GREETINGS FELLOW SAPIENTS! Its that time again! Alli-Tek is hosting another Droid Battle Brawl Spectacular. Bring your sons and daughters, your friends and neighbors, heck, even invite your nemesis! There's drinks, talk, and a few rounds of entertainment. We will be having our regular protocol droid matches. We'll run a round of our TImed event. Finally, if we can find them, we'll line up whatever actual combat models come our way, and let them duel to the death*! This celebration is of course put on in support of the Widows and Orphans of the Reclamation of Taris. So if you feel generous, please donate to WORT, those needy saps need all the support they can get. What do you mean I shouldn't call them saps? Fine, I'll call them sorrowful souls... what do you mean its too late? This is live? Then saps it is! And of course, when you need tech, think Alli-Tek! * All damaged droids will be repaired, refurbished or replaced with a similar model free of charge! Ooc-ness Tuesday June 16, 9 PM EST Chimaera wishes to present a community wide event. We will have people both on Imperial and Republic sides offering invites, as well as having the hosting Tatooine Stronghold (Vraken's Trade Emporium) open to the public. Attendance is free, participation in the brawl itself is by donation, so potentially also free! Prizes will be given out for every event and participant. Even if you don't feel up for participating, all stripes are welcome to come along and simply Roleplay the night away.

Thank you to Deceptus and Sranishor of Transcendence, Wraloa of Penumbral, and Fahtum of Reformation for participating in our event. Sranishor won the Classic Brawl, while Fahtum was the last man standing in our Timed match. I would also like to thank all of the lovely people who came just to hang out, watch and add in their commentary! I think I saw like 8 Penumbral people!

We now also have an event scheduled for June 27th, which is open to anyone wanting to attend, either faction. It'll have outfit contests, and an RP date auction. The main community page will show the proper date as soon as I can get hold of a forum moderator.

We have to change the date due to a conflict of interest with the host's work. For some reason, telling them to postpone things cause we have a planned internet event doesn't go over well with his employer's. About to repost this, with the new date. Our judges, secreted among you, will pick a winner of each category, and the announced winners will receive a prize of 100,000 credits. First we will ask that each guest arrive in their Formal attire, and at key points through the night, change into their Combat attire, and finally their Casual attire. "Finally, the evening shall conclude with a Date Auction, where select volunteers will be placed on the block, to be auctioned off to you, our guests, for the length of a single date. The date auction is fairly straight forward, it runs as a normal auction, with a single RP date with the auctionee as the bidding prize. The auctionee receives half of the amount bid on them. There will be limited space for volunteers. The event itself will be held in a SH, limiting occupancy to 50 people, so come early.

Elgyn of Sons of Korriban took home both the overall winner prize and the prize for most creative droid name T1-V0 (Tivo I couldn't stop laughing) It was a small gathering, but fun nonetheless, and we tried out a new second event with a hot potato timed bomb. Sranishor of Transcendence won that one. Sorry Luniara, no Penumbral folk showed up at all.
