  1. You can no longer move that windows by using the title bar it seems, click inside the windows where there are no letters hold like you would for the title bar and move the window that way, it works for me. Hope that helps.
  2. Not game breaking but definitely very annoying and really useless.
  3. I posted about this in the EA Answers HQ forums a few days ago since as preferred i didn't have access to these forums: http://answers.ea.com/t5/STAR-WARS-The-Old-Republic/Green-barrels-hilts-from-comm-vendors-still-require-artifact/m-p/4907128#U4907128 It's been this way since 4.0, there are other posts there about this issue but they seem to be getting ignored or considered low priority since it only affects preferred and f2p and not subs.
  4. 24h delay, no big deal, Togruta still coming, i'm happy
  5. This, while it is disappointing for sure, i was looking forward to creating a Togruta, i understand that sh#t happens and better delay it a bit than breaking (more) of the game. That said, as long as it is a BRIEF delay and Togruta is still included as it is the only part of the patch of any interest (to me).
  6. seems theres a bug somewhere and they are "investigating". http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=555293&page=3
  7. benefit for subscribing sure and they have to make money somewhere perfectly normal they are a business after all, but "hide head slot" "unify colors" seriously (and that's just 2 examples) , that's just milking it to the extreme. you want to make money, np just do what other ftp games do so well, add great cosmetic items, mounts, great weapon skins, pets etc... you make cool things available and people will want and will buy them, not this nikel and dime BS.
  8. I've played this game for 7 months and i was looking forward to be back for a bit but seriously this ftp is ridiculous lol you have to pay for "Hide head slot" for "Unify colors", skill bars, crew skills etc... etc... etc... for pretty much everything, for example just unlocking the hide head slot and unify colors options for all account will cost you 2 x 775 cc that's around 17$ to unlock 2 things that have no reason to be locked in the first place. they are really milking this ftp stuff, even the free cartel coins that you were supposed to get as rewards for being a previous subscriber now you have to buy another subscription to get those. I don't mind paying for cosmetic stuff, boosts whatever but this milking stuff, this nikel and dime crap, thanks but no thanks. Not really a surprise tough, that's EA for you.
  9. It really depends on the F2P model, yes some are very restrictive but some are also very permissive, so to take 1 example and say F2P is bad based on that one example is really short sighted . There are many models of F2P, as many as there are F2P MMOs actually since each one pretty much follows their own, so it would all depend on what EA/Bioware would choose for theirs. It could be very good but it could also be very bad but to say ALL F2P is bad is simply a lie.
  10. I don't agree with all those that go all doom and gloom when someone talks about f2p but to each his own i guess. I played many f2p MMOs and still do and see no problem with them, i spend money if i want on what i want but i don't have to and besides it gives me more choices, i play DCUO, Aion, still play Lotro sometimes and even STrek online on occasion, so if they were p2p i wouldn't be able to play them at all because i'm not rich and 1 subscription is all i can afford at one time. So f2p for me represents more choice and only spending my money IF and WHEN i want to.
  11. Good story lines (most of them), excellent voice acting, good PVE with no grinding and very fun and easy leveling process, interesting companions, very easy to solo pretty much anything (could be seen as a good or bad thing), good crafting system, fun combat, nice character and combat animations (most of them), nice graphics and its Starwars.
  12. Like others said, an extended free trial, nothing wrong with it, on the contrary it could help bring many new players. So, all good.
  13. I have to say that for a so much hyped feature Group finder in it's current state is very basic: For example, i'm lvl 15 in Dromund Kaas, i can't queue for specific heroics, i can only queue for the whole planet. when you get on a planet maybe you don't want to do the harder heroics first, maybe you want to get some gear, like this there is no choice for what heroics you queue, seems very restrictive without reason. same for instances, as a lvl 15 i can only queue for Hammer Station, i understand not being able to queue for higher lvl instances sure, but why can't i queue for BT, 10 to 12 for BT queue seems ridiculously restrictive, many people run BT at 13, 14, 15 or higher, i know you can solo it easily at 15 or even lower but want a group for social points and besides at lvl 15 the other lower lvls in the group still get full xp (i think). So this Group Finder tool seems to me to be an incomplete, very basic, very restrictive and half a**ed but much hyped feature.
