  1. Last night one of the servers, Dalborra, quite simply died. First people were unable to send mail. Then people who tried logging in (while it was on Light population) ended up queued. Then it died and we couldn't connect at all. This is for a server in the APAC region at a time with minimal players. Whatever it is that could take it down like that could happen to any of the big ones during prime time. You don't want that.
  2. Basically it rewards players for being in semi-random groups. If it's not random at all, then why would it reward you? However you can try to get it to work for you, you form in to groups of 2, then both hit group finder, there's a good chance you'll find each other then game on.
  3. I've generally had good experiences with the group finder, except last night. Normal mode foundry run, on my shield-tech tank in the tank slot. Add in a couple of people in the DPS slots, all good. Then finally add a sorcerer in the healer slot. I figured it'd be a cakewalk as I'm 41 and have been able to handle the FP at level previously with some people under level. Running through and doing the whole tanking thing and I start to notice something, there's no healing happening for me other than my kolto surge, nothing whatsoever from our healer sorc. So eventually I ask the simple question of them "Are you a DPS spec?" Their answer was yes. It didn't surprise me that we wiped on HK due to no heals. I expected at the least that people would have selected their correct roles. So I left the group. I also agree, the DDO social panel over-all is rather impressive, be it friends list (being able to export and import and so on), the guild list which tells you when people were last on, or the group list which allows you to specify individual classes and level ranges. We could do with it influencing design decisions for TOR.
  4. I just hope this maintenance is to fix something pretty critical that couldn't wait till tuesday. If it's just a minor cosmetic fix, then it's somewhat pointless to do it now when it could easily wait.
  5. Personally I think the idea that after the event ends, the scenic elements that were added like the Wreck of the Stardream remains to add persistent content. Maybe a small dash of the plague for flavour. Future events should be similar. The event happens over a limited duration of like a week, then it ends and we have historic scenic elements to uf old-timers something to regale our apprentices and younglings about.
  6. That happened to my Juggernaut once. I found it amusing.
  7. Any chance someone could post an image of the new styled dread masters? It'll be awhile till I next run a character through that quest.
  8. - The originating server which you want to transfer a character from: VROOK LAMAR - Destination server: Dalborra - The names of characters on that server: Aranis Elsheesa Cruciatus Sushinesh Thassnay Ashketchim - Your specific issues with the form - buttons not available, dropdowns not working, etc TOTAL BLANK WHITE SCREEN, DOES NOT LOAD. PREVIOUSLY WHEN IT DID LOAD NO BUTTONS WERE CLICKABLE
  9. If I recall right that's the Heroic area which you have to taxi to once you get the right quest.
  10. The digital items from the digital deluxe edition aren't really worth the money. If you're going to do it, grab the physical collectors edition for the physical items.
  11. You're choosing to damn one man for his choices. That's dark.
  12. Well I can give him tech gifts for him liking me, so that's happened. As for the parts, those were meant to be from the repair droid for the ship.
  13. Well people are talking about force choking chickens, so I figured it was somewhat appropriate.
  14. Wait, doesn't pollo mean chicken in some language?
