  1. I hate to say it, but I assume they are all rare drops from The Shrine of Silence Flashpoint. I have seen the Voss Trees (all 3) and the Voss Banner (Hanging) being sold on the GTN the first week of the update. I have done The Shrine of Silence 18 times and I only have one of the Voss Hanging Lanterns,
  2. AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Nvidia RTX 3060 TI Windows 10 Home / 64 Bit Overall a very good experience. No crashes, but on one login I experienced a black screen and no way to fix without restarting the game. Some planet load screens were very long, like Makeb and Rishi. Tooltip tied to mouse pointer does not work for me. It kept resetting to a location. As mentioned above, Eternity Vault has issues with invisible platforms in Gharj's and Soa's rooms. Please add a setting to skip asking if you want to pay to quick travel to a location.
  3. Do you think you'll PvP more or less than you did before the update? The same amount, which is a few times a week. Do the rewards on the reward track make you want to PvP specifically to earn them? Yes, but I hope it goes past level 25. Do you think you'll queue for 8v8 Warzones or 4v4 Arenas equally? Equally, or 4v4 if time is limited. Do you feel the new Warzone medals will encourage objective play? Unsure? Is it clear how to earn PvP points and progress the Season reward track? Yes, though it is not clear how many you earn from winning or losing a match, so I can only guess it's based on medals as well. What is your overall impression of the changes to the PvP season system? A big improvement for casual and regular PvP players. A downgrade for ranked players. What do you like the most about the changes to the PvP season system? The Season track and the new arena. What do you like the least about the changes to the PvP season system? I think the old ranked rewards should be a bit more difficult to obtain in 7.2. What is one change or adjustment you would like to make on the new PvP Season system, what would it be, and why? Make the weekly objectives more challenging. A few things: - Can't track PvP Season weekly objectives. - Did not get credit towards any weekly objectives. - Scoreboards should break down the match a bit more on the first tab. It seems like they combine both healing and damage done. - Right clicking the pvp icon on the tray will only allow you to queue for a single type of PvP.
  4. Do you feel your group was able to progress in power through the Operation? Yes, slowly. Do you think improvements could be made to make it easier to progress as a group? If so, what do these improvements look like? Yes. Seeing a rebalance to the IP-CPT HM fight would be great and I would be happy if it were prioritized. Rebalancing would help those of us who are working on R4 HM get to the later bosses quicker each week, and it would help bring more players into R4-HM who might be dissuaded by the first boss's difficulty now. I personally believe that the entire group makeup should not have to change for one fight. This slows down progression in multiple ways: multiple people have to play different classes and roles that they are not used to. Players then have to leave the operation (and face a likely game crash on the loading screen) to swap to their main role after the boss is down. I would love to see some bug fixes as well, because they also slow down progression. Fixing zombie frames, dealing with loading screen crashes, the IP-CPT doorway being aggro-able, and the ad during the Lord Kanoth fight all cause small issues that add up. Did you want to upgrade your Hazardous gear? Yes How quickly were you able to upgrade your Hazardous gear? Very slowly because of the first boss causing such a bottleneck every week. Was Hazardous gear helpful in completing The R-4 Anomaly? Yes Do you like the look of these armor sets? Sorry, no. They are certainly on-theme for the operation, but not my cup of tea. Did you attempt to clear The R-4 Anomaly to earn these armor sets? For that purpose? No. Is there anything you’d like to see from future Operations armors? I would like to see blue and purple mods from Hyde and Zeek for 340. I understand why that is not currently a feature, but I would expect it in the future. Do you like the look of this mount? Very much. Did you attempt to clear The R-4 Anomaly to earn this mount? Yes, but I don't really expect to ever get one. Is there anything you’d like to see from future Operations mounts? One per operation would be great, that's it. Maybe... a 10% drop chance?
  5. Did anyone actually get this out of an Apprentice Pack? I'm super excited for it, but I don't want to get my hopes up because Collections tends to advertise items that don't actually come out when it says they will.
  6. Do you have an open schedule or certain days/times you would prefer to raid?
  7. Bounty Tracker's Gloves require Newcomer with Bounty Brokers Association. You can pick them up from the vendor in the Cartel Bazaar area on the Fleet. Basically a smaller version of the Eradicator's gloves, they do have spikes.
  8. It's a shame the game still crashes for some at the end of The Esseles. I've had that issue for a long, long time.
  9. Still bugged for me as well. Shuttle says Access Denied, even though I have the shuttle codes and am on the correct step of the mission. The other members of my group were able to board the shuttle.
