  1. For me, just following an Assassin while they double-sap things so we can walk by is tedious. Taking a super roundabout path to avoid a trash pack when it honestly would have probably taken the same amount of time to just fight, is tedious. I prefer to actually press buttons, engage in combat, and play the game. If I wanted to take my toon for a run I'd stay on the fleet and do laps around the outer ring lol. I think the issue is that BioWare has incentivized the mere completion of the flashpoints, not the actual playing of them. If actually fighting things and doing bonus objectives and bosses were more rewarding I imagine more people would want to do them, even for the 100+ time.
  2. I wish Flashpoints weren't CC/Skip fests. I guess maybe they won't be earlier on in 7.0 since the bonus bosses will give additional chances at loot (I think?) but I wager that won't last long. My opinion, roast me if you disagree.. cut the rewards for completing Flashpoints in half and add a 2.5x multiplier if you defeated the bonus boss. The 2.5x will bring it back up to the original level plus add a little extra for actually doing the bonus boss. Or leave the rewards as is, but make a few mobs within some of the packs immune to CC that breaks from damage and add additional packs at some of popular skip points. Not saying that there shouldn't be skippable stuff, but not like 75% of a Flashpoint, and there should be real incentive to not.
  3. Yeah I guess it's really prevalent in the open world as well.. I'm not opposed to CC as an enemy NPC mechanic if It's avoidable/interruptible. Like you have to make the choice of getting stunned for a couple seconds or taking a larger-than-normal hit because you can't interrupt both. It's pretty brutal when areas are littered with mobs that, on queue, hit you with an instant-cast flashbang 3 seconds after engaging them haha.
  4. you've always had to wait for your credits. you get the item instantly if you buy something. if you sell something, you have to wait an hour. has always been like this.
  5. Quick background.. played from launch until Shadow of Revan, almost totally as a healer but I dabbled in tanking from time to time. Played off and on as a DPS to do the expansion stories since then. Resubbed for 7.0 and decided I wanted to take a stab at tanking more so I've geared up and have been doing MM Flashpoints. I've found the experience to be pretty frustrating for one, and also quite boring.. It feels like every pull I jump in (playing Powertech) and I get flashbanged, then I get knocked back and slowed, then I'm getting choked or something. So by the time all that's over I have threat on nothing and I've also sat there with my hands off the mouse/keyboard for like 8-10 seconds. I know there are CC breaks and abilities that can prevent this, and also AoE taunts, but they have cooldowns and the flashpoints are fast paced. In my time away after Shadow of Revan I played a lot of World of Warcraft, where I mostly tanked. Am I just used to that game where the tank holds threat on everything and only gets CC'd if they make a mistake?
  6. Off the top of my head: Deception Assassin. -increased damage/reduced cost maul proc -reduced cost ball lightning proc -discharge stack proc -increased damage reduction proc There may be more. That's all I can of right now though. Your buff bar fills up pretty quick when you start hitting buttons that's for sure.
  7. For the amount of hype they're trying to generate, if it's just the announcement and/or teaser for chapter 10 I'll literally lol in disappointment. But that's just me of course
  8. Tick.......... Tock............... Tick......................... Tock.................................
  9. Someone needs to find an exploit so everyone can abuse the **** out of it over the holidays with no repercussions like last year. Sorta make it a holiday tradition. Holiday exploit extravaganza.
  10. So hilariously true it hurts. Also made me actually laugh out loud. Thank you.
  11. It's a fine line that the Devs have never been able to walk upon.. Make everything too easy, people get bored quickly and leave. Make it too difficult, people get frustrated and leave. The Devs in this game have been known to wildly compensate.
  12. What's sad is they ignore the subject. And I could warrant that if just a few people were complaining and they had crappy computers. But people with some serious rigs are having issues. So Bioware can't just say "it's your computer, buy a better one", it's actually their game itself. P.S. one of the strangest FPS drops I've experience is on the Imperial Agent ship. If you run straight in to the console that grants you the SoR and KotFE missions on your ship your FPS drops to like 5 lol. Don't believe me? Try it
  13. Think it's funny they made "1" the most favorite and "5" the least favorite. Wonder how many people read that wrong and made their votes backward At least in my experience, "on a scale of 1 to 5" means 1 is the least and 5 is the most lol.
