    A PvP a Day...

Probably going to start as a Scoundrel, figured it would be easier to learn basics as a DPS then start an alt healer then an alt tank.

    A PvP a Day...

I just thought it was hilarious :-) Anyway I've decided to create a character on Harbinger tonight and try to get together with S-Key. While I am East Coast and have been enjoying queuing solo, I think I'm ready to learn some intermediate aspects of PvP such as which classes to focus, which CCs to cleanse, and other tactics that can only be learned from playing with other people.

    A PvP a Day...

Unfortunately I am on Jedi Covenant, I looked on the forums but I didn't really see any interesting PvP guilds. I saw a few during Warzones but when I try to whisper the members afterwards, it says Player not found. If you have any recommendations, let me know. On another note I finally became THAT person today..... I am currently level 28. Although I am a sub using the 12x XP, I've been taking it slow and queuing constantly. So I got into a Huttball match just now and after a few minutes I noticed that my entire team has decided to play Team Deathmatch in the middle while the opposing team is simply stealth passing constantly. When the score hit 0-4, I couldn't control myself and typed "***, are you all doing? Why are you not playing the objective" in OPS chat. I became the rager PVP guy for a second. Of course no one responded and continued dying in the middle. After my outburst I quickly realized that my typing would fall on deaf ears so I continued to just play my way and learn. I just thought it was funny that my noob self reacted that way.

    A PvP a Day...

I've played Swtor on and off casually for about a year. I seriously PvPed for my first time last night. I wanted to feel like a bad *** so I rolled a Juggernaut. The forums shouted Vengeance but I said nay.....Rage rolls off the tongue better. Got to level 10, queued for a warzone, and got massacred. The next 3 matches, I told everyone in the ops channel I was a newb and asked if they had any advice. The ops leader asked if I knew how to make pancakes....I said yes...he said do that. At that moment I was determined to figure this **** out if it killed me, so I played for 4 hours straight until eventually everyone on my server fell asleep and queues no longer popped. Result? I started dying less, earning more medals, winning more matches, and climbing the scoreboards at the end of my matches. Am I a PVP god? Hell no! Was I playing against "bads"? Maybe. But if there's hope for a guy like me then anyone can do it if they put their mind to it.
  5. Just wanted to say thanks to the OP and Icykill_ for all of their insight and advice. I am a total PvP noob (Been PvPing all of 4 hours) and their posts have been extremely helpful along the arduous learning process.
  6. Brand new to PvP but so far I've been having a blast in Warzones. I'm currently a lvl 22 Concealment Operative and I queue constantly during leveling to learn. Looking for a good guild to give me some direction.
  7. I'm totally new to PvP and rolled an Operative to give it a shot. I have to say that so far I'm having a blast but it could be that I'm just against equally inexperienced players. So far I'm level 16 and usually open with stealthed backstab>laceration>laceration>shiv>Overload shot spam until shiv comes backup or flashbang/deb and run away until I can stealth again. Not sure if it's the right thing to do but all of the info on the forum is geared more towards a level 60. I'm just looking for general tips and information on what I should be doing in PVP. I know I need to "L2P" but I'm trying. :-)
