  1. Design is terrible. Fix your Page Layout. See when you post in a thread, you subscribe to it, and there's a subscription page that shows all the threads you've subbed to, and you can choose to delete subs, or keep them. It's meant so you can just go to your thread subs page, and keep track of all the threads you're subbed to. Making it easy to keep track of all your ongoing conversations on the forums. Anyways, it used to be that your thread subs page hyperlink was right next to your PM hyperlink. (which is in the little dropdown when you click your name at the top right now) But now, in order to access that, you need to go to "My SWTOR" > Forum Management > Log In (including Skey if you have it) > Forum Subscriptions. Why? (sorry for the essay, but people don't understand slightly non-basic functions of a forum)
  2. The way it was before was fine, anything relating to your personal information, game subscription, etc etc, was protected by that second log in, there is no reason to have your thread subscriptions password protected past the first log in. This has nothing to do color design, being brighter/easier to see. This is about page layout. And anyone who is even semi knowledgeable about web design knows what I'm talking about. The new design is clunky, and bad.
  3. Bioware took a design that was absolutely fine, and made it clunkier. Why would you think that making us jump through more pages and scrolling more would some how be a good idea? My biggest gripe is with the Thread Subscriptions.. The only way that I've found now to see my subscriptions and go to the threads easily is to go through the second log in process, which since I have a security key, I have to pop my Iphone out and start up the SKey app, just to check my subscriptions. So much for a quality of life feature. Bad design is bad. WTB option to go back to old design.
  4. Make them happen.. Kill off some dead servers by merging them with others. (there are a lot of dead servers) Use the money you save from not having to operate 10-15 dead servers, and put that into upgrading existing servers, making them more stable and able to sustain a higher player pop. Then give us character transfers, so we don't have lvl 50s sitting in dead servers, instead of on a server we can actually play them on. Also, Fatman currently has a queue of 850... 850. Do something.
  5. Pretty much what everyone else has said. They put them in for 1.1.5 only. You won't be able to get them in-game at all after 1.1.5, but you'll still have it if you bought one. Pretty much, it'll be a super rare crystal to show off in 1.2 and onwards. Which is why I spent the 2.5mil on one for my Guardian.
  6. Personally, I'd say to just get rid of Focused Defense, and up the absorption from Blade Barrier (bubble off of Blade Storm) and further knock the talent down another tier. Or get rid of Blade Barrier, and replace it with Focused Defense's effect, because as it is right now, its not really a worthwhile talent imo.
  7. We have plenty of issues in PvP. The stun is just yet another one issue BW decided to dump on us for no reason. I doubt I'll change my style much, so I'll no doubt get yelled at for whitebarring just for leaping to gain some focus and get in range to do damage. BW really does hate melee classes.
  8. They have the tech and capabilites to easily give premade 50s to the testers. They did it in a Closed Beta test. I don't understand why they'd want us to test leveling up, for a patch that is pretty much exclusively about end game. Early Game has been tested to death Bioware... Your class balancing at END GAME is what really needs to be tested.. lvl 10-20s isn't going to give you the proper metrics to make any necessary changes. And the select few you chose to copy over... isn't going to give you enough metrics either. Help us help you. C'mon.
  9. honestly, the only armor that doesn't look completely terrible is the Trooper's. It looks alright. And what the heck kind of helmet is that on the JK pvp set!?!? Like a Space helmet or Something you'd see a bounty hunter named Samus wear?! I don't even know anymore.
  10. what is this... I dont even!? I wish we had male models to look at. what the hell is on the JK's head on the pvp set?! WHAT!?!
  11. I haven't gotten a chance to play this spec yet QQ. I want the charge though, so I'm going to make it work somehow.
  12. I heard a buddy talking about this spec, gonna have to check it out when I hit 50 on my new powertech.
  13. Just wondering if anyone knows, or if a Dev could shed some light on this. How will PvP weapons be structured for mods in 1.2? As in, what mod is going to be holding the expertise stat? Will it be the Color Crystal? I assumed it would be the hilt/barrel, but in other lower lvl pvp weapons its actually the enhancement. I'd like a white crystal to mod into my Battlemaster saber come 1.2, but I don't know which one to grab, the expertise or the power/other stat.
  14. makes me sad that my lvl 50 trooper alt is a human tbh. Shoulda made her a Mirilian or something.
  15. Couple things. my spec. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#5000MZI0MZRrRbddMdGR.1 1. No need to put skill points towards crit chance, since your main ability will already be auto crit, I haven't really found the need to put points into the focus building from CCs either. 2. IMO, Putting a point to make master strike uninterruptable is a mistake, I have never had anyone interrupt it, and the main way it stops, is if they run out of range, which doesn't count as an interrupt. 3. Making sundering strike generate 3 focus is crucial, and Second Wind is a very nice heal to have. As for your rotation, I promise you, you'll see higher numbers if you Combat focus/saber throw/sundering(focus gen) > any stims/relics that are available > exhaust > leap > smash. The reason for that rotation is because, the one you described actually doesn't make use of our 4 set bonus' 10% dmg buff of Force Leap. If you leap first, by the time you build your 4 charges for sweep, the 5 sec buff will be gone, and you'll be missing out on 10% damage with your sweep. Also, using sweep right after a leap will immobilize your target, significantly reducing the likelyhood of you getting KBed, or them simply kiting out of range of the AOE. 1 more little trick thats nice in a pinch, exhaust lasts 6 seconds, you can sweep with it at 3 stacks for sweep, and still get another 3 stack built for another go. Less damage, but you get 2 slightly less powerful sweeps for the price of 1 exhaust.
