  1. They did say what went wrong, an incomplete alliance companion quest was active that would screw things up if you attempted to do it. The latest twitter update says solutions are still being tested, no eta yet, that was 9 minutes ago.
  2. The 'have you read tactics' line always bugs the **** out of me and why i've never bothered to do OPs. You should NOT have to go outside the game to learn to do a fight, the only thing you should be required to do is learn by playing and this isn't on the devs, this is on other players forcing requirements on others. It's exactly the same as the 'skip skip skip plz skip' mindset in FPs, there maybe people that have never done it before and they get screwed over.
  3. I did, though i acknowledge the problem was my own false assumption. I assumed that while new alliance stuff would come with the monthly update that there'd still be some unlocks this first month as you raised your companion and alliance levels. I assumed there'd be abit of comp dialogue for getting their levels up, i assumed hitting 10+ with alliance would unlock an alert or 2. I have main comps in their 20s and alliance at 15 and you know what unlocks? not a damn thing, not one tiny comp dialouge, nahda, zip. Irritated.
  4. 'Making the free lvl 60 doesn't count as having class story done?'....well, no because you havn't done the class story. It's not exactly rocket science, how freaking dare you act all god damn outraged. some people holy crow
  5. to be honest play something else to kill time. I was stood in my stronghold, like ok lets prepare, um run flashpoints ehhh, warzones ehhh, *looks at achievements* kill 1000 whatsits *logs out*
  6. So if i was subbed on those dates but let it slide for like a day, say i don't know oct 1st-oct 2nd, that's it no early access for me, that doesn't seem right. This needs to be clarified by someone at bio.
  7. Checking now, hmm 14012, i've been around since 08, signing up i think the day the site went live, unfortunately at release i was partt of the infamous 5% whos system configuration has issues with ToR and couldn't play, since then i've hopped in and out over the years.
  8. It isn't just poor gearing or incompetence, it's that these are exacerbated by the boost. Fewer people are queueing for flashpoints because they simply arn't needed and some of the people that do have, not just poor gear, we're talking 15-20 lvls lower gear because all else they have done is class quests and on top of that newer players don't have the practical experience from doing other flashpoints.
  9. I was in the queue for 3 hours, when it finally popped the tank and healer died due to poor gear, they quit, i've been in the queue again for another hour and waiting. Anyone that thinks this xp boost is a good idea can not see the bigger picture, the idea that it should be permanent is ludicrous.
  10. MOAR Courtenay Taylor!! but have her change it up abit, also Seth Green, we could do with a humorous quest line. Also wanted to add my voice to Steve Blum=awesome but heard so many times.
  11. Valiant set, or as some of you might remember it jedi master hair gel set. I guess it's been worn to death because i almost never see it anymore, seen it once in the past month but i still love it.
  12. you mean apart from every single interview bio did back then, many of which can be found with a simple google search, and didn't they do videos at the time, developer blogs i think talking about each class and it's story....gosh no how foolish of me. Also you'll note i never said a damn thing about not greatly enjoying bioware stories in general.
  13. I'm sorry but that's just flat out bs. I was there 2008, class story wasn't just a selling point it was a MAJOR and extremely hyped selling point . People said bio wouldn't be able to sustain class stories and here we are, others now desperately making excuses for how it's ok and that we don't need class stories any more.
  14. I just love the fact that one of the new mascots for disney is a character that slaughtered children. I can't help but feel they didn't quite think that one through.
  15. Undoubtedly the programmers skills are good or they would not be working for a major company. What they work on and when they work on it however is dictated by whoever hands out the paychecks. If EA tells them making money comes first then, whether they like it or not, it comes first. Since the dawn of mmos forumites have insulted devs when its often not their call. It's just not right.
