The ugly truth of the MMO community is that there will be those individuals who will have a "near vertical" learning curve. They are so wrapped up in their own little universes (of which they are the center of) that they could not care less about other people. It is just something that you are going to have to deal with. Best to leave them to their little solipsistic fantasies.

I think you are confusing "do not know", with "willfully choosing to ignore the fact". They know, they just cannot be bothered to care; their selfish little perspective of the world will not let them.

If I were to hazard a guess, I would say that making the Legacy Name Server based was pure pragmatism. Somewhere along the coding process, BW decided that it would be more practical/easier on their end to attach the Legacy name to the Server over a player's account; perhaps their thinking was along the lines of, if Server transfers are allowed, they do not want to deal with the possible headache of figuring out what to do with the possibility of two players, on the same Server, with the same Legacy Name.

People are jerks on the internet, because they can. Since they will never have to deal with you, or anybody on these forums for that matter, beyond these impersonal, anonymous, forums, they can behave how ever they want, with zero repercussions or consequences.

Suggesting that Star Wars be retconned is just going to ignite a powder keg of nerd rage. And from my experience with films that get this treatment, it rarely comes out for the better, Best to leave it alone.

I see I am not the only one who does not get all the affection points from conversations with Ashara. For me, it is spotty; sometimes I get the AP, sometime I get half, and sometimes I get nothing. Something is going on with Ashara's coding to be getting this kind of erratic response. I have made a couple of tickets describing what happened, but I get the reply that there is nothing to be done at the moment.

Always in motion, the future is. So, who can say.
