  1. I'd like to see this but unfortunately the mechanics may prove a problem. What sort of Speed gain would these mounts provide? Can you really justify them being faster than a t3 speeder? If not then what use will they be other than for 10 minutes of fun to say look what I've got! I suppose they could go Something along the lines of Taun Taun: Same as T2 speeder achieved by completing quest on hoth rather than purchasing? Dewback: Speed of T1 speeder but with increased resistance to being knocked off. Lizard thing Obi rides: T3 speeder speed and higher jump? Any other suggestions? And yes although WoW had animal mounts it was not the first, it would be in line with SW Lore and of course you're a troll!
  2. I found pretty much the same set up i was looking to buy with the 6790, 8gig DDR3 Corsair RAM, Quad-core 3.30g, 16gig RAM compatible, legit windows 64bit For around £500+p&p Out of curiousity what price range are you looking at there?
  3. The heavy fabricator on KP has a different effect every rocket/laser you fire at him. And he does a damage boosting buff aswell as armour.
  4. FML! I blame the up 'til 2am playing for that error! LMFAO! Yeah so...... erm belt and MH. Belt will most likely be drop from new FP released with 1.2. The second part to the Outbreak in Tion hegemony questline.
  5. Two drops missing Belt and Waist. Also MH but that is currently only from end boss Ops ATM.
  6. I also noted that some advanced skills are worthless to buy if they don't fit into your role. For e.g. I was Shadow DPS, buying the likes of Guard,Mind Control and Mass Mind Control that are tanking abilities was pointless. Due to some of these at later levels costing upwards of 20k an ability it seemed like a massive sink.
  7. Cheers all, some decent feedback here. Seems I'm not actually too far off the mark as a new Tank. So far I've kind of jumped in at the deep end by re-speccing and 5 minutes later tanking Esseles and FE. Next night FE and the night after FE and Kaon. A few errors on my part but nothing major and mostly just learning to judge aoe ranges (Slow Time seems to affect a larger radius than the animation displays and Breach has no animation to help judge range.) but all that will come with practice I guess I'm off-tanking Karagga's Palace tomorrow so that should throw the gauntlet down
  8. this is exactly what i thought. Any DPS level 50 can 1v1 a HMFP trash mob and loose less than 10% health. This is different from party dynamics in other MMO's where the tank controls everything. I seem to have to ask the DPS to take out the trash mobs first almost everytime i'm running FP's and thought that I might be asking for a tactic that was not common knowledge.
  9. Sounds good. So am i right on concenrating my aggro gain on the harder mobs though? And practically aggroing the trash by Aoe only?
  10. okay guys thought I'd post this in here as although I'm not a New Player (been 50 a while) I've only just re'spec'd to Tank tree and I'm wondering what the priorities are for tanking. I've ran a few HMFP's as tank now but I'm having a few problems (nothing major just means a little extra work). My main problem as a Shadow tank is that i find I can sometimes accidently break CC's especially in FE HM. Force breach does not have a defined range for "nearby enemies" but i assume this will come in time to be able to judge the range. The biggest problem i seem to have is the healer almost instantly pulling hate from me with all but the target I'm foccusing on after a few seconds. What I have been doing is this: In a room with 7 enemies in for example, 1 Elite, 2 Strong and 4 trash: I've been Force Pulling the Elite while running towards the Strongs. Switch target to the strongs and use projects on one of them. By that time the majority of mobs are closed in around me so i use Force breach and Slow time to Max effect. I then switch target back to the strong and keep building hate on him using Mass Mind Control and Mind Control wherever possible. My Rotation goes: Force Pull>Project>Mind Control>Slow Time>Force Breach>Mass mind Control>Project>Tele Throw>Repeat (Keeping def. buffs at the same time) My problem comes as soon as I get healing from a party member they seem to pull all the trash off me in an instant leaving me with the Elite and Strong. Also ranged trash that is not in range of my AoE hate builders auto turn on him. What I've done is told DPS to take out the trash first then the Strong's then the Elites. this is what i always did as a DPS and sort of took it for granted it was the correct way. In this game should I just really be tanking the Strong/Elite/Champ mobs and ignore the trash? Or shoud I be tanking everything? Trash can be taken out in an instant by most DPS anyway. Sorry this is a bit disjpointed and long winded but it's hard to find a way to explain it in an easy to read way.
  11. Yeah that's kind of what we've been running. I just recently re-specced from Infiltration to Kinetic to be an Off-tank or Main tank in our guild as we only had One and were reliant on him entirely. Which means I still have all my Collumi DPS gear. Well we've got a run tomorrow night and I've done PUG groups of KP before and there are some sections that require 2 tanks for ease. Jorg and w/e are like that.
  12. So is optimal set up for Ops 1 tank or two. I was under the impression it was; Tank Off-tank DPS x4 Healer x2
  13. Fantastic mate. It's just we already have an 8 man group for our first KP run but we wouldn't mind taking more IF we could. Cheers for that.
  14. Hey all I'm starting to organise Ops runs for the guild and we've been running EV 8 man normal. As more and more people hit 50 we're rotating players out to accomodate newcomers. My question is, is it possible to run EV Normal with 16 man? Or is 16 man only available in NiM? Also can you run below optimal party size? So enter with only 14 players? Instead of a full 16? Cheers for your help, Aelith
