped. However, Assassins are pretty gimped in PvE. My marauder can solo champion mobs of the same level, and come out with 80% or more health. My deception assassin on the other hand dies on single elite mobs. Everyone complains about the final boss as an assassin (unless they are darkness). I went into my friends phase for the final fight as my marauder and soloed it with him watching to see the difference. It was pretty huge. Darkness is a fine spec, Deception is fine if you play it safe and pick your battles. Madness is also fine to this extent. But if you want to play like any other class in pvp, your pretty much stuck in darkness spec because assassins have less survivability than anyone else.
