  1. I'm level 43 Belsavis and wonder will I be able to just rush the class quests. If I remember correctly the Belsavis dailies are started with a "Bonus Series" does that mean I will have to complete the main planet quest to do so? Will I be able to access the Corellia dailies without completing the planet quest as well?
  2. It appears that Temple uses dual blaster pistols. However her primary stat is cunning and finding cunning on blaster pistols is no small feat. Is it ok to just give her blaster pistols with +aim instead?
  3. Red Tails is restitution to the black community for creating Jar Jar Binks.
  4. I have Diplomacy, Investigation and Underworld training. I ran into the problem of the 50 cap my first week. I got around it by not splitting my stacks. It works because I post less auctions and don't have to go through the pain of the clunky interface for stack splitting.
  5. My insurance policy for new MMO launches is to ROLL ON THE MOST CROWDED SERVER AT LAUNCH. Sure you may have to put up with queues for a few weeks, but the population/economy won't die near as quickly.
  6. The term "server community" coming from the buggy whip lobby of SWTOR is laughable. People ARE ALREADY complete ***-hats on my server with the lack of respect for the time of others, gear etiquette and patience for players learning the ropes of tanking and healing. Anonymous cross-server grouping couldn't breed a lot of bigger jerks than what's already around Imperial side The Swiftsure. To impede the progress of players with less time and networking prowess available due to your make-believe idea of "community" is simply elitist nonsense.
  7. It went into the pockets of George Lucas so he could finance Red Tails, which is his apology to black people for creating Jar Jar Binks.
  8. If you set your expectations too high on anything you will be disappointed. I laugh when I see folks who have been signed up on this board for over six months gasp in disappointment. All it seemed to have gotten them is two extra days of play time to a game they don't even like. Why not have a fraction of the patience you had anticipating the release over multiple business quarters? I started on these boards when I joined the near-open beta on Thanksgiving. I'm not disappointed with this product at all! I'm having a great time with this game and it is fulfilling my expectation of being a good time waster before Diablo 3, GW2 and MoP. Between paying for the no-frill digital download of the game and a few months of some subscription time, I'll be happy to have shell out the $120 that Bioware will have earned.
  9. It makes ganking lowbies on Alderan and Hoth a hell of a lot more fun. It takes a good ten to twenty minutes for their level 50 guildies to step in and deal with me .
  10. IMHO, WoW is better. However I canceled my WoW and Rift accounts and am playing SWTOR until at least March because I am having fun. WoW may be better and more polished, but at this moment in time I ENJOY SWTOR MORE.
  11. @OP, It's your own damn fault you don't touch the GTN. When you whine and complain about the crappy interface and let it be an excuse not to use the greatest money maker in the game available, I have zero sympathy for you. Once you get around the initial clunkiness, it is very easy to determine the market price and sell off your raw crafting materials from gathering professions. Also if it's your first toon on an MMO, for God's sake never pick up a crafting profession. Crafting loses you money and has no benefit. Do all gathering. I dinged 49 last night and have 1 million credits. I have Diplomacy, Investigation and Underworld trading maxed out. I never had problems affording anything with regards to speeder training and skills. All this was done without the OP slicing I must add.
  12. I'm an operative and dinged level 48 and 49 on Voss. In general I stuck to the fleet to train my skills but decided to use the local trainer in Voss-Ka as I was in the area. Ever since I hit level 40 I remember skills costing in the neighborhood of 30-50k when I used the fleet trainer. To add insult to injury they were crappy skills I never use like Snipe and Explosive Probe. However when I used the Voss trainer I trained nice stuff like Oribtal Bombardment and the highest level of Backstab for around a mere 9.5k. Is this bugged or are planet side trainers supposed to be cheaper than the fleet? Unfortunately I only have one level left to test my theory, as I'm not going to roll an alt to find this stuff out. Has anyone noticed cheaper prices on planets not Voss?
  13. It makes the economy 24/7 and is making me quite wealthy in the way of credits. Take the good with the bad I say.
