Hello all you lovely people! Like so many others, I've come back to SWtOR and am looking for a new home. I greatly enjoyed running OPs and FPs when I was active before, but it's been quite a while (since around 1.2 I believe). I have both a Guardian and Juggernaut tank I just love playing. Faction isn't terribly important because I love them both, but I'm not very interested in partaking in RP. I know, being on an RP server isn't exactly ideal for that. If any guilds who focus more on the PvE endgame are looking for a tank (or maaaaaybe a Sentinel, in the process of leveling that one) I'd be happy to punch things and Force choke it along with you.

Over the last few months I've been doing some research both here and on the official subreddit for what the average SWTOR player has as his/her headcanon. I play every MMO with the same rule: "If it can tank, it must." I have a Jugg, Assassin, and PT. Flip that for my Guardian, Shadow, and Vanguard. I honestly find it so much easier to tank than DPS/heal that it isn't even funny. With specific mechanics aside, the usual queue'd content is run in, taunt things, AoE threat applied, *insert saber reflect here for that delicious Guardernaut threat boost*, interrupt casts and begin smashing things in priority. Let the DPS move out of all of the effects that will kill them and the healer worry about them standing in it. I have cooldowns and I'm the only one actually crossing sabers with the opponents. I have considerably shorter queue times for when I want to do group content. I can solo a ridiculous amount of content as well. It's good to be the tank.

While all of that is true from a 3.0 perspective, I tend to make my character decisions from a story-driven view alone. To that end, several of my characters have been obvious, except my favorite, the Wrath. I'm leveling a Jugs and a Mara, and they both just fit, more than any other ACs to the story except maybe the Trooper.

Wow, much less love for the Marauder than I had guessed. I never could make up my mind because I felt both ACs fit the Wrath so perfectly, one embodying an undying defense and another for an all-out assault against the enemies of the Empire.

Gameplay, PvP dominance, dps and survivability all aside, which AC do you feel fits the Emperor's Wrath the most. Do you see the Wrath as a towering Juggernaut, able to deliver felling blows and withstand the greatest punishment or is he a quicker, more dominating, relentless Marauder with a flurry of twin sabers?

This is how I envisioned my Jedi Guardian to look when I began in beta, and I've finally achieved it. I know I won't be unique but I'm the first I've seen online rocking it. Lathan standing. Lathan ready.

Hey all, I've been tanking for a while now and I'm in full Columi gear. While I've been tanking in MMOs for years and I've been accustomed to grinding out my set bonus pretty early, I've not been impressed with the Guardian's tanking bonus thus far. The 2-set is handy to give a little extra push on our cooldowns but the 4-set just seems very lackluster and I haven't noticed much improvement with or without it. My question is how necessary do you all feel that the set bonuses are? I'd personally much rather augment my Battlelord's gear and tank in that than stare at my ridiculous shoulder pads much longer. Yes, I do know that I could augment my existing gear and keep my set bonuses, but this is more a question of aesthetics vs function, and how necessary are the set bonuses. Thanks!

The headband from Athiss will hide your hood and won't cover your eyes, as it's one of the crown-styled circlets.

Still no toggle in 1.3? I'm hardly shocked, as I've almost lost all hope that it'll happen anytime in the acceptable future.
