  1. OIC! That makes sense... On the adaptive gear issue... Is that really an official statement by BW? I'm going on ingame chatter that it's bugged and thus not adapting.
  2. Same story here pretty much... Did the quest line over the week end on my 50. He came fully kitted in level 50 orange gear. Nothing missing. Bought him for 350 Cartel coins for my new level 1 alt. Again, he came with a full set of orange gear, but level 50 orange gear. I got spammed with error messages regards the level 50 gear. Saw that it was being adressed, so I just dumped the level 50 gear in my alt's bank. I bought him some level appropriate gear on the GTN. Saw in the patch notes that the adaptive gear issue has been fixed! My main got a mail, with the exact same level 50 gear that he came with anyways. My alt didn't get a mail at all. I tried equipping the level50 in my alt's bank, hoping that it would adapt down to level 12. No luck. I don't really understand the patch? For me it did nothing at all. Gave me an extra set of non-adaptive gear on my main that's level 50 anyways. Didn't give me any gear for my HK51 that's only level 12?
  3. Thanks, and yes, I was talking about adrenals soz. And though anural's spreadsheet seems to be suggesting Alacrity, I've played around with the numbers a bit, and I cannot get a substantial gain with realistic/attainable increases in Alacrity. For instace, pushing alacrity to 400 from 312, and pretending that all my other stats will remain the same during this regearing, only yield a deliverance cast time reduction from 2.26 to 2.21. Something I don't really feel is worth it. With a 475 adrenal I get it down to 2.03s, but as you said, that's a long cooldown to splash on something that yields this little benefit. I will definitely try your suggestion on popping the power adrenal. It might just be the push I'm needing. What about a relic? Power as well?
  4. Thanks so much for the guide! Seer Healer help online is kinda in short supply, and I need all the help I can get! I need to ask for some advice regards stacking/gearing/l2p/everything. We've done all the HMs upto EC, and we do clear EC storymode sometimes, but Kephess is a bastard. I'm really battling to keep the tank up, to the point that I simply noble sacrifice throughout the beginning phases of the fight to keep myself at 100% mana till the big robot dies. In the last phase I typically spam the tank with Deliverance, even if he's at 100% hp, because he'll be almost dead by the time it lands. And it's so untypical of my normal rotation. I pretty much shield the tank, pop a salvation where the action is and wait for hp bars to start moving. If I know a fight is mana intensive, I'll typically be close enough to my salvation, as to get benefit from it. My rule of thumb is: If I'm at 100% health, I pop noble twice. That pretty much gets me close to 100% mana if I'm standing in my salvation, I'll float between 83% and 100% health. Typically I only cast deliverance if I have popped Force Potency. Which means I only cast Deliverance twice, maybe 3 times if it refuse to crit on a cast on rare occasions. I typically only cast healing trance after rejuvinate, and the 2 might be used on different targets. When a raid members is very low on health I use a couple of different rotations, depending on the situation. If it's a tank, and he/she cannot get shielded I typically use a rejuvinate for the 1k instant heal, and try to keep him up with a crit stim and healing trance. If he's not quite that critically low on hp, but cannot be shielded, I typically use Force potency and 2x deliverance. If the tank is not critical, I typically just shield, drop a aoe heal, stand in it, noble twice, pop a rejuvinate on him. If required I'll finish off with a healing trance. Ops members that are just taking the odd bit of splash damage either get a split rejuv and healing trance, or just rejuvs, maybe the odd shield if there's random targetting involved. Here are my current stats: Unbuffed / Buffed WP: 1839 / 2050 P: 465 / 511 FP: 1261 / 1261 Crit: 377 / 377 Surge: 216 / 216 Alac: 312 / 312 Arulan's spreadsheet seems to suggest I might be low on alacrity, and I'm thinking it might have a point. Also my relics. I have a matrix cube and a mending. I tend to forget to activate activatable relics, but maybe I should just learn to use that as I do my crit stim. Should I get the rakata alacrity stim? I have the power stim, but havn't found a use for it, as I always use the crit stim when things go pear shaped. I really would appreciate any input as I feel I'm letting group down when we die repeatedly on Kephess. It almost feels like a fluke when we do actually down him. I don't like it when I encounter damage on our group that I simply cannot cope with.
