Ok so you did a search and found over 100k search results.....did you even try to find a legitimate download for a pvp hack?? And if so were you able to download it? My bet is NO. I've spent the last 30 mins trying to google a downloadable pvp hack and couldn't find a SINGLE ONE!! There was 1 site that supposedly had a speed hack but when you click on it, the site is now gone. I played this game from beta until January of this year and all in that time only saw 1 legitimate speed hacker in a wz and that was in the first year of launch. All these stories of hacks are completely blown out of proportion. My speculation is that the majority of the hacks caught on youtube are server lags or router/modem spikes. Do I think that there are legit hackers in the game? Possibly, But very few and far between. This is an overblown accusation that needs to be put to rest.

Greetings ya'all, here's a quick question: I unsubbed in January and today decided to take a look at the forums to see what the state of PvP is. I'm astonished not to see thread after thread about OP Operative heals, or nerf smash threads or too many FOM re-rolls. Am I to assume that the devs have finally found a balance in PvP?? How many ppl are online on weekends hanging out in fleet? Multiple instances? Thank you in advance for replies!!

Here is a problem that I have that I also think affects other people that solo que. I've been playing since beta. I've been in several guilds, none of which stayed together for more than a few months. Not my fault that so many people quit the game or went to other guilds. Next situation. I've tried to get with a couple of "pvp" oriented guilds and have got the same reply. When asked how much I play (only an hour a night during the week cuz I have a full time job and a family and maybe 3-6 hours on weekends) they kindly say: "We need dedicated players that are on every night, not casuals." So if there is a guild out there (pot5) that IS DECENT at pvp that doesn't have a "play 30 hours a week" mentality, then by god fill me in. Otherwise save your "make friends join a guild" argument for the dedicated multiple hours every day players.

Wait, are you seriously comparing real life military tactics by people that have volunteered their rights away to that of an MMO that people pay to enjoy?? SWTOR is a service for paying customers who would like a level playing field. It isn't an organization where people swear an oath to protect the nation. Don't compare the two.

Nothing can be done to save Arenas. It would be like putting a bow tie on a turd. Arenas blow and few want to play them. The novelty wore off. Audios

I'm also seeing more premades that play PUG STOMP obliteration lately. I think its because there has been alot of complaining on the boards about premades screwing up the solo que. So the premade fanbois are getting together and spawn camping the pugs to make their epeen swell because with all the complaining, it may come to an end for the pug stomping. The premade ****** don't want competition, they want easy wins....period.

Yes, the PVP forums are filled up with the premade issue. I too believe that pugs should have their own que. But its a numbers thing. Its hard to quantify how many people are for and against pugs having their own que, but this is true. If pugs get their own que, the premade fan bois will all quit because they will no longer have easy comm farming and easy wins. They don't want competition, they want easy wins and comms. The ones that say they just want to play with friends are masking the real issue of just wanting to roflstomp pugs. I think there would be a big fallout of subs if pugs get their own que and THAT is why the Devs wont comment on the issue.

I have posted in several threads about this very same topic.(yes there have been several) I too hate these lame *** arenas and quit every one the second I load in. Now for double xp weekend I tried to play a few but noticed even when winning an arena with double xp AND a 25% boost going, the max xp gained was about 8.3k. So I'm back to basics and quitting them again. This is what you're going to have to do in order not to play them as BW will most likely never get rid of them. If they ever increase the amount of xp gained from these things, it may be worth it to play them. But for now, in reg wz, they are worthless.

What pvp category are you fighting in? 10-29, 30-54, or 55? You will probably not see 6k damage or 6k heal unless you're in 55. Maybe in 30-54 once in awhile. Also depends on the wz you're in. AH will give the fewest amount of medals especially if you spend all your time fighting in the middle. You wont get defense or attack points fighting there. You also wont get those points if you fight away from any node/door, or as in the case of HB, away from the ball carrier. Going back to the 3k damage/heal medal, you should be getting that every time regardless of your level. (unless you're still under 20) You should also be getting "kill another player" medal every time too. (unless you're heals) Just a couple more things to think about for you

I've played this game since open beta. When the game first launched I used to see speed cheats fairly often. But probably since 1.2, I don't recall seeing any cheats at all. I see ppl with bad connections (probably DSL or something) that lag out. When I used to see cheats it would lag out the WZ so bad it was pretty easy to tell someone was running a hack. So I don't think you're seeing cheating the way you "think" you are. If I don't see it on youtube, I tend to not believe it.

I endorse this post. Tired of having to reload after dropping these lame Arenas. I'm sure the people in the group I quit don't appreciate it, but there ain't a chance in hell I endure 1 more Arena.

I play a Concealment Op which I think is very good a node guarding. However it depends on the map as to if I guard or not. In VS I'll rarely guard the node. CW maybe about 20% of the time. But in AH I almost ALWAYS guard. Since its the easiest node to ninja with the only 6 second cap time. I don't trust random ppl guarding those nodes, plus I'd much rather win a game than top the charts. As it is I pretty much exclusively play the objectives and not try to top charts. Take a look at how the game is going. If your team is getting roflstomped and the game is half or more over AND your stuck guarding. Then **** it, stop guarding and get in there and get your fighting experience. I mean you're team is going to lose anyway. Just type in a warning that your going to abandon your post. Just please dont be the dillwad I see time in and time out that runs to cap the node and leaves it to go fight without saying anything.
