Can't really vouch about it, but having Legacy unlocks could help out with XP. If I remember correctly, you can get up to +30% XP gain in Class Quests. Or (I know you said you didn't want to do side quests) you could do heroics with other players or help someone, who looks for a group while you're on the planet.

That's how it worked before.......

Idea for a budget pc build, 550 to 650
AnthonyDraft replied to SoN-oF-yipi's topic in STAR WARS Discussion
Where do you live exactly? And do you want a completely new PC (with case, OS, Power supply etc.) If you want a completely new PC including OS and case, and and you live in US: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3CRqS for 550$ range; http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3CARJ for 650$ range; And a build if you already have OS and a case: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3EjRE for 550$ range; http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3C60j for 650$ range. -
You can only do 5

Comparing Swtor to other MMOs: Community fracture
AnthonyDraft replied to DarthAgonny's topic in General Discussion
Here is a comment from a reddit user(werbear) in Smite subreddit that I think is relevant to this thread. "Wrong way to give suggestions: "Smite should be more like this game, and therefore we need this feature." Better way to give suggestions: "This feature is quite usefull - it also works in this game, so it might work in Smite." Giving other games as examples is not wrong by any means - but taking another game as the goal that Smite should strife to achieve is plain stupid." -

Well I barely play MMOs, so some obvious stupidities can not be so obvious for me, but from what I gather you should always complement your playstyle by looking various guides as guidance. There is no right or wrong in that. At least you have decency to give advice on other resources without any bias.

I answered in red text on some of your specific sentences. I'm a rather new player in MMOs and I've been using Noxxic for WoW, mainly because it was the first thing shown to me, and for a new player like me, it was very clean and appealing. With time you realize that written guides aren't supposed to be a "rule" of how to play the class but as an actual guide to help you move forward. It lets you get familiar with your class that's all. As you said - Force Potency doesn't stack with Force Technique Force Breach (at least that's how I understood it), but that doesn't matter IMO. If Force Breach doesn't proc it, then Project will, or Force in Balance, or Mind maze etc. Its not reliable - I could argue with that, but then again, no other guide is. That's why there are other resources available, but none of them are clearly better then any other guide. Some may be more detailed on explanation then other but that doesn't make them any better.

From a casual point of view, Noxxic is a good source to get the basics of a class/spec especially when playing an alt you're not too knowledgeable about. Noxxic's layout is simple to understand and good for that: the basics. It's good when you don't feel like reading a 15 pages class guide filled with excel spreadsheets and exhaustive theorycrafting most casual players don't care about.

While I would love to play as Togruta, I'd also wouldn't mind playing Pandorans as well.

It can happen with any faction. I remember my friend had 7 winstreak against the Empire, so take it for what it is worth. You just had an unlucky day, just like everyone have.

So, I've been seeing these social items vendors in almost in every cantina, but the offered stock seems a bit underwhelming imo. I know they can be modded, but is it really that great of an investment to invest in buying the item + mods?
