  1. Well, just because this one particular French person has done the most obvious wintrading and hacking in SWTOR history, it is nothing new. He was doing the exact same thing the seasons right before it. So apart from making sure he won't get his AC96 titles from last season, how about you also remove those he already has? Other than that, he is alledgedly a coder for Buddywing and the guy who wrote the hacks that are used to win on acid. Everyone is aware he has been banned numerous times before (goldselling and other violations of ToS). Maybe you should just permanently ban his account(s) instead of making it 24 hours like Bioware always does?
  2. The Red Eclipse always has been Republic dominant in Solo Ranked (S-1 up until S-6). It has only been Imperial dominant since the majority of Tomb of Freedom Nadd players transferred.
  3. This is not an accident, it is exactly planned and thus intended. This is exactly how MMO's operate. There need to be imbalances to keep people playing. You want people to keep rerolling classes, because that way they also need to grind new gear and so forth. It keeps them locked for years. If there was perfect balance, people would get bored. It wouldn't really matter what class you played if they're all equally strong - it would be a mere matter in taste of animations, weapon type, and so forth. Your class of choice would become merely a matter of esthetics rather than performance and functionality. They intentionally don't communicate, they leave classes broken for months (or years in Bioware's case) and at some point they just turn the tables. Merc has been terrible for several seasons while Sorcs (madness in particular) has been OP for several seasons. Now they just turn it the other way around. Hence, people reroll. Half-way 6.0 they will nerf mercs back to the ground and buff madness into the heavens again. That's how it works. Deal with it or stop playing the game. They do not read your feedback and even if they did, they couldn't be bothered - on contrary - they probably think "good, good, let them buy tokens to roll merc, grind merc gear, in 12 months they'll have to start all over on another class". Keeps you going, doesn't it?
  4. Concealment is still fine for Solo Ranked. Pro tip: don't use your rolls offensively if you don't have to. Concealment can easily hit 3.5k HPS while utilizing short burst frames to do sufficient damage to take down players, especially if you time your hardstuns well.
  5. Find a new game to play. Bioware does not and will not care about PvP - especially not ranked.
  6. People have secured 1600+ or top 3 one or several characters -> Bioware does not announce rewards -> Queues die It's like that every seasons. They not provide anything that encourages or something that motives people to keep playing. No rewards announced and the seasons take way too long. Even if they would announce it now, it's too late already. Besides, Eric officially stated they do not want exclusive items for Ranked PvP, thus we will end up with a mount that will get reskinned within a month. Everyone will be able to get the exact same items via CartelMarket™. A lot of people wonder: Why bother in that case?
  7. Whether you agree with the arguments within the post or not is kind of irrelevant. What I mean by this is that SWTOR devs would never communicate these kinds of arguments and considerations with the community. On the contrary, Bioware does not communicate anything with the PvP community at all. What was the last time a developer responded to a PvP thread with a highly detailed and elaborate response? (Did they ever?) The recent interview with Musco by Snave is exemplary. It was clear that Musco was not going to give any details, nor was he going to give any actual answers. Hence I stopped watching after 10 minutes. The reasons? Bioware does not care about PvP. It is an absolute minority that plays PvP, especially ranked. They make tremendous amounts of money with sleeping subs from casual players that primarily play Storyline™ and a flashpoint every once in a while. Other than that it is just Cartel Market™. Why would Bioware invest a lot of time and effort in ~5% (probably even less - nobody knows because they never communicate anything) of their player base? (Similar arguments apply for e.g. NiM content) TL;DR Do not ever expect this kind of posts from Bioware. Bioware does not care. Do expect them to read and/or respond to this thread either.
  8. Hay, Selling my guild since everyone, including myself, is inactive, semi-inactive or have quit the game completely. It includes a flagship with 4/15 unlocks and is fully decorated (i.e. maxed on current slots). There are still hundreds of decorations available for once there are more rooms unlocked. Some pics of the deck can be found here: http://tor-decorating.com/the-kassus-big-in-japan-gship-bridge-the-red-eclipse/ We also have a Nar Shaddaa headquarters but there's hardly anything there because of the ship. Guild bank is available with three vaults unlocked. Contents are yours although there is hardly anything of value in there. Guess the total worth of the whole bunch, or at least what we put into it including all unlucks and decorations, is far over 100 million credits. I'll sell the bunch for ~65 million (incl. a rename, depending on GTN price). Send me a PM here or message/mail me in-game if you're interested.
  9. Good to see you'll address the problems with (not) banning the hackers. That being said, will you also ask Musco when your wintrading guildies will get a ban, Snave? I am pretty sure you agree that needs some attention as well :rolleyes:
  10. This and only this. /thread
  11. They're legacy bound, genius. You can use them on all characters, especially since they have removed class specific mainstats. Put it in your legacy bay -> use it on any character -> profit???
  12. Current madness stronger skankheals than madness/corruption hybrid in 3.0? Current dps specs using tankstance (+some gear) stronger than veng/immortal hybrids in 3.0? Ayy lmao.
  13. Who gives a **** about 1v1 balance? This game is not designed around duels and it should not be.
  14. It's the most idiotic thing I've seen in a while. Obviously these people should be permabanned. And if not, Bioware should at least reset their rating and fix the arena's so they cannot use it anymore. The rating is still there, the possibilities are still there, thus there are still hackers.Simply because it is worth it. You can hack for weeks until they finally take action. Within that timeframe you can easily get ~2000 rating. You'll get a 7 day suspension and you're still good to go with your old rating. Seems legit, right?
