  1. More realistically, an "observation chair" your character can sit in and look out at the cosmos on every ship. Maybe in a future patch make your ship slowly orbit the planet instead of just face it?
  2. Need=use, greed=sell. If it's for a companion or only slightly better than yours, ask about it. Enough said.
  3. So because it's simple, it's too simple? I do feel the other stats should have SOME importance (or a penalty for being deficient beyond a certain point in them) but there's no reason to turn Cunning into "Skill" "Dexterity" "Quickness" and "Reflex" just for the sake of complicating things beyond the point where someone can figure it out for themself what they need to do next. Not sure what the problem here is. I think it's the same as the last one, you want a huge difference between the players who have achieved and researched and the players who haven't. I see the progression of gear visually in this game, as your equipped items look more and more different than everyone around you without having to rely on a transmorgification system to copy/paste another piece of gear onto it. You literally get to keep the same item (soldiers in real life don't get a new gun every mission they udnertake, do they?) Crafting is a lot better than the stuff you can earn at your level actually, you just have to actually spend the money on it. Which sort of screws you out of things like your speeder the second you can and makes you have to save to get new skills upon level up instead of instantly training them when you flash that you leveled up, but I see that as added difficulty really. 1) PvP being competitive only matters on economy for twinks, and nobody likes a twink. 2) Green items only purpose are to be broken into components and used to learn recipes, but let's face it: in WoW the only purpose of putting greens up is for twinks and enchanters to break into components anyway. So really the only importance is orange items, materials, items you can't craft yourself, and finally "for fun" items. I think the main problem is the clunky auction interface personally, but whatever. Wait...in almost every MMO, the largest chunk of your money (unless you're taking advantage of an exploit for twink gear somewhere) comes from quest rewards. The titles in this game aren't as much a trophy on the wall as much as they are a way for someone mousing over your character to get a bit of lore about who you are playing. For example, the player the smuggler named "Captain _____" VS the smuggler named "________ the Outlaw". Although this isn't a direct stat or gameplay effect really, neither is titles in ANY MMO. They're all there only as trophies like I said earlier, but this game took the approach of letting you use them to describe yourself instead. As for vanity rewards...you're saying you should have to raid and raid and raid and raid to earn a chance to roll for a drop of a mouse droid? When in the game lore you'd be able to buy one for a few measly hundred credits? But you enjoyed that month right? You didn't have to spend $100,000,000 and wait 4 years on it did you?
  4. Lucas told them no player races that cannot speak English. So most of the unique Star Wars races are completely out of the question. On that note, anyone have a description of what exactly the race emotes do? I can't seem to find one, the wikis are useless.
  5. Sorry, meant Collector's edition. Still, what with the standard edition getting the same content for a mere $20 upgrade, it seems like we were just rooked out of the difference for a highly overpriced statue and CD basically.
  6. Players who buy the standard game can upgrade to the preorder game for a mere $20? They get all the "exclusive content" and all, with the fancy items and speeder and hologram and all? So what was the point of shelling out the extra $100 cash for the pre-order? A mini statue and a printout of concept art? A CD that we don't even have yet, but all the songs on it are already available? Or an extra 2 days of gameplay or so?
  7. A "dark" jedi is a jedi fighting for the Republic, but willing to fight dirty. This would be the pre-order 66 Anakin. A "light" sith still uses the dark side, but has at least a code of honor. Gameplay wise, not much difference. Some companions will like you more or less and you can equip different armors for visual differences. The main effect is the story will change.
