  1. I am thoroughly impressed with the Expansion. The views on Makab are amazing, the raid is excellent, and the amount of content is kind of overwhelming, and the boss mechanics are great. However, the best of the bunch has to be the macrobinoculars quests; the puzzles are creative, the first Heroic 4 might be the best and most unique quest I ever ran in an MMO (my group was blown away; giggling and laughing through the whole thing it felt truely epic), and the final room in the last quest is stunningly beautiful and a high water mark in the history of level design. So congratulations and keep up the good work. I cannot wait to see what comes next as it seems you have really hit your stride and are coming up with new ways to challenge us and make the game engine sing.
  2. For the love of Malgus, please increase this limit to something reasonable like 50. With all the new quests, it's become a constant PITA to manage my quest log.
  3. This exploit is getting ridiculous. Fix it or disable the key in Warzones.
  4. It's also affecting game play as people abandon the node to go hunting comms.
  5. Oh, I taunt my little heart out...and I'm comfortable that my rotation is down. (Been doing this since launch.) It's still very tight. Even with our threat boost, it feels like the ability of DPS with current gear to produce gaudy DPS is out racing our ability to generate TPS. It's not by a lot but it's enough to feel it.
  6. That's assuming everyone stands still in the target through the long cast time and execution. In reality, OS is more useful as a diversion or to stop caps/defusals.
  7. Yeah, I figured but I just thought I would add another log to the fire. One of the worst fights is the first boss in HM TfB if I'm not dead on perfect in my initial open or a DPS doesn't threat dump at the right time it so easy to lose agro and get early adds. The margin is so razor thing now. Even with the Agro boosts, buffed and stimed BiS gear DPS are generating DPS numbers that eclipse Tank threat gen and with fights like this where you have a DPS race and need all of it.... a 5-10% boost to overall DPS would likely even out the curve just enough so it's not so crazy.
  8. This is one of the big issues with PuG HM's. The hero style of DPS everything is perfectly fine when you are with guildies or friends who you know are comfortable and geared to handle it. When you run and gun in a group where you have no idea if the other 3 are capable of going at that speed you invite a wipe.
  9. With top geared DPS pulling 2000+, Jugg tanks could use a small upgrade to DPS to bring our threat output close to being in line with the current max DPS from BiS geared characters. It wouldn't need to be a large increase it just feels that it's getting more and more difficult to maintain over the last few updates and we are often walking a razors edge in some of these encounters.
  10. I assume they are unless they want to take a rash of **** and 1.6 dropped 12/11 so we would be looking at last week of January. So I would expect something on PTS in a week or so.
  11. Also a valid POV, my GF is a healer and I'm sure she would agree with you HM Dread Guard and NIM Jarg and Sorno are brutal on the healers. The one thing I can say in favor of tanks having it worse is that for the most part the healers can stand still and focus on the blue bars. Outside of those moments of absolute defecation in the ventilation they can mostly coast on cruise control.
  12. The Western Ice Shelf is the Illum PvP area. So, I would guess in a few weeks we will start seeing more about 1.7 and know for sure.
  13. My main is a Jugg Tank and I have been tanking since release. Tanking in this game especially once you start progression can be mentally tasking. For my money, tanking is the most challenging thing you can do. The reality is though that you will screw up occasionally but so will everyone else. Some fights are so tight that the smallest slip can turn things bad. The two most important things are knowledge and control. Knowledge of the encounter, the mechanics, knowledge of your class, and how threat works will give you an edge. Know your gear and what gear is required for the FP/OP. Don't walk into an LI in Tio gear. Control of the party, use that knowledge and lead the group. As with anything, the more you do it the more comfortable you become and the better you get. If someone is chewing you out over a mistake then they aren't someone you want to be grouping with.
