  1. Are corrosive grenade and corrosive dart the only things that count as poison affects when cull is used?
  2. I used Engineering while levelling and respecced to MM at ~level 40. I've been thinking about engineering again, but what are the benefits of this spec at level 50? I mostly pvp but do the occasional HM too. People say MM sucks because most of the damage can be mitigated, but with engineering the only abilities I can think of that are different are explosive probe and interrogation probe. They both have long cooldowns and don't really do that much damage so I'm not sure if it's worth it. Plasma probe is okay for defending things in PVP I suppose. I don't know if it's worth losing things like 1.5sec ambush. What's the reason people prefer engineering? Just wondering if I'm overlooking something.
  3. I've only made the cryo-shock one so far and am about to make another one now. I was interested in the firestorm one. Does the DoT on this one stick to everyone that's in the target area when the grenade lands, or do they have to stay in the target area for the DoT to keep ticking? What would people say is the best one for pvp? and is the 5 min cooldown shared between all different grenades?
  4. This is probably a strange thing to ask considering I'm level 50, but I didn't do any flashpoints other than BT while I was levelling up. Where can I find more info about them? I can find tactics and things on youtube, but I don't even know where to go to start them. I know there's a few on a different level of the imperial fleet station, but when it comes to things like The Flase Emperor or Directive 7 (think those are the names) I'd look pretty stupid if I joined a group and had to ask where I need to go to enter the zone. I'm also curious about the difficulty. I noticed there's a seperate daily mission for four of the flashpoints (including the two listed above I think). Are these ones more difficult than the regular ones or do they have their own mission for another reason? Thanks!
  5. I posted about this in the class forums earlier. I do okay in warzones but considering I have zero heals, have to be in cover to use most abilties (even knockback which other classes can use freely) and die pretty quickly, I feel I should be a bit more powerful. People say we're supposed to be a 'glass cannon' but our damage output isn't high enough to warrant that title. Healer/dps hybrids with equal level gear shouldn't be able to comfortably do more damage than us. We have more drawbacks and restrictions than other classes so we should be able to pump out more DPS than them to make to make up for it.
  6. This drives me crazy, it doesn't make any sense that we can't use cover just because we're stuck in the place
  7. It's bad enough that a snipers knockback can only be used when in cover, but it doesn't even work a lot of the time. I just ran up to a group of 4 people in Huttball, crouched directly in the middle of them and used cover pulse and nothing at all happened. It's been this buggy since release and it's really annoying.
  8. At the very least they need to allow it to be used when we're rooted.
  9. I remember reading something about this a while ago but I can't remember what it said. I just got some purple pants from HM BT and they have a mod and an enhancment. What I want to know is, can I extract them and put the mods in my orange pants so I can then also have an armoring slot too?
  10. Does anyone else feel like it's pointless playing the warzones properly? Huttball is the best example. I just played a game and we totally steamrolled the other team. I scored twice and set up some other goals. I totally lost out in the end because I chose to complete the objectives instead of farming medals. I contributed to the victory more than anyone else and got the least reward since I only got medals for 75k damage, 2.5k single hit and killing blow. I think each time you score, or each time you capture a point from the enemy or plant/difuse a bomb you should be awarded an additional medal. It will certainly encourage teamwork.
  11. Completely agree with all this, but I don't expect anything to be done about it. They only seem to bother with nerfing whatever it is that people are complaining most about. It doesn't seem likely that they'll fix/buff a specific class. Things aren't totally unbearable.   12. This is seeming like a huge waste of time for me so far. Hopefully I'm overlooking something or there's more to it than I've discovered so far. Are the only missions available and the only way to earn champion bags via the daily and weekly missions which requires 30 and 150 enemy kills? Is there more to do than these two missions? I've been there for an hour and so far I'm 13/30 and 13/150 for these. There just aren't any republic players around. Is the only point of controlling all 5 areas for the valor boost? Doesn't the game ever end and someone is a winner, or is the only point to the whole thing to kill people of the opposing faction to fulfill a mission objective? Hopefully there's more to it and I just haven't realised yet.
