  1. I was planning on keeping my augmented WH static power relics and making up the expertise elsewhere.
  2. Doesn't matter what MMO I am playing, out of sheer boredom and curiosity on occasion I like to come up with builds that are mostly useless but have 1 really awesome gimmick/reason for existing. As a result of my latest journey into 'W*T*F*-is-that-build-land', I present to you, the Thundersmash build. 5 21 20 Anni, Carnage, Rage The golden gimmick: Berserk > Gore > Ravage > Smash. Use Shii-Cho. Basically your 1 and only goal in life is to spend rage like a madman to build fury as fast as you can and dump it into Berserks for gored loller-smash. Want to maximize AE? Berserk > Gore > Smash > Dual Saber Throw > Sweeping Slash Still ST but Ravage is down? Berserk > Gore > Smash > Obliterate > Scream For those of you with sub-par reading comprehension that like to flame after reading the first two sentences of a thread: THIS IS A BUILD FOR FUN. I WOULD NOT DO SERIOUS PVP OR PVE WITH IT. That said, have fun! (Or don't. Whatever.)
  3. 7/10 Seems like some sort of spanish dude name with a mustache. My first thoughts anyway! I've had to change my Marauder's name with the server mergers, but my original name was, and always will be in my mind, Nosferatu Zodd. It is now Azmodan Boneshatter.
  4. Anni rotation basically consists of an opening sequence followed by a priority list. This is the opening rotation: Charge, Deadly Saber, Battering Assault, Rupture, Annihilate, Ravage. Then everything becomes a priority list and rage management. Priorities are like this: Charge/Deadly Saber (Always use together) Rupture Annihilate Ravage Berserk is off the GCD, so you can pop it pretty much any time you like without messing your rotation. Your bleeds are more overall damage than annihilate, so they take priority unless you are about to lose annihilator stacks. Pulverize makes it possible to clip your rupture bleed if you use it carelessly; always count 3 globals after you rupture before you think about hitting it again. After 3 globals, if rupture is up, it is safe to use without losing bleed ticks. I realize pulverize is on an internal 6 sec cooldown, but RNG is RNG and there are more than a few times when rupture finishes its CD naturally. Counting globals just makes things really easy and you have 1 less debuff to keep track of during a boss encounter. Only use ravage when both your bleeds and annihilate are on CD, and always channel the skill fully. (The damage is heavily back-loaded into the final strike.) The rest is rage management, which is the part that takes the most practice/finesse IMO, which means balancing your use of Assault, Battering Assault, and Viscous Slash. Never use Battering Assault if you have 7 or more rage, since Assault does more dmg and using Battering Assault would waste rage. If you have excess rage in the middle of an annihilate CD, dump it with Viscous Slash, but more than 2 at a time usually starves yourself unless you get really lucky with empowerment procs. You learn to get a feel for empowerment rage generation too, and sometimes you can take a gamble spending extra rage in hopes that empowerment will bring you back high enough to use your rage spenders without having to Assault. If it works, more DPS for you! If not, you'll have to Assault once or twice to catch back up again. For multiple mobs, I usually focus the strong mob, lead with smash to stun the little guys, then Intimidating roar to mez the rest while I kill the silver. (This is really personal preference though.) Obviously elites get obfuscated, and if I'm feeling really mean I'll pop Bloodthirst and an attack adrenal. TL; DR : lol u roll ur face on ur keeybord an den you pwns all tEH newbs! 11! 1!
  5. Logitech G13 Logitech G500 Mouse I use the side buttons for alt + shift modifiers, and the 3rd for PTT on Vent.
  6. Once per execution. Combined with enraged slash in the anni tree, this means in rage spec VS cost 2 rage non-crit, and is free if it crits. What is awesome is that during berserk the refund still works, so you actually GENERATE rage with VS. 1 rage normally, 3 rage if it crits.
  7. I wouldn't want to PVE in this build, but I found it fun to try in PVP for a bit and it was actually pretty effective. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#100bcZGGrozbMdZG0Rrz.1 Run it in Shii-Cho and just Viscous Slash your a** off. You get a Shii-Cho enhanced ravage for your gore window, and obliterate does 3k+ damage with gore up. (The jump is nice if someone kb's your gore too.) Very fun build! You also get force scream for 1 rage, unless you take the 80% predation instead.
  8. Interesting. I heard the Vindicator set mods are much better, will have to check it out. First off, I had no stims or adrenals available at the time. Secondly, parsing without using relics/cooldowns is perfectly valid. It gives you a dependable baseline benchmark of what damage you can do on average.
  9. Marauder here. Thought it might be useful to point out that we can also use our AOE fear as an interrupt.
  10. So, my main is a marauder, but I have a sin that is now level 41. I am going for the chain shock spec, but I had a question regarding a couple things in the deception tree. What is more valuable to have in a PvP context? Static Cling or Resourcefulness?
  11. Looks like you use a lot of PVE gear. How is pvp for you?
  12. Strength: 1360 Expertise: 1290 Bonus Power: 336.7 Crit Chance: 34.82% (With agent buff) Surge: 71.68% Class Buffs: All No stims or adrenals used at all, and no relics used. 1464 DPS over 5 min. Graph Damage Breakdown I did a 2nd parse with similar results, just to check consistency. Your bleeds should be anywhere from 35 - 40% of your damage. Annihilate is about 20% Ravage is about 15% Assault and Viscious Slash are around 8- 10%, depending on how much empowerment procs. Only use battering assault if you are at 6 rage or less, otherwise use assault. It does more damage.
  13. Point is the OP is wondering why your parse was so high compared to his. He is comparing your burst parse with adrenal popped to his 2 min sustained parse and wondering why it comes up so short. You're probably doing fine Jagil.
  14. 15 seconds in NOT a valid parse, that is burst dmg (Especially if cooldowns were used). Go 3 minutes minimum, preferably 5, then come back. I have two augmented WH weapons and the earpiece, rest is BM. I'll parse in a bit and post back.
  15. Assuming a full set of non-altered War Hero gear (double relics included), do you think the color crystals in the weapons would be better off giving 80 expertise or swap them to get 80 power? I'm not full WH yet, but I'm curious how much bonus 80 expertise gives you at that gear level.