  5. My questions revolve around Server Transfers. Both Free and Paid. In other MMOs we have seen such free transfers be unsuccessful to solve low server problems because appropriate target servers are unavailable for free transfer, but are available for paid transfer. Looking at EU, PvE, English server populations for instance. The highest pop server of this type is The Red Eclipse. This server has not had a "Heavy" load (as given by the official page http://www.swtor.com/server-status ) since the launch of "that other RPG" on May 15. Not even on Sunday peak times, does it achieve a "Heavy" classification. http://www.torstatus.net/the-red-eclipse/trends/30d This is based on data gathered from the official page, by the author of the torstatus page. My questions are: Can we expect to be able to free transfer to this server? (All things being equal, and the situation remaining unchanged till transfers actually becoming available) (or Dune Bantha http://www.torstatus.net/dune-bantha/trends/30d ) ? Or will logical target servers be reserved for paid transfers? We can ofcourse appreciate that (looking at US pops) that transfers to The Fat Man, for instance, would be out of the question for free transfers http://www.torstatus.net/the-fatman/trends/7d since this server has a "Full" rating during peak times. What are the criteria for Free Transfer target servers? Again, referencing Free Transfer capabilities in other MMOs, the target servers available to free transfer to, were useless targets. Either the same, or lower populations than the originating server. With only paid transfers yielding target servers that made any sense. In these instances Free Transfers failed to yield any kind of positive result for the communities, with the appearance that a company would use only paid services to yield positive results. Can we expect the same from this round of tranfsers in SWTOR, or can we reasonably expect an approach that puts the community's needs above all else? Will Guild Transfers be available? That an entire guild can transfer in one move?
  6. Level 38 is bit high... How about 1 million credits? Oh wait... Level 38 is not high... Reroll...
  7. Sorry, I ninja edited.. Repost of edit: Have you seen at random, the convesations that pop-off a simple LFG? Some member will chime in with some advice about the last boss. Or just what a pain it was etc etc... It doesn't happen with every single LFG post.. But it does happen. It's that general community that develops in "General", that's a spin off of LFG. That disappears completely.
  8. We have all sat for hours, even in Wow. Wow gave the dungeon finder, and we saw what it did to the community... Have you seen at random, the convesations that pop-off a simple LFG? Some member will chime in with some advice about the last boss. Or just what a pain it was etc etc... It doesn't happen with every single LFG post.. But it does happen.
  9. I speculate that they are receiving a lot of bug reports that medium and high give the same graphics quality, without the UI even reloading. And you can't have just Low and Medium as settings, as that will get bug reported. You can't have just Medium and High as settings, as that will get bug reported. Yes, you and I may be happy with just official word, with no ETA. But this forum? I think we both know, they'll demand an ETA 4 hours after the official word.
  10. It was the first sentance in my post. I just spelled it correctly
  11. Have I posted about Nagle, and how to disable it, in this thread? Oh yes, I have...
  12. No problem. Thanks for trying the game. Feel free to check back in a couple of months if you want to. And if you don't, doesn't matter...
  13. It keeps inflation down. It's required to keep the economy in check. Stop spending money on your crafting skills. Get only gathering skills like for instance: Scavanging (Use only inworld, don't mission) Slicing (Send only for lockboxes) Bioanalysis (Use only inworld, don't mission) At level 50 you'll have a nice stack of mats, that didn't cost you 1 credit. And you can max a profession instantly. By level 30 you'll have about 400k. And about 500k by level 35. That's after you bought your level 25 riding skill and mount.
  14. I'd love to buy some kit with my credit card, since I don't have the ingame credits... WHERE CAN I FIND THIS SHOP ?!?!?!?!? Then I can kick yo backside in pvp with leet gear I bought with cash!!! (Or borrowed cash in my case) Edit: Oh wait... You mean you were trolling???? Meh...