  10. Yes, you have the option to do that.
  11. 1. Excluding vanity stuff, what would you recommend spending my Cartel Coins on? Anything extremely useful you can think of, or other worthwhile investments? The Rocket Boost unlock is extremely useful; it's increases your movement speed like you're on a speeder for 12 seconds. Unlocking more of the perk will decrease the cooldown time. If you're not buying experience boosts on the GTN, maybe consider buying some from the cartel market. 2. Okay, fine, what vanity stuff would you recommend? I really like opening up cartel packs (unique but random cartel market gear/items) or specific sets that you like. 3. What Legacy bonuses should I prioritize unlocking, and is it worth spending Cartel Coins on them? Rocket Boost applies to this as well, but I think unlocking Priority Transport to your ship (character unlock) is extremely useful and time saving, and you can also unlock a legacy wide perk that will decrease the cooldown time of it . I think both of those are unlocked with credits though, but they're still worth mentioning since they are legacy unlocks. 4. Speaking of Legacy and Cartel Coins, does stuff I buy on the Cartel Market apply to all my characters, or just the one I bought it on? Legacy unlocks will generally apply to all of your characters on the server. Cartel Market items you buy will be usually character specific, BUT there is a fairly new Collections system (inventory, collections button on the bottom) that gives you the option of unlocking item sets for your legacy or other characters. 5. Crafting skills. How do you make sense of the huge mess that these lists eventually turn into? I literally get lost in there. I guess I'm so used to it by now that I can't really suggest anything to help you navigate them. THIS is worth posting, it'll give you a good idea of how to level crew skills without using more materials than you need to. 6. Any recommendations for customizing the GUI (screenshots would be appreciated)? I know it's problematic to answer since everyone has a different style, but it'd be easier for me to take an existing template and tweak it than to design something from scratch. I have three long action bars on the bottom center of my screen, with my portrait on the left, and target on the right. I made my UI a bit smaller so the action bars aren't ridiculously big. Everything else is pretty much the default. 7. How does one acquire purple lightsaber crystals? Seriously, these things are beautiful. GTN. 8. Are Sith Purebloods supposed to get Dark Side corruption? I noticed that they do, but is that just an oversight (or maybe an extra option since you can easily turn it off), or accurate lore-wise? Because I'll admit I'm not overly familiar with the Star Wars universe, so I figured the Purebloods don't get the corruption effects because the Dark Side is a much more natural thing to them than to the other races. Also, red over red is kinda hard to see. So what's the truth about this? I have NO idea. 9. Is there any companion in the game who uses a Shock Staff? I keep finding these and selling them because I don't know which character of mine (if at all) to mail them to. I can't think of any that do. 10. With as little spoilers as possible, I'd love to know which classes can have a good, logical storyline with both alignments. This is going to be pretty basic because I don't remember the stories well enough to actually describe them. Republic: Trooper: I really liked this storyline. Very logical light side. Interesting dark side, I wimped out on some dark side choices. I've played this one the most. Knight: Very good storyline, makes you feel like an important Jedi. Good with both alignments, very intriguing dark side story. Consular: I'm not a fan of this storyline in general. Dark side was really evil but light side felt right. Smuggler: Good storyline, but there were a couple times where I was disappointed in the story. Still worth playing, one of my favorites. Very fun dark side, light side is logical. Imperial: Inquisitor: Fun story, was the first one I played so it's a little fuzzy. Dark side is probably more logical; I went light side and still really enjoyed it. Warrior: Very fun storyline. Dark side was perfect, light side is probably fun as well. Bounty Hunter: Very fun story. Good with either alignment. Imperial Agent: My favorite storyline. Dark side and light side both seemed logical, but I felt a little too evil with some dark side choices. With my last few characters, I've just gone pretty much down the middle with my alignment. If I am working towards dark or light side, I'll build that up with PLANET missions. My class story decisions are usually just what I'm feeling that day. Alignment isn't a big deal, it only matters for sub 50 relics. 11. About the Rakghoul event. Does the antidote from the medical droids work if you're already infected, or does it only prevent infection? Also, how long does it last? It will cleanse your infection and lasts for 6 hours. 12. Regarding Guilds. While the XP and Reputation bonuses sound really nice, I wouldn't want to commit too much only to disappoint by not being active enough. Are guilds generally very demanding and such, or do they tend to be laid back and leave you alone until you ask to do some stuff (flashpoints, heroic missions, social grinding on the Black Talon/Esseles, etc.)? There are some guilds that were created just so people could have a guild experience boost. You can find one that is laid back and doesn't care about activity. Remember to use cartel experience boosts.
  12. You shouldn't need to be a low level to get a specific drop like that, however Torhead's loot tables are sometimes misleading because it's possible that many, many enemies drop the piece(s) you're after instead of the specific one's you're farming. If you're able to, it's probably easier to buy the set on the GTN.
  13. If you have the expansion (Rise of the Hutt Cartel), I suggest you go to the planet Makeb and do the missions there. You can get the starting mission for Makeb from your ship. That should get you close to level 55. You can purchase Experience Boosts from the GTN to get you there faster. You have missed a lot, but you'll get caught up in no time. Do the missions on Makeb and get to 55, then start using the group finder button on your mini map to queue for some Flashpoints and then HM Flashpoints. After that you can start doing the story mode operations. Terror from Beyond, Scum and Villainy first, then Dread Fortress and Dread Palace later on when you get used to playing again. There are probably a lot of new features for you to figure out. Group finder may be a new thing for you - it just groups together random people and can save you time. We now have a Cartel Market, where you can buy extra items to customize your game, but nothing that will give you a real advantage. Commendations have changed a lot, but don't worry about that until you hit 55. All the vendors are basically in the same place if you remember. Quests in your mission log will show you what rewards they offer when you complete them.
