  1. Not true, that was supposed to be a new feature of 1.2, being able to transfer all mods/enhance/etc from PVE and PVP gear to make it look however you want. Going to look for it in the patch notes, will post it when I find it.

  4. I haven't had a very easy time with names. When I started getting a bunch of alts on WoW, the names were sometimes disastrous. I wanted to make a Frostfire Bolt mage, so the name I initially came up with was Hotncold. It wasn't until after I hit max level that I discovered that there was a Katy Perry song of the same name. How did I discover this tidbit of news? From a troll in general chat. Ever since then, I've been a little paranoid in creating character names. I brought over the name for my holy paladin on WoW, Psyran. I wanted a female character in WoW and this was the first time I had to come up with a feminine name (that wasn't taken). It's basically a phonetic alteration of Siren. This is the name for my Sorcerer. Since my usual internet nickname became my legacy name (Greyedge), that name was eliminated as a possible choice. I didn't want to look like one of those tools running around with the same first name and last name, like Mario Mario. I had an awesome epiphany for the name of my bounty hunter. I'm not even totally sure where the hell it came from, but it's probably one of my favorite and recognized names... Superfett. I had a terrible time finding a name for my assassin and I delayed creating the character because I couldn't come up with a name. Since I already had an Inquisitor, a sorcerer, I decided to make it an exact twin of my other one. The appearance and name are extremely similar. The cosmetics are the only difference between the characters, in regards to looks. The name has only has a different vowel. I'm hoping it will really screw with people, especially when it hits 50 and I can sync the clothing and titles. Her name is Psyren.
  5. Hey guys! I figured that this would be a good place to post this. A fellow guild member and I have created a SWTOR podcast called 'Republic's Most Wanted'. This fairly new podcast is part of the Rawrcast network. Rawrcast is a long-running World of Warcraft fan podcast that has recently started to branch out into multiple podcasts. Here's the parent website for the Rawrcast network: http://www.rawrcast.com The guild that is represented on the podcast is Bound, located on the Canderous Ordo server. http://www.boundguild.com The podcast is released every Friday and can be downloaded from iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/republics-most-wanted-podcast/id504167523 You can also listen to Republic's Most Wanted and the rest of the Rawrcast network podcast through Stitcher radio: http://www.stitcher.com/ If you want the direct RSS feed for the podcast, it is located here: http://feeds.feedburner.com/republicsmostwanted
  6. Here are the things that I've observed about the Ilum changes: 1) Faction imbalance a significant factor. 2) Excessive lag during large confrontations. 3) Healers don't get valor for kills. 4) World announcement for player location is pointless, considering the size of the map and the fact that it doesn't account for every person who passes the same point. This is understandable, considering it would spam everyone's screen. But, it's misleading because you might see one or two people being announced, but an entire ops group just passed through that area. 5) The valor rewards are too high. It gives players an incentive to stay and gank beyond the requirements for daily/weekly quests. 6) The quest rewards are too good. Everyone is trying to get PVP gear because it's viable for hard modes, as well. This exacerbates the faction imbalances. Please add any other observations that I might have missed. Please be constructive. Flaming and whining doesn't fix anything. If you care about the game, then help the developers instead of insulting them. If you don't care about the game, then go play something else and stop wasting your life trolling these forums.
  7. Imperials dominating, but not base camping.
