  1. I won't lie, I was very disappointed to see that Onderon, the planet that had been hyped up for so long, was ultimately just another pit stop planet that you spend an hour at most on, if you're playing casually. I was really hoping to see something that'd tell me that Bioware's getting more funding, or that there is a bigger backing considering the hype for Star Wars in general rising due to the movies. Had the story been longer, I would've said 'Yes, this is a new expac'. Instead, it just feels like a large content patch that reworked some stuff. I hope that more content comes out sooner rather than later. Also, this isn't story related but hot damn do I dislike the Force Charge changes for warriors. > Also Part TWO! **** YES I love Scourge and Kira!!! Their armor sets are amazing and I am so jealous that I can't get it. Their story is cool, and when I play with Scourge as my companion, I really feel as though I have a powerful Sith at my side, like when you take Malgus or Marr with you through those missions and immediately lose them.
  2. Personally, I haven't been asking for 'small' Strongholds. I prefer them big and vast, as there is more to decorate and more to explore. I want Strongholds for my guild, not for myself. Had I known Manaan would've been so small, I wouldn't have bought it. It'll make for an interesting place for one of my characters, though not for my main nor my guild.
  3. Just a friendly reminder; this is the only stronghold we've gotten in almost two years. Two years it took to make this.
  4. My thoughts on Manaan; -Wow-. This has got to be the most underwhelming stronghold on the list. Sure, it is pretty and I do enjoy the underwater chambers you can purchase, but with only 4/4 rooms, you come to the realization that the hooks are very.. 'eh', and the place is very small. I, in hype mode, replaced my guild's SH for this, as we all have been very eager for this stronghold. However, now that we've bought all FOUR rooms, yes only FOUR, we have realized the place is simply too small to house a guild, as we can only have 30 people in the SH at any given time, and the hook designs are simply disgusting. I now realize -why- there were no teaser trailers or images, compared to the Yavin SH where we got teaser images of specific areas. There's nothing to tease; you literally get what you see when you load in..
  5. There are just too many comments on this thread for me to read, so if something's already been debunked, I apologize. For those demanding a new class; it's been said repeatedly that making a new class would be -extremely- difficult due to the fact that each class in the game has their own unique instances, stories, and ships(Of course, excluding Jedi/Sith ships, since both class archtypes get identical ships). It would take a lot of resources and time to go back through the game to add new instances to carve into the already detailed map, and then to create all those other features. Some may say that other games have created classes after launch, like WoW... Well, WoW's story is very open and vague, allowing classes to be introduced without issue. Now, a possible work around is to introduce a hero class, like WoW, and have the class start at say... 50, and leave it so they can only go through KotFE and KotET, and then onto the next expansions. ------------- To those who are asking for open world, environmental changes... Like weather and day/night shifts-- do remember that(unless I'm mistaken), SWG and SWTOR run on two completely different engines, so it could be a very hard thing, if not impossible thing, to implement. Of course, there's also the issue of syncing players to that cycle. Then again, that's not a big issue. The big issue is having vast environmental changes for each planet. For instance, I presume it'd be pretty damn hard to code in Korriban being night time, whilst Tython being mid-day. It'd create a LOT of lag for people. ------------- My own 'Wall of Crazy' desire that could potentially be put into the game without a great deal of hassle would be to restore Flashpoint unique decorations and armor. I cannot tell you the countless times I ran Esseles, Black Talon, and Boarding Party on my alts to get decent looking sets of armor. I'd also like to see some more cosmetic and fluff features for our RP community, like toggle tiers of Dark Side corruption. However, one of my outlandish desires for the game is to have XYZ decoration for Strongholds, and a mini-expansion solely for strongholds. It'd be so cool to have a patch be dedicated to releasing dozens of various sized strongholds, ranging from planetary homes to space homes.(Don't say it's not possible... ESO managed to release XYZ decorating with 36 different homesteads of various sizes when they launched their Homestead's patch, which released player housing.)
  6. Hello! Is it just me, or has anyone else been bugged about the fact that acquiring Cartel Certificates is almost completely impossible now? When the Cartel Market first launched, they were a LOT more common, and they were far more useful. The packs that were released carried reputation vendors that held items worth spending your cartel certificates on, but now having that reputation buff is pointless. Bioware should consider buffing the drop rate of Cartel Certificates solely because of the fact that they used to be useful and the items were cool to get. For instance, say your server's economy is **** and black primary dyes are through the roof on prices. You could just go to the Binary Star Realty vendor and buy one for a couple of cartel certificates and some credits.
  7. I feel the need to throw in my input/opinion. To those who have said that you witnessed Malgus die, by either stabbing, shooting, or shocking him up, that is in fact the -non- canonized ending of the flashpoint. A looooong time ago, back in vanilla and Rise of the Hutt Cartel, you could not simply kill him by getting his HP to zero. You had to actually have someone in the group that had a knockback ability, be it Force Push or one of the other abilities(I solely main a Juggernaut, I forget the names of the other abilities... Force Charge for inquisitors right? XD). That being said, in lore, he was in fact pushed off the strip of ground you fought him on. Just because they make a mechanic different does not mean that was the canonized death of the character. I believe it was more so to make the game/flashpoint even easier than it already was. Should Malgus stay dead? I'd agree on some level. It seems a very common theme in SWTOR expansions is the 'return' theme. A character dies and is suddenly brought back as an antagonist or a guiding figure to help your character. I'd like to see new Sith, new people that could replace the hole in my heart for those that died. Would I -love- for Malgus to return? Hell yeah. I'd love for Marr to come back in an actual embodiment(Thus why I have him as my main companion by re-doing the first chapter). I don't think it's appropriate to bring back everything that dies by the hand of your character, even if a lot of players want it. I want my actions to mean something, and by bringing back someone I thought was dead, defeats the purpose of my choice, when they oh so promoted the whole 'Your choices matter' aspect of the game. Sources: Here is a video of the old mechanics. In the party chat, members of the group discuss the boss fight, and one player even asks if both Juggernauts and Marauders have Force Push, so they can beat the boss. At exactly into the video, you will see that they had to push Malgus in, as to complete the flashpoint.
  8. Heya! Have we gotten any word on a new Stronghold? I foresee Manaan to be the next one, solely because of all the decorations regarding aquatic stuff, like the submarine and Deep Sea biosamples. I don't really keep up to date on every news release, so I may have missed some form of teaser.
  9. Better yet, make it our very own throne room. Let us customize it how we would a stronghold. My main went down the Dark Route, trying to stick as close to the Sith ways as possible. He'd fully merge the Alliance int the EMpire if he could, so it'd be nice to be able to put more imperial things in there.
  10. I made a post saying how that there is a set similar to what you want, Skotia's armor, but I realized you mentioned Skotia's Armor, so I edited my post, since I was not relevant in the discussion... I don't know how you took it as an insult to your intelligence. >.>
  11. Disregard this post. I re-read your thread and realized you mentioned the Skotia armor. I'm a smart individual.
  12. Can you really count the Orbalisk set though? It's very poorly constructed and isn't textured properly, in my opinion. It looks like the half-assed version. Malgus' was also poorly made. In my opinion, they only pt a lot of effort on armor that'll be rare to get, like the Sith Recluse, Revan Reborn, and so on.
  13. Another CE player here.. Upset more so about 5.0's new systems rather than the vendor, but I think the CE players deserve some form of new items. For instance, new armor that aren't reskins. >.>
  14. With Warzone commendations being thrown out, will we still be able to purchase PvP mods for our armor, from the mods vendor? Speaking of, will the armor be modifiable?
