  1. So your argument doesn't hold up and you resort to personal attacks against me and my guild? Congratulations. You are simply being unreasonable now and there is little point arguing with you. I seem to have angered you by disagreeing, so I shall take my leave.
  2. A noob whining about a class feeling overpowered is no more proof then what you suggest.
  3. There is clearly no point in arguing this with you when you are clearly so dead set on your ways, even your title claims to think you know all about expertise. I have confirmed it myself, so excuse me if I don't take you at your word. This is an absolutely ridiculous scenario, that might happen in .01% of games, if ever.
  4. Once again, you aren't including the whole picture, the amount of HP gained and crit chance gained needs to be factored in as well. 1396 Expertise is BARELY going to be noticeable from 1200ish, a healer will not be able to tell the difference, I can guarantee you that. You might be SLIGHTLY more durable with maximum expertise but going power crystals and two PvE armorings is a lot more efficient in your stat distribution. The difference between the two set ups are almost neglibile but the 1200ish expertise has been proven to be slightly more efficient when it comes to outgoing damage vs incoming damage tradeoff. Everything you say is based on your word and nothing else, you have no proof or data to back your claims up. The only thing you've done is use poor attempts at a test to prove that one is better then the other. The only thing you are doing is basing your opinion on how something "feels".
  5. Why should I give someone the benefit of the doubt when he is completely pulling "proof" out of thin air. Its not even proof, its observations made with absolutely no numbers to back it up.
  6. So let me get this straight, you used an ability that can hit between a certain range of damage (Not a static number), yours just happened to hit harder, and you call it proof that maximum expertise is superior? Jesus Christ, if you're going to claim something is superior, at least back it up with proof like those who did that math proving that 1200ish expertise is when you should stop stacking and swap to power due to the diminishing returns getting signifcantly higher. You aren't including the increased crit chance gained from the PvE armoring main stat as well as increased HP on top of your extra bonus damage gained. The stupidity of these forums is apalling.
  7. A few clicks, which would imply they use a hybrid method and the majority of abilities are keybound. Epic Fail, try again.
  8. A pure clicker will NEVER be able to play a melee character as well as a keybinder when it comes to fights that require heavy movement or PvP. When it comes to ranged classes, clicking is much more viable in PvE thanks to heavy reliance on cast times and channeled abilities over instant abilities and abilities off the GCD. In PvP mobility is king though. Over all keybinding is far more efficient, but based on some individuals that's not always the case.
  9. If you had actually bothered to read my post, I was talking about pure clickers as well as 16 man NiM EC which is MILES harder than 8 man NiM EC. The tanks fight is not the entire instance, it is ONE of the few fights that requires little movement for a marauder as shown in your video, they can literally leap to the lank, leap to the adds and leap back to the tank. Keybinding is not overrated in the slightest, it is extremely efficient for a number of abilities that don't respect the global GCD. If you had bothered to read my post and try to comprehend it instead of blindly defending a playstyle that isn't as efficient in several areas, you might understand the point I'm trying to get across. You can get away with clicking because you play a sniper, come back when you play any class that doesn't rely on cast times and heavy movement. I'm not the one stamping my feet, I'm the one actually providing an argument unlike you, who is simply calling people making arguments "bad at clicking". Can you get results as a clicker? Yes, will it ever be as efficient as keybinding? No.
  10. Get back to us when you've cleared 16 man NiM EC as melee bud . Ranged is ridiculously easy in PvE. Keybinds will always win out when it comes to classes that rely on heavy moment or positional abilities as melee, if ANYONE can play a scrapper even remotely successful as a clicker I will eat my hat, between abilities off the GCD, positional requirements and melee range you WILL NOT be able to keep up with a keybinder using a scrapper. Ranged classes are very clicker friendly thanks to cast times and GCDs, but even so, clicking is not as efficient when it comes to important abilities like finishers, threat drops, defensive CDs, offensive CDs and other abilities that don't respect the GCD. When all you have to do is use a simplistic rotation on a simple boss fight that requires no adaption, clicking will work great for you, but as soon as you start PvPing or doing the most difficult PvE content where you actual need to adapt and not just go through a "rotation", you will struggle. I'm not going to say keybinding is best for EVERYONE, that's simply not true, but for the majority (especially playing melee), if they learned to keybind they would be much more efficient in their ability usage.
  11. I'm telling you people, removing interrupts from all leaps would be an excellent start to helping ranged classes relying on cast times. Interrupts on leaps are excessive and unnecessary, especially when some classes are able to spec into 6 second interrupts. It might not be some mega buff that people think these classes need but its definitely something that would improve casting class gameplay without really effecting other aspects of the game significantly. Commandos and sages are both excellent DPS in PvE, the only reason they struggle so much in PvP is due to heavy reliance on cast bars and getting interrupted so frequently with leaps.

    Best PvP class

Definitely a hybrid shadow/sin, incredible node guarding and solo capabilities.
  13. 1 Point into double tick for a 12.5% chance of double ticking and one point into an additional 3 seconds duration for when vital shot is actually used.
  14. I'll see what I can do about getting you some parses today at some point. I think we are discussing full concealment, obviously if you were using lethality corrosive dart would be far higher on the priority list. Full concealment also won't be speccing into the reduced energy cost for corrosive dart.
  15. I've played them both quite extensively and concealment has a higher DPS ceiling then lethality, that doesn't mean you won't do well with lethality but with some time one can pull higher DPS with concealment then he ever will as lethality
