  1. typical forums, whine about random chance to get it, people declare "I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH IT COSTS WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO BUY IT STRAIGHT UP" they put it in "MAN *** TOO EXPENSIVE WAAAAAAH"
  2. this is the wrong type of game to implement those features into tho, the only thing that is a decent request is sitting in chairs, making entire cities wouldn't work, player housing would most likely have to be done in an instanced off way (hero engine garbage) and storyteller vendors, they were strange in swg, the fact that they worked was because the game was 100% community content driven besides their ****** instances. The game was designed to allow you to have that kind of freedom, this game is designed around you experiencing their story, far too structured for the likes of housing, storyteller vendors, and player cities. The closest thing we will ever get to housing, is customizing ships more, and imho, for this game, (and this ****** engine) that's as close as it should come
  3. swg emu is that way, way to list 4 things that are literally, directly ripped from swg, please come up with original idea's this is a themepark mmo, not a sandbox mmo. Go be king of the trackstars and stay off the forums
  4. People like you are the reason devs never communicate fully what they are trying to do, because if they happen to not be able to do what they said they were trying to do, you jump on them, even when the reasoning for not doing it, is 100% sound. You're probably also the type of person who whines about not having enough info about the plans for the game to the hype point, there are limitations to what engines can do, they have already improved optimization by a lot. (to the point where they have said that the engine can hardly be called the hero engine, which is a god awful engine) Matching the hype is a complete and total joke, hype and expectations almost ALWAYS surpass reality (granted i do agree they could have done the dye system better) Also how exactly does tor have "exploitative and invasive monetization?"
  5. i'm aware you have me ignored because apparently having a differing opinion (and using logic) makes you a forum troll, however. I base the they'd probably give it to us based off of. Classic looks armor sets, if you had the set, you were awarded classic set. Anyway, this "forum troll" is done lol
  6. I'm not defending the system, i'm arguing against your terrible examples. Also if they did add in boots/bracers (which lets face it they probably wouldn't) they probably wouldn't be part of the collection, or they'd award them to you if you had the whole set
  7. Nihlus mask - where's the rest of the nihilus armor? that's what i thought Eradicator Mask - separate purchase from the rest of the eradicator armor from the cartel market, not in cartel packs, different from other sets. Makes sense for it to be separate Revan's mask - Part of an entire set that you get from the packs (or if u have 10 cartel certs and high enough rep) Makes sense for it to be part off a set, would be nice if it was not tho (but it's not like the rest of the set is really really common tho right??)
  8. please note the bold and underlined in the example you yourself gave, it says, "NOT REQUIRED" and "DOES NOT HAVE TO" meaning they still can if they want
  9. NO ONE said that they were not higher. Some people (I'm in this group) said that they don't see what the problem with the increase in cost is, it's not that big of a deal and that people canceling subs over such a non issue are dumb Some people (again myself included in this group) said that people saying that they were paying 15k+ a death were full of ****, because well, they were
  10. technically he said he's never wiped in a hm fp, or he doesn't anymore. Which if he runs with a solid group, is 100% possible. HM FP's (outside of lost island and kaon bonus boss but who the hell does kaon bonus boss since they took away it dropping columi headgear even tho it's harder then the actual final boss QQ) are such a joke, most of them were designed to be run in non tionese gear, (obvious exceptions kaon and lost island) but now they hand you tionese gear significantly decreasing the difficulty. (BTW I despise that they hand you tionese gear) And not all people complain, I never vocally back pre 1.2 said "dayum these costs are soooo high" i internally thought wow that's a bit pricey, but, whatever. I dealt with it (coincidentally part of the reason it was especially pricey was 1) tank 2) one of our healers only played for raids so i ended up paying for his repair costs as well so i was paying double 3) NM SOA SO FKING GLITCH OHMAGAWD)
  11. which is stupid, if someone puts in the effort, why not reward them? I wasn't even aware of the cap until i leveled my most recent toon because when i leveld my very first one way back at launch, there was no cap and that was when i pvp'd a lot. I understand not wanting people to get auto geared at 50, but, they could do something instead of cap, they could cut valor xp in half once it exceeds your level. There are much better solutions then a straight cap
  12. the only problem i had with it (i was in on the run, we're in the same guild) is, the near week response time, i would think an item glitch / quest reward bug would have had a faster response time. - DON'T GET ME WRONG - I completely understand that they are busy, but stuff like that seems like it should take higher priority
  13. i covered that with and as i said way earlier in the thread, when 1.2 hit and the repairs were lowered so much, the first thing out of my mouth at my first repair was "wow that's fking stupid" I had thought they were a little high pre 1.2 (there weren't as many dailies back then which made the repair costs even worse, if repair costs would have been as much as they were pre 1.2 with all the dalies they have now, i wouldn't have had an issue with it), i though they were WAY too low post 1.2, they should have found a happy medium, which, they never did.
